The resort is beautiful, the staff was excellent . Be prepared to walk long distances from parking to your room., all outdoors. When the weather is nice, this is fine, but in 100° heat it was sweltering.
We were very surprised that for a resort of this size and price, there was not a whole filtration system for the water. We had to bring our own water in, or boil the tapwater for use. rather inconvenient, and quite a ways to Howlette in from parking.

The staff at the Westin was amazing! So kind and warm. Each person you speak to is cheerful and happy to help. They made the stay welcoming and accommodating!
The food fell a bit short for our 3 night stay. I really appreciated the market with the snack and food options available to take to your room or heat up in the microwave. However, the other food at the actual restaraunt was alright… I ordered chicken, steak, pasta, etc., wouldn’t say it was great.

staff and service were great! The beach was absolutely gorgeous. Good food and drinks at the bars.
It felt very empty even though they were apparently sold out. Restaurants were all very much alike. no character or originality.

The team around beachside including pool and restaurants were excellent - in particular Axel and Marco as entertainment hosts and Mario and Riccardo in general. They should be asked to train the reception team! The food was really good and service excellent also.
Our arrival was very poor - reception is so far from the hotel itself that they seem completely out of touch. The reception manager gave us the worst 2 bed villa 'with ocean view' in the entire hotel (almost lower ground floor) and then claimed to be full so not able to move us - until I pointed out I was on my laptop looking at available rooms on their website! Even then it took 5 hours - until 9.30 pm - and a huge amount of effort to be moved to a decent room - a real shame with young children....

Extremely clean, well maintained grounds, flexible housekeeping staff. The ocean view was outstanding. Baja Pointe restaurant is a must. The layout of the pools and friendly/helpful staff.
No bathrooms close to the pool area, we had to walk up the stairs several times while enjoying the relaxing pool. Restaurant prices were a bit a high.
Be prepared to walk up and down stairs if you plan yo enjoy the pools.

Cockroaches everywhere!!
No cleaning of the room and they didn’t change the pillow covers

that it was clean and not a ton of people there. Everyone was pleasant.
the food could be better . wanted more of the authentic Mexican food and not so Americanized .. like the steak tacos , they use flank steak. Also the hot water in the rooms were not hot as they should be .

I like almost everything, our room was nice and clean, staff are helpful, I wish they have a mini bar around pool area that would be perfect…I commend it ..
What I didn’t like…..Nothing..It was almost perfect..

Clean hotel and comfortable. Nice view and nice pool. Staff very friendly.
No housecleaning. Very loud, walls are thin, heard upstairs people. Food at the cafe restaurant was awful. Can't swim in the ocean, too rough.

More selection of food, but understandable with Covid issues
