Fantastic atmosphere. Really loved the cosy lounge, both in decor and comfort. Room was spectacular. We'd booked an Excellent room and it really delivered. The bathtub was such a nice touch, the bed amazingly comfortable. It felt like a truly special experience.
It's hard to find the concierge on entering the hotel and some signage/way of contacting him would help minimise this. This was also the case at breakfast. The tea/coffee station in the room would benefit from a small bin for discarded teabags, sugar sachets etc.

Small style and nicely decorated downstairs
Not free parking, the heat of the room overlooking street was unbearable. Had to sleep with window open so noisy we had no sleep

Extremely well appointed, excellent service, delicious food, and the most enormous bath!
Though a very good fan was provided, the room was too warm and it was difficult to get much cross ventilation from the windows.

Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, both at reception and in the restaurant. Breakfast and coffee were fantastic. Room decor was great, quiet room.
The room was a little warm, however a large Dyson fan helped with that. Nothing else springs to mind, wish we had stayed longer!

Beautiful hotel very cool decor. The food at dinner was out of this world had to complement the chef. The staff could be more helpful.

Friendly reception on arrival, room very clean, nice facilities, fresh towels each day, fresh bottle of water each day. Excellent quality fan provided.
Breakfast selection very good.
This is a high quality hotel with some quirky features.
Only one chair in the room. The walk in shower was really nice but the water escaped into the main bathroom which was a slight worry.

Good breakfast and good service although staff were sometimes a bit elusive!
Very noisy- traffic. Very hot- hotter than outside. The staircase and landings were very hot and steamy. Many fittings in our room were literally falling off the walls!

comfortable & in a quiet neighborhood close to the bus line
I stayed Sunday-Tuesday and apparently the restaurant is not open for dinner Sunday & Monday evenings. I somehow missed this and it’s a walk of about 10min to other restaurants. There was also no room cleaning in these days which was fine, but not expected.

Staff fantastic. Food in the restaurant fabulous and the Italian Manager makes brilliant cocktails. Overall there is a great relaxed yet high quality vibe to the service.

The room was really nice, with a fantastic tub, and comfortable bed. The bathroom was huge and with a double shower.
The windows were old and did not isolate from the traffic noise.

I got upgraded which i was not expecting and the room was amazing. Certainly exceeded expectations and the free standing bath was a brilliant touch. All the staff were great. A particular shout out to the receptionist who was incredibly professional, engaging and welcoming. Staff obviously should be pleasant and welcoming as that is their job but I felt she had a manner about her that felt incredibly genuine and much more personable than I'm used to which was a brilliant first impression of the place.
There were no cocktails on offer. Not a huge problem but if there was room for improvement or a suggestion, that would be it.

The breakfast was lovely and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
We were a bit warm in the room. I think we needed an air con lesson.

No. It was all lovely.

Whole place was calm, relaxed and comfortable - the staff without exception professional as well as friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. Breakfast was lovely.
I’d have liked the room to have somewhere for clothes! No wardrobe, no drawers - but for our short stay not a fatal flaw!

Just all good we really enjoyed our stay room was amazing.
No can't fault anything.

The building, general areas, location, staff and restaurant were great and were what we expected.
The decor in the room was a little tired. The light in the bathroom was flashing, so couldn’t be used. The fridge should be on the lower shelf and tea and coffee on the upper shelf.
