Petit déjeuner très varié et de très bonne qualité, accueil chaleureux et situation géographique idéale pour visiter Brighton.
La chambre est fonctionnelle sans plus.

Posizione comoda per il centro. Personale gentile.
Camera piccola al quarto piano. Pulizia del bagno insufficiente. Biancheria mai cambiata in 3 notti di soggiorno.

The staff were all very attentive and helpful especially Karl in reception and the ladies serving breakfast. The room was really clean, spacious and had everything we needed from tea and coffee facilities to an iron and ironing board as well as a very welcome fan for hot weather. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet even though it was situated on the front overlooking the square. The hotel was very convenient to the sea front as well as restaurants and shops

Staff were great - location was great - room was nice with a nice view
A couple of small shelves would have been good - especially near the big mirror - not much space to put brushes etc. Also a larger bath towel would have been great.

No hot water in our room when we needed it. No help during the stay.

There was a reception, the room was nice and clean and they served breakfast. The location was perfect, very close to the beach and the lanes.
There was an issue with my room so I was offered a room on the lower ground floor instead. The room was spacious, but not much natural light and no view.

Great period property
Can be a bit noisy at night , but that’s Brighton for you

Have stayed here before for the Brighton Marathon. Reasonable priced and lovely accommodation. Carl on reception was so friendly and helpful. He even lent me a charger for my battery pack which I used for the weekend.
My room was on the very top floor. But was fine once up there and very comfortable room and bed. Slept well.

A shower would be nice!

Friendly welcome.
Staff helpful.

The location was great. It was easy to walk to the lanes and the seafront and not even too far from Hive to walk it. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Carl. The breakfast offerings were very good and had something for everybody. The croissants were outstanding! There was plentiful hot water in the shower once you’d let it run for a couple of minutes.
The rooms are very small and the shower cubicles very very small.
The amount of stairs became a bit of a drag.
The TV reception for BBC was very poor and kept pixelating which is annoying when all you want to do is quickly check the news!
Nescafé coffee in the rooms 🤮

Great location that is close to the main part of Brighton abd walking distance to all the main attractions. The next street over also has a great selection of restaurants and bars if you don't feel like venturing into the centre of town.
The facilities are clean, extremely well maintained with a great selection at breakfast and really friendly staff. Decent wifi and a very comfy bed.
No hesitation in recommending Brighton House!
There are quite a few stairs especially if you are located in one of the rooms towards the top, it might not suit someone with mobility issues as there is no lift but did not bother us.
Shower was quite cosy but water pressure and temperature good.

It was great it was in the top floor as they had said when I booked which wouldn't suit everyone, but it was great for my 1 night stand and will look to come back
That I had to shoot off before what looked like an excellent breakfast

Staff was lovely, they were kind enough to give me a free upgrade for the room and the breakfast was delicious. The room was very quiet, clean and the bed was comfortable. Very close to the seaside and close to the shopping street.

Brilliant location and very friendly staff
Too many stairs, no lift and shower cubicles very small.
Also very thin walls, could even hear a light switch being turned on.

The hotel is lovely and lots of original features and even a bit from the old pier which was cool.
When we arrived, we were greeted really warmly and made to feel very welcome. We were kindly given an upgrade so we didn't have to climb loads of stairs and we had a little balcony we could view the i360 and the sea from.
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Some very steep stairs!

Very friendly staff. We were allowed to check in earlier and got some useful tips and recomendtions for the city. Breakfest for very good with many varied options! Room was a bit small but clean, beds comfortable. Location is great, close to the see and i360
Everything was good!

Friendly staff, great continental breakfast, comfy bed. Clean bathrooom and great use of a small space.
Not much you can do in an old building but every time someone else used shower or flushed toilet in rooms nearby the water in the pipes in my room would wake me up (again, I know there is not much to be done there!)

Staff welcome was excellent, and when it turned out I had to leave too early for breakfast I was made a lovely packed breakfast that was left out for me.
It wasn’t a problem for me, but if you can’t handle lots of stairs maybe mention that on your booking so you can be put on a lower level as they are quite steep.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was open until 11 on weekend and had a great fruit salad. The room was also quiet and seemed to keep out any noise pretty well.
The staircase to the top floors is a little steep and narrow and there is no lift- not a problem for me but could be an issue for some

Breakfast was amazing and staff all very very friendly.
Room was smaller than expected.

Breakfast was very nice and as I was leaving early the staff allowed me access a little earlier than other guests. They also offered to make me up a breakfast bag to takeaway.
The location was ideal for me as it was equidistant to the two locations I was working at.
I have to say the parking, which I fully understand and appreciate is not down to Brighton House, but it will affect the business. The council doesn’t appear to be very helpful or constructive and the private parking providers are outrageously priced.
Although I’m not young anymore (64) I’m reasonably fit, but staying right up the top did feel a little like climbing the stairway to heaven :-) but the room was really nice.
It took a while for the shower to heat up, but I appreciate the hot water has a long way to come from where the boiler is situated.
