A good relaxing stay

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, kids liked the pancake maker. The dinner was also nice for the most part. The staff were superb. Particular mention should go to the receptionists, Tristan, Connie and Chanel, who were pleasant, very professional and extremely helpful, from the moment we checked in to after we had left the hotel.

OK and a good base for what we wanted. We would not consider returning.

The view from the room was great. Staff were great and the choice of drinks good..

The breakfast was OK but over priced. Balcony had loose boards and the table was far too big. It was a strain to recover the second chair from behind the table.there was no where to sit out to enjoy the afternoon or evening sun. Constant issues with the access cards. Battery on the door ran out twice and we had to get assistance to get in the room four times. We stayed four nights!!!

Excellent reception. Spacious room.

Not all the bar/restaurant staff were cheerful. Some were just doing a job - no communication. Joe, on Sunday miornbiung breakfast, was outstandingly good, and many of the others need to learn from him.

Expensive treat

Ambience- friendly staff - nice rooms and pool - relaxed atmosphere regarding covid unlike other hotels who use it as an excuse for poor to no service.

Costly - the menu included in the dinner, bed and breakfast rate was extremely limited and quite disappointing.

Location. Bar staff really good. The shower.

The room. Tired. Light coming in around the door frame disturbed sleep. Curtains ...hooks missing. Wonky lamp shades dated furniture.

Good value Hotel near Glyndebourne

Spacious rooms, excellent public rooms. Lunch in the bar was excellent as was the included breakfast. All the staff we interacted with were chereful and helpful. Our 4th visit when in the area so despite the negatives we love this hotel.

Good rooms but some shortcomings for the price

Very good range at breakfast. Good room facilities.

Beds were not particularly comfortable. Some breakfast items were not as warm as they should be. Bar area was very noisy with large groups and echo effects.

Lovely time, beautiful room. Bed ruin the stay

Breakfast was amazing lots of choice, very relaxing. Room was huge and was beautiful. Staff very very polite and helpful.

Room had cobwebs. 2 single mattress pushed together, that kept separating though the night which was very uncomfortable.

helpful, happy, friendly staff, lovely venue, nice pool, mostly clean. nice selection at breakfast, beautiful views, really nice large room.

Booked because of the pool but only found out after paying children could only swim 3-5, no swim offered even early which seems mean as paid adult prices for them. Disappointed as thought they catered for families but seems only a limited amount. Appreciate restricted times but an hour in morning would have been nice. Patio doors in 221 on left side don't shut properly and whistled. walls dirty down right hand side of king bed. broken loungers in pool, not enough places to sit.

It was my birthday and they do not serve my favourite Strawberry Daiquiri cocktail! The only real thing that would have enhanced it for me is if they had a small shop facility on site for your basics essentials as I had forgotten my toothpaste, but this was a personal oversight.

Liked everything about the place, room etc

House keeping below par on this occasion. Toilet roll not replaced, coffee, tea bags not replenished in room. No hot chocolate available in the spa area, the last two visits to the hotel have been exactly the same.

Decent for business trips, Awful place for a holiday

Room service and housekeeping is very accommodative.

The times didn’t match the times on the recommended app. The jacuzzi and sauna was not working. The waiting and night staff was rude and clueless.
