It has a nice feel with a different decor. Lovely style.

Breakfast was great
Room was good size, however needs more closet space! Also corridors of hotel are very dark even in daytime!
Bar staff need to be more tentative eg asked for bill twice and had to wait then approached staff ourselves!
Asked for sweetener with the coffee in the morning and nothing came - was ignored.

Excellent location, good sized room, stylish designs, mighty breakfast and a mad hatters afternoon tea party, what’s not to like!
Price as well as the service charge they decide to add at 13.5%! I prefer the discretion personally.

Great area and location - we liked exploring around here. Big room yes but needs a refurb.
The hotel looks dated and when my wife visited some 12 years ago it was buzzy, cool, vibey and packed full of atmosphere. Nothing has changed in 12 years and the hotel has therefore gone backwards whilst other hotels have invested and modernised. The rooms feel stark, clinical and lack warmth. Blinds were damaged and pull cords plastic. Cheap. It's now a dated look and the net curtains everywhere doesn't feel smart or cool. Come on Sanderson up your game. Price expensive for what it is and wouldn't go back for sure.

After enduring a nightmare experience at the Soho Mayfair Luxury Central Apartment, my stay at the Sanderson Hotel was an absolute breath of fresh air. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that instantly put me at ease after the ordeal I had just gone through.

Location was good. Stayed previously & couldn't fault it.
Felt like all the staff were being trained while we were there i.e virtually one in/ at the bar, loads of people behind it looking at tills, yet we then still had to make a big effort to get noticed in order to get another drink. Lots of staff complaining about their treatment. And this was at 6pm in the evening. Didnt feel like a good vibe for a reopening and it showed. Same again at breakfast.

Room & facilities were great, as we're the staff as usual. I had an issue with my room (noise from building site outside my window) which once I complained the staff did all they could to resolve as best they could.
Unfortunately the building next to the hotel is being renovated and from 7:30am onwards my room was not relaxing in any way. The noise from the adjacent building site really was atrocious, which meant there was zero chance of a lie on on my day of annual leave.

Spotlessly clean, great staff, cracking pool table in the lobby 👌
Room service was great, food (even in early hours) was really good.

Lovely modern designed hotel in a great location with beautiful comfortable large bedrooms. The bar of an evening was a great place to be. The DJ was a great addition. The breakfast was really good and all the staff were very friendly and efficient.

It was great that we could get a nice room - and they offered us an upgrade - fairly last-minute at a good price in an excellent location. The bed & bed linens were fabulous. Very smooth check-in and fairly quick cab service on our early-morning departure.
I'd lived a couple of blocks away 20+ years ago, and would note that the interiors - while yes are iconic - haven't changed, since. The aesthetic works well for the lobby area, but I'd say it's too cool by half in the guest rooms (rather impractical). If you can't get proper privacy for using the loo, and can't stand at the sink/mirror to use your hairdryer (because power outlets would muddy the vignette), and can't illuminate the bathroom without waking a sleeping partner (if you're disinclined to interact with the fabric curtain panels more than you have to in a hotel room)... the minor aggravations can add up.

Cannot fault anything on the property from rooms to staff. Amazing
No shuttle service to Heathrow but not a criticism.

Stay was comfortable and location was great.
Nothing.

It was near a restaurant we were going to
This hotel is very overpriced for what it is. The outside is very dated, rooms are basic and the shower and taps need upgrading. The staff in at the bar in the evening and for breakfast were very slow, unhelpful and sometimes just rude. I would not recommend and will not go back

A comfortable hotel with good dining facilities. The breakfasts were excellent with a good variety of choices. The en suite was spacious with good supply of towels, soap etc.
The staff were excellent often anticipating our needs.
The hotel lighting was indirect making it darker than we liked.
Music noise from the bar was intrusive in the room.

Good style and location
Someone had vomited in the corridor outside our room when return to our room in the evening. I contacted the concierge to let them know but in the morning it had not been cleared up and when I mentioned it to house keeping later they said that the air conditioning wasn’t working well in the area
