Nie wieder!!

Ich hatte extra ein Familien zimmer gebucht! Wir waren mein Mann, mein Sohn, meiner Mutter und ich. Das Zimmer hatte noch ein Zimmer für meine Mama. Insgesamt für 189€ gebucht für nur eine Nacht, damit wir näher am Flughafen sind für die abreise. Am hotel angekommen hieß es, das Zimmer sei nur für Kinder und meine Mutter könnte dort nicht schlafen...? Wtf? Ich wurde gezwunden für fast 100€ noch ein Zimmer für meine Mama zu Buchen...ende vom Lied. Mein Mann hat in dem extra Zimmer geschlafen, damit ich und mein Sohn mehr platz hatten im Doppelbett. Also am ende hat doch ein Erwachsener drin geschlafen und er meinte es war voll kommen gemüdlich, meine Mutter hätte sehr wohl dort schlafen können!!!Fazit fast 300€ für eine Nacht und niemand kommt einem entgegen booking nicht und das Hotel nicht.. ich bin echt sauer!!!

hôtel bien situé et chic

la chambre spacieuse, la qualité du petit déjeuner et les dîners excellents sans oublier le personnel du restaurant le soir( notamment à la personne qui parlait très bien le français). le spa est très bien ( personnel très bien)dommage qu’il faut payé l’accès + les tongs + bonnets.

le balcon aucun équipement extérieur (table,chaises …)en cette saison c dommage

Decent Option in Porto

Axis Hotel is everything you can expect from a 4-star lodging. Nice breakfast (included in reservation), good ambience, contemporary decor, quite spacious room (in our case even with a balcony), comfortable beds, kind customer service. We also went to get a massage in the Spa which was an awesome treat!

During our one-month trip to Europe, Porto Axis Hotel marks one of our final destinations. Not to sound like a complainer, but it's hard not to observe a common trend in the design of bathrooms across Europe in various lodging options we've seen, including this one, and many other 4-star establishments. Truly, why is there a consistent use of half glass doors in showers, which inevitably leads to bathroom flooding while showering?? Plus, be prepared to dry yourself with damp towels because the towel-hangers are inside the shower, so water splashes on them before use (so be sure to take them out prior to getting in). Finally, also be prepared to use those towels to dry the “lake” that has formed in the bathroom floors! 🙄 Ironic it seems to me, considering the notes urging guests to reuse towels for environmental conservation.

La habitación olía a cerrado y los muebles parecían tener mucho polvo. Necesita una reforma, está un poco anticuado. Tiene 9 plantas y 2 ascensores pequeños que son algo lentos.

La amabilidad del personal, la comodidad y amplitud de las habitaciones, los servicios extras que ofrece el hotel. Buena carta tanto de cafetería como de comedor.

El segundo día la habitación no la arreglaron y limpiaron como el primer día con menos esmero. Los amenities justitos y el armario queda abierto solo hay una puerta corredera y queda la mitad abierto con todo a la vista.

Very elegant feeling with the massive price.

You have to pay to use the pool €5 each and another €10 on slippers etc.. so €15 each per person for an hour!! Not impressed to be honest

Great staff, great hotel

Friendly and excellent staff. Polite and helpful. The restaurant staff were particularly attentive and courteous. Spacious, comfortable and clean room. Spacious bathroom. Pleasant balcony.

Additional payments required for pool and parking. The quality of the food in the restaurant could be improved and the portion sizes be more generous. The bar area could be made more comfortable and inviting.

Very pretty hotel and the staff was very friendly.

We got the Suite and it was very big and modern. Very pretty room. We even got a welcome drink, Porto wine. The Breakfast looked very yummy and was included!

The elevator from the -2 wasn‘t working but as soon as we told the staff they fixes it so in the end it was still good.

Very good accommodation, attentive staff. Would recommend.

Spacious room and on 7 th floor it had a very lovely sunset view over ‘local’ rooftops and beyond. Room very clean. Free drink on arrival. Attentive amicable staff.

We had amazing sleep as it was very calm and the bed was very comfy, but the breakfast can be better

The room was very clean and had everything we needed, the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast had a good variety and was okay, the hotel is a bit far from city center though (30min including walking to the train station), spa was closed for the month for renovation.

The breakfast can be better, including more variety for a 4-star hotel, and having more fresh food and drinks (especially the cakes and the juices). It was also a bit too expensive for only the room, as the hotel didn't include any other areas (only a small terrasse at the back).
