The staff were very attentive and super helpful. The outdoor fresh water swimming pool and pool area was fantastic. Eating breakfast on the beautiful sunny terraced area was the highlight.

Lovely family feel hotel. We really enjoyed the stay at hotel Martha. the breakfast was lovely and staff welcoming. sauna area was great after a long day of skiing. we are keen to return! the walk up the steep hill to the number 7 slope for the ski out was tough in ski boots but ski in via the same slope was good. 15-20 minute walk down to the centre of zell. thank you!

Definitely not a 4* hotel, from outdated facilities to very rude and unhelpful hotel management. They will take your money but will not make anything to make sure that you are having a good time. Beds are making terrible noises every time you turn around in your sleep, to the level that our baby girl that was sleeping in a baby bed in the same room, woke up when we tried to sit (!) on the bed. We were literally afraid to sit on the bed or turn around so that we would not wake her up. Also in the restroom there is an automatic light that is turning on when you enter the bathroom and it caused our baby girl to wake-up. Really a terrible room (301) for children. Never in my life have I seen this level of rudeness from any hotel management. We booked initially with Boutique hotel Martha for 2 nights for the period 15-17.09.2022 (booking.com price 293€). On top, they told us that they will charge 20€ for a baby bed (for most hotels this is complimentary). Due to a family emergency, we had to reschedule to 30.09-02.10 (booking.com price 272€). They charged us 40€ for the change, despite the fact that the rates via booking.com were lower compared to when we booked initially (272€ vs 293€). We tried explaining to hotel management that this is unfair, but they did not care. They had already charged us 255€ from the initial 293€, they had our money, so they did not care. I did not expect a lower rate, but at least I would not expect an extra charge for changing to a lower season period. I tried finding this charge in their policy and I could not find it. Next, they contacted us to tell us that we are getting a “free upgrade” to their sister hotel “Der Schmittenhof” as they were closing Martha due to lack of reservations. We did not have any options here but to accept or change our holiday to 15.10. Apparently Der Scmittenhof had more facilities (!?

it was just wonderful! we enjoyed every minute of our stay. beautiful hotel, stunningly decorated swimming pool with a divine Mountain View. very caring staff. every inch of the hotel and garden is decorated with great love and imagination. excellent breakfasts with a large selection of dishes, including local cheeses, sausages, vegetables from own garden and other fresh products. do not miss the chance to dine - the restaurant's cuisine is simply amazing

very good breakfast, very beautiful natural swimming pool with enough and nice sun loungers, free towels and very kind staff
room was small, (television) sound from other adjoining room was disruptive and also the shower cabin was very small.

very good breakfast, interest menu. Interest decorations of territory.
Very noise, no ventilation in the room, insects in the room.
Very small shower cabin.

Amazing! All the staff was extremely welcoming and nice; the pool and the area around are like in a 4-5 * hotel and not 3*, room was small but clean, breakfast awesome, plenty of choice. Restaurant a bit more expensive but OMG the fish we had was the best ever so it’s definitely worth it. Wellness - great. The hotel is very close to the lift - maybe 1km so walking distance. If I ever come back to Zell am See in the summer, it will be in this hotel!
Rooms a bit small and getting older, but clean, and bed too soft but it’s usually the case in Austria.

Extremely friendly staff, greenery all around the property, IG-able scenery everywhere you turn and look, and last but not least, a great restaurant that serves trully delicious food and really good breakfast

Nice location, spacious parking, great pool and very nice breakfast.
In summer the room with windows to the street was a bit noisy in the morning as the windows was open.

Great breakfast and loved our stay
Room downstairs was noisy in restaurant opening hours and when breakfast was being prepared.
4.5
- Location was great for skiing and for going into town for dinner
- Super soft duvets! :)
- Beautiful view from balcony
- Quiet area
- Spa was nice, it had two saunas which were good for relaxing the muscles after a day of skiing (no jacuzzi or steam rooms though)
- Good breakfast
- Homely feel
- Buses for skiing can be quite full in the mornings and the Martha bus stop is one of the last stops before the trassXpress gondolas. If you’re unlucky you might have to wait 20mins for a bus.

Super friendly and helpful owners and team. When they couldn't find a taxi service for an early morning departure, they drove us themselves. Beautiful property, especially the dining room and bar. The ski in-ski out from the #7 trail was a great touch too. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a small balcony looking down the valley onto the lake. The sauna and wellness area looked brand new and were flawless. The breakfast was fantastic, and the meals at Flo's were absolutely outstanding - hands down the best food in Zell. Can't recommend the hotel highly enough.
That we had to leave.

Very cosy and fairy-tale like, this hotel was a great place to relax and rest after all-day skiing.
