The Bale just exceeded every idea we had about excellent service.

We stayed in the one bedroom Villa which was magnificent. The outdoor bed was an extremely enjoyable addition. The food and service are just something else. The communication and responses are instant.

Wish we could stay longer!

Staff are helpful, friendly and lovely. The room is beautiful, clean and spacious. Spa and massage experience are excellent. We really enjoying our stay.

Very quiet and very spacious villa. All the water features make for a stunning entrance. The main pool area and breakfast dining was great. Food superb and freshly cooked to order. Loved the outdoor shower option.

Nothing bad. Sandstone always ages, but can’t do anything about that.

Luxury, perfect for a short stay.

My recent stay at The Balé in Nusa Dua was nothing short of extraordinary. This serene resort offers a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The villa I stayed in was beautifully designed, with a private pool and lush garden that provided a sense of seclusion and peace. The room itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could desire. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of The Balé is its attention to detail in every aspect of service. The daily breakfast, served either in the villa or at the restaurant, was a delightful start to each day, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The location of The Balé is also a plus, situated in the peaceful area of Nusa Dua yet close enough to explore the vibrant scenes of Bali.

Idyllic getaway!

The service was exceptional and the food was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of our villa and the use of the spa. The best part was the special app to communicate with the restaurant and the front desk to arrange for room service or spa treatments.

Pretty average overall for Bali, but the staff are lovely.

Gym was pretty dismal. No workout mats unless you ask for them, then you need to wait for staff to go get them from a locked room. Not sure why coz yoga mats are the cheapest of all gym equipment. Every hotel should have several in their gym so that I’m not wasting time waiting for mat every time I use the gym.

Bliss, peaceful, private.

What a gem of a property! Pricey but you get what you pay for. It was really a great experience.

A tad dated but sure the Bale team is working to get the property back to what it used to be before the pandemic.

I loved the location and the staff made the visit memorable.

The staff is amazing. Any request no matter how small was promptly actioned. Hated leaving them.

The only thing I would say to work on is to upgrade the AC units for the individual villas and seal the doors to help keep in the cool air in. It’s tropical and I get the whole open air concept though.

Awesome place to unwind in luxury

Perfect resort for a tranquil, memorable, luxury escape. The villas are completely private and you can feel like you are the only guests in the resort if you want that level of seclusion.. The facilities are very good, the staff are all absolutely excellent..

Could not have wished for a more luxurious villa to make memories on our special anniversary getaway

The most amazing freshly prepared food. Many healthy options. Wide variety of items to choose from including fresh local fruit, cereals, yoghurt, cooked breakfast. Freshly brewed barista made coffee. To top it all the most delicious nutritious fruit smoothies. Refillable containers of quality products in the bathroom add to an Eco friendly environment through out the villa. A choice of daily fruit with a description card is a unique touch to our stay. Lastly experiencing the tapa restaurant with live music and perfect food portions is a must.

Perfect score 10/10 for service and food. One suggestion is to improve the coffee selection in the villa. Perhaps include more mosquito repellent in the villa and outdoors during the rainy season such as citronella candles/oil burners.

great staff disappointing property

Amazing staff great service , great food loved the privacy . Breakfast is exceptional. We booked purposely as it’s adults only , we didn’t want a large corporate hotel full of kids over Christmas.

The property is desperate for an update even the manager accepted it needs TLC . We didn’t like the lack of lighting - a real issue in the bathroom , lack of sockets is a big issue too . The algae throughout the property is very off putting . We understand this is a tropical environment but we’ve never had this issue on any other travels . We didn’t like the fact the kettle is kept in the cabana outside but due to lack of sockets we couldn’t use it inside . Our pool was unusable , yes this was due to heavy rain but again this area needs tlc . Our bathroom was disappointing- very dated and a little shabby .

The location is remote in the outlying attractions area, the air conditioning has been set very hot, the downside is that the last night there was a hiccup, as far as no hot water bath, of course, the waiter quickly resolved this.

Absolutely everything! A private oasis with everything you need so you don’t even have to leave the premises. 100% true to images and very spacious rooms/outdoor area. Service and food at the restaurant was exceptional, special credit to the chef and kitchen staff! Thank you so much for having us, we will be back!

Wonderful, helpful staff, peaceful, great food and loved our pool villa

We loved our stay at The Bale, the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us and make us feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious and we also had some lunches and a dinner at the Faces restaurant which was also fantastic. As they weren’t super busy the staff were also able to drop us and pick us at local restaurants or beach clubs. We loved our villa and private pool. Very relaxing and peaceful holiday

Our original villa was a little close to the road and because of the Summit that was on in Nusa Dua a little noisy but the staff and manager sorted it straight away for us and upgraded our villa.
