Sehr gutes Hotel

Die Lage ist Hervorragend und die Zimmer sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Hotel sehr sauber, die Betten bequem. Es gab 2 Kissen pro Person und 2 Kuscheldecken dazu. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter und jeden Morgen leckere Croissants, Kaffee und Tee als Morgengruß.

Uns hat es gut gefallen, wir haben nichts zu meckern.

Top Unterkunft, top Lage!

Sehr gut gelegene Unterkunft, sehr zentral, sowohl die S-Bahn (nur die Straße überqueren), als auch U-Bahn sind innerhalb von wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Ein Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage (nach Reservierung und für 10€ pro Tag) ist auch vorhanden! Flexibler Check-in durch automatisiertes System! Das nächste Mal kommen wir auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder! Ausstattung: Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen tollen Aufenthalt braucht :)

Wenn es etwas zu meckern gäbe ('Meckern auf hohem Niveau'), dann nur, dass die Matratze evtl. demnächst mal ausgetauscht werden könnte, da schon was durchgelegen.

Convenient and comfortable. Recommend for a short city break

It was very clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location was very convenient, right next to the S bahn station and 10 minutes walk to the city centre

It is located in the Catholic Academy. There is no proper reception or a lobby. Feels like staying in a dormitory.

A bigger bed would make it much better

Location and parking. Check in with the key-locker was very convenient. Everything very clean.

The bed was too small even for a single person. The head of the bed on beside the door of the room produces a strange feeling of that someone can enter the room and you don't see it coming. The breakfast available was only coffee/tea and and croissant (but it was for free :-). The room was a bit old-fashioned.

Very pleasant stay - highly recommended for anyone who likes simple, clean and comfortable accomodat

Restaurant Buon Giorno around the corner is amazing - best food ever.

Badly let down by driver who was supposed to meet us. Otherwise everything was excellent

An ideal place to stay in central Hamburg.

Very quiet neighborhood about 200 feet from the S-bahn and two stations away from the central train station. Lots of restaurants about one block away. While the rooms were simple there was exceptional value.

Small deficiencies include no early checkin. Coffee and croissonts were available in the morning. On checkout they ask for payment of the city tax in cash; this was only 12 Euros for our three night stay however.

It's not a hotel, but it's a very good place to live if you are in town. Highly recommended

Great location near city centre, the dock area and St Pauli, and good for public transport. Also in what is itself a very nice neighbourhood for strolling around. The place itself is very quiet - given the nature of the building, it's hardly surprising it doesn't feel like a hotel. Highly recommended.

Wonderful, small hotel with excellent prices and service.

Staff was very communicative and my stay could not have gone better. Hands down I would stay here again when visiting Hamburg, and have already recommended it to a friend.

Excellent Location at the Heart of Hamburg

The location was excellent. There is an S1 bahn station just by the hotel. Travelling to/from the airport is very easy. Reeperbahn and Rathaus is within walking distance.

Very good

Fine and clean room with all needed.

Would have been great with a small cafe/bistro/restaurant/bar... but lots in the neighbourhood, so not a big issue.

Great stay!

The room and location were great. Everything was like mentioned. Great contact and good help. The personnel was exceptional. Really would recommend this hotel!

The worst experience I had with Booking.vom

It was late in the night and the recepcionist let me outside the hotel with my 70 years old mom. Didn't let us even entering the looby because there was a mistake on the booking day. He was really rude and didn't try to help letting us outside the hotel talking to us just by a phone which he answered once and didnt pick it up second time. We could see him there inside not willing to answer. No one deserves this kind of treatment and we were treating him with respect we just wanted to check if there was a room avaliable for that night and if he could change our checkin date. He didn't try to help and treated us with a lot anger, screaming at the phone to us. I had to book another hotel and couldn't get any help from the hotel to get a refund or from booking.com So I had payed 2 hotels at same day on my name.

Great place to stay!

My double bed was super comfortable, room was neat and clean, bathroom is private and clean. I do like their key system so there is no line or waiting around to check in. Just put my PIN number in the metal boxes outside the front entrance and got my keys. Location is great, right near Hamburg city center. There is also a train station across the street.

There was only one shampoo/soap and small scrub towels in the shower. I did not bring conditioner for my hair, but that is not a big deal. It just caught me off guard.

Comfortable stay near major Hamburg attractions

My partner and I loved our stay at Michaelis Hof. It has great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, and tasty coffee & croissant for breakfast. Would stay again and recommend other travelers for comfortable stay close to all major Hamburg attractions.

Our room's windows were facing Ludwig-Erhard-Straße, and street traffic was a bit loud in the night (we slept with open windows).
