Location was very good as a meet up for family, travelling from different locations. Our room, bed, bathroom etc all very comfortable. Lovely touches, tea bags, Nespresso coffee maker, fresh milk daily left in room. Breakfast menu very varied.

Beautiful period property, shown off at its best, great interior, all looked newly refurbished, clean and fresh, yet celebrating the history of The Hare and Hounds . Food delicious, staff welcoming and friendly. The ideal meet up place for the four of us, plenty of country walks near by as-well as being on the edge of Newbury town itself. All the staff we met were polite and friendly, especially the young waitress who joined in pleasantly with our banter. The Sunday lunch and breakfast top notch. Thank you all x

Booked disabled room, was all on one level except for the step into the room. As one guest was on crutches wasn't as easy for them to get into the room.

not only was the room excellent but the small details went above and beyond my expectations. The restaurant and breakfast were excellent- all fresh local produce. The staff were all friendly and helpful, but particularly Annabelle for whom nothing was too much trouble.

I would have preferred a room in the main building, but this was a minor detail

really nice rooms and pub - delicious food, friendly service. So many nice touches, including sloe gin in the room, gowns, slippers, and milk and water delivery. Very comfy bed also.

not a negative but maybe a nice addition would be a small fridge in the room to put the milk in.

we loved this place and our dog too, the room we stayed are amazing (it is the best we stayed then other hotel), we loved the room, the restaurant and breakfast are amazing as well, relaxing. The foods are excellent. We will come back here again. worth booking this hotel with pet

The breakfast, hotel, our room and staff were great. Great value for money. Late check in and milk bottle out side on the door step in the morning!

Double check the dinner hours — I think it ends earlier on Sundays, so I couldn't eat there one evening.
