Very good

Lovely views. Comfortable beds.

Note that you can not use the pool without a swimming cap. The air conditioning in our room did not work.

A nice hotel for an affordable family trip.

The indoor pool was a nice feature for the kids; the room was spacious enough for 2 persons and 2 kids up to 6 years (providing they sleep with the mother on the master bed and you on the couch/extra bed); the breakfast was plenty of choice without being too much extravagant: bread, household cakes, fruits, milk, coffee, juices, cereals, cookies, charcuterie and cheese.

The hotel are in need of urgent renovation in some areas: the bedroom access door was broken, the bathing facilities in the pool were inoperable, the aluminium window/door of the outer room did not have a working lock...

I would go there again! 😀

Overall the hotel met a medium/high standard. The view, the breakfast and the location. The room was very comfortable.

The toilet in the bathroom had a urine smell. The games room had a humid smell. The snooker table needs a new clothe.

Kind of magical place to go walking.

The staff were really helpful, and friendly. They were considerate, and especially helpful with showing me how to access transport to nearby towns. I enjoyed staying in beautiful Luso, and I'd be happy to return to this hotel.

Ok but not great if you want to stay more than just 1 night

Lounge is a lovely area Localization is just ideal with beautiful views towards Luso

Not very clean. Bath with matted hair . Not fresh and clean smell. Towles with stains and hair found. Breakfast with good variety but poor quality products. Bread was fresh and good. Small fruit variety. Water tasted rusty

Familiar Family Hotel

It’s a large family managed hotel, with a familiar sense. It has a lovely spacious sitting room by reception and a working lift to get you to your room. The cleaning staff are very friendly and the hotel owner is a legend. It’s located right in the middle of Luso centro so all is in reach. The bedroom has good air conditioner which is brilliant for the hot days. This hotel has loads of potential and I know it’s being improved each year.

The pool area needs proper ventilation for the condensation. Bedroom housekeeping needs a little more attention, in particular hoovering the floors. The sitting room on the 4th floor needs to become functional. Its currently looking more like an abandoned dusty room. It’s a shame because it could be a lovely space. The reception staff needs to have a space for their discussions away from the clients space. They are often heard and seen arguing and shouting with each other.

Nice hotel for a one night stay.

The bed is very confortable.

Shower takes time to get heated, and it doesn't have lot of pressure. Breakfast could improve a little bit.

Friendly Staff, Good Nights Sleep, Great Location

I work online while traveling, and was staying at a friend's place in Penacova, but it was super cold so I came here because I saw it was a good price and had WiFi and air conditioner heating in all the rooms. I was very pleasently surprised. The staff are so friendly and super helpful, the hotel was dated but with super comfortable beds, with a spacious breakfast room, indoor dip pool which I didn't try but good to know fur next time. The room had great curtains fitted blackout, no street noise over night, and best of all the bath has spa bubbles!! The hotel decor is old, fashioned, but it's stacked full of interesting artwork and the location is just brilliant, 20 mins walk to the forest and 30 mins to Buçaco Palace. I will stay here again.

Disappointing

The bed was comfortable and the price wasn’t too big.

The room wasn’t very clean, breadsheet was with stains, towels with holes. There was a strange smell in all hotel.

Very good

The staffs are really nice and helpful! The hotel is situated in the center of the town, parking is easy and the breakfast is of good quality for this price as well.
