The property was incredible. The location is stunning with the most incredible views of the waterfalls. The hotel provided easy access to everywhere and is the perfect location. The staff was so lovely, really helpful and always happy. Nellie needs a special mention as she greeted us like old friends, nothing was ever too much trouble and she was an absolute joy to get to know.
Loved everything

Location. Lauterbrunnen up there as the most beautiful place in the world. Spectacular. Hotel room was very good but not the "good" view. A bit of confusion about how many nights we booked for but all got sorted. Cafe downstairs was good.
Seemed like the hotel and the building in which it was located were separate enterprises?? Pricey, but then again it is Switzerland.

Location location location.. the hotel staff was very polite
Room facilities. The room a bit small than expect. The ceiling is too shallow and overall facilities is super basic.

The location was fine. Surrounded by mountains and waterfalls.
No air conditioning had to leave the single window open to cool the room down. If this was more closer to summertime it would have been horrible. the room had limited electrical to only one side of the bedroom. Hotel food service was not as accommodating as others and food served seem more like frozen dinners served on a plate tough and mostly tasteless. Had dinners elsewhere afterwards.

Pleasant stay with staff being very helpful.
The hairdryer in the room did not work, but other than that everything was good

great location, helpful staff, clean room.
would have loved to have our balcony door open or sit on the balcony but neighbor below us smoked. 😏

The only positive quality was the location. NOBODY SHOULD EVER STAY HERE!!!!
It was infested with bed bugs. There were zero staff, the front desk man Mike was extremely rude and condescending (even though I also speak German pretty well). My wife and I had to leave a night early because it was disgusting and we found bed bugs and I had taken a few bites. We finally found a staff and attempted to appropriately get our money back.
When I went with my wife to talk to the staff about our issue and a request for our money back he said that it was normal to have bed bugs and offered we stay in a different room.. (the room he offered was a supply closet)
I told him absolutely not, bed bugs are a health hazard to both of our medical conditions and no care was taken for us whatsoever.
We left to try and find a safe hotel and decided to return our key because we realized nobody was going to give us our money. We tried to return to our room to check that we had all of our belongings before leaving and they had already set 3 bug bombs and began to fumigate. Our lungs were in very rough shape from this stay. It took us days to recover.
ALL of the hotel staff that were left had fled and there were still guests that were staying in the areas that were being fumigated without notice or warning.
I fear they got infected worse than we did. We felt completely helpless.
THIS WAS APART OF OUR HONEYMOON!!!! And we had informed the desk manager upon check in. All they care about is making money, not the safety and well being of their guests.
PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
P.S. - Lauterbrunnen and the surrounding areas are some of the most amazing wonders of natural creation and beauty and this is no reflection upon beautiful Switzerland or it’s people.

Location was good
Hotel was VERY old and didn't look like the pictures at all and was not value for money. Shower was terrible, shower head wasn't tall enough for anyone to shower under. We were told hotel is now foreign owned and no longer family owned and you can tell. Paint peeling from ceiling, carpets coming up, bed linen & towels were old and rough.

great location for trains, restaurants & Jungfrau region. staff were very helpful & friendly
rooms were very old & didn’t look like photos on bookings.com

location was good.
The entire hotel is under construction and the restaurant was closed. We arrived and had to search for nearly 30 min to find an employee to check in our luggage. We then had to wait and search for an employee to check in. Our room was bare bones with one small picture on the wall smelling like paint from the construction. It was nothing like advertised.

The location is lovely, that's the only thing this hotel has going for it.
Although this hotel was one of the cheapest options, it wasn't exactly "cheap" and for the money I would expect more. The bedding was bobbly, the room was tiny!, you had to pay for wifi, staff were never on reception, you couldn't check in until rather late, after 4pm I think it was and you had to check out by 10am. The hotel stinks of fried food from the restaurant downstairs.

ask for a cup of hot water and charged at 4.50chf😥🥲

Location.. that’s about it
This is not a hotel.. more like an airbnb but with a poorly communicating host.. we checked in, stayed overnight & were about to leave without meeting any of the hotel staff.. there’s a restaurant in the hotel that offered to store our luggage, give us the keys to the room etc but made it very clear that they are not affiliated with the hotel

it was well located and the rooms were pretty big.
The wifi didn’t work properly.
2.5
Only the location of the hotel is good
The size of the room is very small, no space to move comfortably in the bathroom. The beds are super squeaky and not at all comfortable. Very costly for what is provided. Does not match online photos’ expectations.

very good view
the reception staff should learn more english, but it wasn’t bad

Free parking and great location! Coop grocery store/rail+bus station/waterfall within walking distance.
Did not eat the breakfast, staff recommended a restaurant nearby that was really great and same price as hotel. We are a family of 5 and requested two rooms near each other. Neither of which were pictured when booking. They were attic rooms- which in europe if fairly common but I wish I knew so I could request a different room. One of them was roomy with a great view while the other was much smaller, and with a shower in front of a window with a sheer curtain. Not a very great idea when you can see everything at night.
No AC- normal for europe and no mini fridge/kitchenette
