Nice and clean
Unit was nice and tidy

The king size bed is very comfortable for traveler/s. It's very convenient to shop food for a Woolworth as a neighbor.
The traffic noises start in very early morning.

I had a bad car accident and couldn’t come up with my family. Tash very generously refunded my part of the group accomodation. Very kind of her. The rest of my family enjoyed their stay

The place has a pool which is a plus during hot summer. Parking is easy, inside the property. Near by the main shops and road. Bed is very large and shower is nice.
We arrived almost 2 hours inside the reception open hours and no one was there to help with the check in. We received info by text that the key would be in the safe box...it wasn't. I had to find a public toilet somewhere because we couldn't access the room. The lady who came 15min later was very apologetic which was nice. Sink in the bathroom is very small and difficult to wash dishes. The room that they put us is noise because it's on the corner facing the road and windows are not properly sealed. Bed was a bit floppy...needs replacement.

it was close to shops countdown location was perfect etc
Maybe more kitchen storage for when we get shopping to have maybe cupboard to store away food, we would have love for the spa to be working but, we still enjoyed our stay.

price
only because I’m
new I struggled to get key out . after 6 tricky to get hold of someone but accept it’s winter . shower door jammed but someone came quickly to resolve it . really my fault for not saying ground floor etc

The unit was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The wifi and TV worked well. The BBQ and pool area looked attractive although we didn't use these facilities. Countdown Supermarket is right next door. It is a quick drive or a 10min walk by the water to shops and restaurants.

Comfortable motel with accommodting staff. However, it was advertised on booking.com as beachfront, but it is not a beachfront motel, but down the road next to a supermarket. Easy to walk or drive to and from sights, etc, though.

The 2 bedroom apartment was as expected but for a 2 night stay we only had it for one night, due to a booking mess up. The manager was most apologetic.
The photos online and here are not what you see when you arrive. The pool is actually out the back and looked very nice but as you drive up the place looks uninviting and quite generic.
There was a muck up with our booking and we had booked to be in these 2 bedroom apartment but when we arrived at the room there was someone inside cooking dinner!
There is no onsight manager and the office closes at 5pm. Due to a huge traffic jam on the motorway, we arrived after 5pm.
The manager did come and meet us there, after we made contact that there was someone already in our apartment.
We were taken to a much less salubrious single story apartment block in another street. The beds were clean but carpet filthy and bathroom old.
No discount or refund was offered.
The second night was in the apartment that had been booked and payed for and it was clean and comfortable.
I had received 9 or more emails and confirmation from Booking.com, paid up front several days before and it still wasn't right.

Nice pool & bbq, comfy beds
Was further from the beach than we thought & right next to a large Countdown (kind of handy but not as idyllic); not great value for money

We had a very quick stay but it was clean and tidy and very good value for money.

Room was excellent, but spa was broken and small amount of water leaked thru vent above toilet.microwave was also buggered..outside the gutters are chock full of weeds causing rain to pour down in front door and generally needs a tidy up.but was definetly stay there again
Outside needs a good clean up

Pool looked great. CD right next door which was handy.

Stayed here for five nights in February. Unfortunately we were hit by cyclone Gabriel and so did n't see the best of Paihia. Our room was comfortable enough but it would benefit from an upgrade. It was n't that clean. They had Sky television and Netflix which was lucky due to the amount of time we had to stay in the room. Washing up was via a plastic bowl and using the bathroom sink.
Expensive Motel for what it is. Did n't see see any cleaning staff during our stay. Did n't have a change of bedding or towels for five days. This may have been due to the storm. No one on reception either. We felt abandoned and left to our own devices to deal with the effects of the storm. Very poor service by the people who run this Motel. (Who are they?)

It was exactly as advertised & what we wanted, but nicer and cleaner. We liked that it was low key, self check out but when we locked our keys in and had a first aid request, they helped out immediately. They were amazing.
