Uncomfortable room with high price

The location is good.

The room is very small and even for one person, you feel pretty hard to move in the room. The window is very small and the outside has construction work that is very noisy. They advertise in the booking website that each room has air conditioning but actually no air conditioning in the room is provided. It is scorching in summer. Very uncomfortable experience!

Avoid this hotel! No working air conditioning (even though we booked rooms with A/C), rooms too hot for sleeping, an

Cafe on the lower level, friendly daytime front desk staff member.

We booked 2 rooms with air conditioning and we’re not notified that it was not working. We were offered 2 small fans but one was so loud it couldn’t be used. Rooms were so hot that we couldn’t sleep (and we had been traveling since 4am so we were all exhausted). Also found missing showerhead in 1 of the 2 bathrooms making it unusable. Had to check out in the AM (no manager available on the evening) and lost money on rebooking a new hotel since it’s now the peak summer travel season.

location was amazing and staff unbelievable friendly for this non native French speaker. Excellent communication in English, and room albeit small, was very clean and good for one night in this amazing location.

Exceptional

24/24 open reception. Warm welcome by an helpful staff. Clean and confortable hôtel with large room and bathroom. Very close from subway, gallerie Lafayette and the Opera.

everything was perfect the room and bathroom were spotless I had the superior room which is a bit bigger than the standard room and it was very confortable the staff was very professional and very helpful walking distance to many restaurants

don’t stay in any rooms on the 6th floor.

wild and the moon and the hotel staff was friendly.

they have grown alchemist bottles but the product inside is some generic soap…:( I could not close my closet door, it was narrower than the hangers. the furnace made a lot of noise but the staff shut off my heat so the noise would stop, but that affected the temperature in my room. compared to other hotels in the area, I paid too much for a very small room.

Outstanding location, very nice day time staff, classy room design, comfy bed (love the pillows!). Also, the fruit juices in the lobby were delicious.

I wish the room had slippers, and more ways to hang stuff in the bathroom.

Does not meet expectations

centric hotel

The staff is not very friendly, they gave us the worst room they had. To check in, even if the room is available, we wait until 3:00 p.m., there is no kindly approach with the customer. They treat you like simple tourists. The category of the hotel, I would describe it more as a motel, but at a 4* hotel price.

Disappointed, staff are not cooperative.

My partner left her bag in the room, we called them from the airport when we noticed, that we have a missing bag. They said it’s not in the room. Then what a miracle the bag was found in the room, the hotel contacted us that they find the bag 5days later. we were hapy and we kindly asked them to use the €80 from the bag to send it after us. But then unfortunately they kept the money and claimed that there is nothing in it. :( and they asked more money to post it, what we send it to them so at least we will have the documents back.. We also tried to contact the management to get some info from the person who find the bag, so we can start an investigation with the local authorities, but unfortunately they totally refused to cooperate in anyway. After many emails to convince the management for some sort of cooperation, I’m only ended up robed, without any help, so the last thing I can do, to tell everyone to avoid this hotel. totally disappointing. by the way I have all the mailing and evidence for my statement, nothing is made up or a try to give a bad name of this institute, these are only the facts that happened to us during our stay in Hotel Monsieur Helder Paris. :(

good hotel in a nice location. Xli on a business trip for 1-2 nights, then for one it is quite normal. Bonus - an excellent vegan con cafe in the hotel building. practically at the reception.

The rooms are very modest in size and decoration.

Warm bright high ceiling room, as I was on the 2nd floor. Very spartan however comfortable room. Friendly, welcoming team. Well priced for excellent location.

Small bathroom. Vegan café attached to the hotel is expensive and underwhelming.

Breakfast trouble, smell of mould and uncomfortable bed..

good location

No breakfast restaurant means you can only have breakfast in the room. I stayed two nights, ordered breakfast for both and only the first arrived. When calling reception and having waited 30 min I had to leave without breakfast the second morning. The bathroom and one side of the room smelled of mould. rock hard, wonky bed.
