Very accommodating, and comfortable feeling hotel.

The whole stay went very well! Friendly staff and very clean! And super close to all the things to do and can easily see the sights.

The door leading to the stairwell was loud when it closed every time someone went through it.

Perfect hotel to stay in while exploring Normandy.

A lovely, quiet room to return to after days spent exploring Normandy. The beds was very comfortable and the room was well appointed with a large bathroom. The location is perfect for a walk into the centre of Bayeux via the cathedral.

Superbe hôtel pour séjourner à Bayeux

Chambre spacieuse avec belle vue sur la cathédrale de Bayeux. Secteur très calme. Très propre. Possibilité de régler le chauffage. Très grand lit confortable. Douche à l'italienne récente dans la salle de bains avec double vasque. Beaucoup de place pour les rangements. Un mini frigo qui nous a permis de stocker quelques petites choses à grignoter. Le personnel est très accueillant, souriant et agréable. J'ai été très heureuse de me réveiller avec l'odeur du pain chaud de bon matin !

En arrivant, la chambre était un peu fraîche, il serait intéressant d'augmenter un peu le chauffage en début de journée. Il manquait un sèche-cheveux que j'ai pu récupérer à l'accueil. Je n'ai pas profité du petit déjeuner car j'ai un petit estomac et je ne mange pas beaucoup: j'aurais aimé avoir une option à la carte pour prendre un petit déjeuner moins copieux que les autres.

We would stay here again for the location.

The location is perfect in this small historic town. We walked everywhere except when going and coming from the train station. Most of the rooms were on the first floor in a beautiful old building that has been renovated into a hotel.

Just be aware this building is not airconditioned. Everyone leaves the windows open at nigh t and it cools off but if it is VERY hot, it will be a problem. Breakfast is NOT included in the price but we had a great meal down the street. We didn't wnat to commit to 14 euros each for their breakfast without knowing what would be offered.

Very central location, enough, free parking in the street of the hotel.

It's an older building, so the floors crack a lot, but this can be considered charming as well.

Great location! Totally recoment.

The location couldn't have been better. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

The only thing I would change is have a shower curtain, water got all over the bathroom floor after each shower.

Nice staff.

Cold shower. Unacceptable. Nigjy clerk tried to do something but couldn't help. No apology at check-out and no thought about compensation. Jacked up holiday prices. Super tacky WWII cartoons on the window. In poor taste.

location & parking.

One of the rooms was booked for 3 beds but only had 2,the only reason it was not a problem on the night was that one of our party was unable to travel.The rooms are quite dated,especially the bathrooms,but in fairness were perfectly clean.

Overall, this is a good hotel with nice boutique shops nearby and easy access to the main roads.

The hotel is well-located next to the river and bridge and has a great view of the Hermitage hill. It's perfect for walking around Tournon and Tain Hermitage.

It was a little noisy after midnight with groups of loud people hanging out in front of the hotel.

Wide variety for breakfast. Close to all major attractions. Great town for walking and relaxing in the French countryside. I would recommend this location for a base of operation for day trips

Great location

This hotel is in the perfect location walking distance to the main streets . Check in girl was lovely and we parked out car out the back of the hotel for extra 15 euro. Room was quite large . Breakfast was so good even had hot options we dont see in French hotels.

We could hear the noise from other rooms and the beds were super hard. I like a hard bed but gosh these were super hard !

Great value, friendly staff and a superb location in walking distance from the station.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great value at a great location. Room was cleaned daily, almost excessively, with new towels provided and a change of sheets at least one of the days. Cannot be more happy with the cleanliness. Airconditioning worked well, and window allowed for venting (did not try to open it fully). Hotel was locked upon our arrival in early evening, but the receptionist was just a phone call away, turned up expeditiously, and gave us information about Bayeux and walked us up to our room. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

While I found the firmer pillows excellent, my travel partner found them a little too hard. We tried the breakfast at the hotel one day, but it was cake heavy, white bread only and also included cold pizza slices. We were hoping for a croissant, but the croissants had been fully consumed by a group before we showed up. No warm dishes prepared, but eggs and bacon were available upon request. An item to be aware of in the rooms is that the WC flushing pressure is rather low. The interior is dated, but cozy.
