Location was ideal and the interior is luxurious. Quite lovely lobby with a great coffee/restaurant attached.
We booked two room and one was rather small.

Very nice and “old fashioned” hotel with an awesome staff who gave us great service!
The natural pool was dirty and uninviting - should have been cleaned out
4.5
Good location and lovely room.
It did get quite warm in the room

The hotel is in a prime location on Ludwigstrasse in the Partenkirchen area of Garmisch-Partenkirchen; however, there is another Atlas Hotel in the Garmisch area as well. Both hotels have preferential locations.
The staff is beyond any other hotel staff anywhere. The front desk staff is exceptional at their jobs, always helpful, kind and personable.
There is a Sissi Lounge (named after Empress Sissi of Bavaria) with a wonderful piano player; a bar for drinks and coffee and various cakes.
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
The restaurant is exceptional with quality and diversified food. Presentation is elegant and the food is delicious. The wait service is professional and on point.

Great location, Great selection for breakfast
Very dark rooms, looks like the renovated rooms were done on a budget with little attention to detail.
4.5
The views from the room were incredible. Being able to get a panoramic view of the alps from the room was a big plus. The breakfast was incredible, and the setting for the breakfast room was beautiful. The in-house restaurant was very good, and again the interiors of the hotel are very meticulously kept up and are stunning. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating.

We got a free upgrade on the room from a double to 2 single beds for me and my son. The beds were very comfortable. The location is really beautiful. You can step out across the street to two brauerei restaurants and a bakery and you're very close to the shops too. There's a parking garage for €5 a day just 50m away. Very good service and a very unstressful place to be
The heating made a buzzing sound. Just on one night but quite late. There was a skylight in a room with no blind on it which meant you couldn't keep the room dark past dawn. I enjoyed the sauna but it needed a bit more attention - It was a little too hot (according to an experienced sauna user that I met there). However the spa area is very relaxing and spacious .

The staff were helpful , the decoration was beautiful, the breakfast very nice , but my vegan son had limited options. Great bathroom with hot shower
The distance from the restaurants ,shops and ski lifts , the TV was ancient

It is an amazing, beautiful hotel . Felt like we were royalty living in a castle. The desk staff greeted us with champagne and a smile and was so helpful. Reception was extraordinarily nice.

Centrally located, old style hotel, great breakfast and very good food in the restaurant, room with balcony, beautiful sauna and relaxing room, very friendly and helpful staff at the reception, take away breakfast possible
Our drama started already upon entering room. I had bottle of water which I wanted to put in the fridge. When I opened the door I saw take away food of steak with sauer kraut left there. The smell was horrible given that the fridge has been off. I brought it back to the reception as the smell spread in the room and stayed till next day. Our room wasnt serviced properly. Tissues were not refilled neither was coffee capsules. We went for hike early in the morning before breakfast and wanted to have a coffee before which was impossible. Restaurant service very slow. Waited over1h to get main course.
Hotel is amazing but the service requires serious evaluation.

Very friendly welcome and although small I liked the character of the room. Also loved the sauna facility with a beautiful view
I was very disappointed to find on checkout that we had been charged for breakfast because on booking.com it said breakfast was included and iit was the most expensive breakfast of our 5 weeks holiday.

The breakfast was good especially the omelets. They were also very kind and since it was my husband's birthday they made it very special for him.
The rooms were very small. The bed mattress very uncomfortable. All furniture, outdated.
4.5
I simply love the area and this place was right in the middle of everything I needed. I am a true fan of Garmisch without question.
Just like most anywhere else in Germany, finding a "legal" parking spot is horrible.
