Nautilus Hotel review - 3 friends

Breakfast was €5 but had a wide variety of options (mostly pastries). The room was big and felt secure. Very nice pizza restaurant opposite. Lots of sockets, aircon, fridge etc however having now stayed in several places this might be standard (these were still upper end of these places). Room was easy to keep cool. The staff was very helpful and accommodating letting us check in late due to a train strike and tricky transport. The room came with 2 complementary bottles of water which might not sound like much but was very appreciated. All questions were answered, the beds were very comfortable and the washing facilities were fairly good.

There were only 2 issues with this hotel but they aren't major. First is it was difficult to find as there is lots of building work being done to it and so the scaffolding made the sign difficult to find and so know that this was indeed the correct place. Secondly 2 silverfish were found in the bathroom but were quickly and easily disposed of.

Very good

Very clean and tidy room with a good shower. Rosanna very helpful. Fridge in the room and air conditioning were very welcome during the heatwave. Breakfast good. Don't be put off by the location as it's quiet and just a short walk into the pretty part of La Spezia

The hotel exterior is undergoing renovation and is covered in scaffolding which detracted from the view from our small balcony!

The walls are thin so if other visitors speak loudly, you will listen everything and be bothered but during my trip, all was good.

contruction outside(cannot open light shed) breakfast was not well prepared(so skipped) but manager still offer free coffee(good espresso)

This is my second time in a row. I love this hotel so much 😍. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is close to the port. There are 2 big supermarkets near the hotel. The bus station is 2 min walking. Everything is great. Greetings and hope to see you again 😊

A great budget accommodation as a gateway to Cinque Terre

Our room was clean, spacious and cosy, much nicer than we expected considering we opted for a budget accommodation. Staff was friendly and we managed to check-in quite late (22:30). Nice spacious bathroom, good air conditioning and complementary water/tea with the option of using the minifridge to cool our own drinks. Perfect stay if you are planning to visit La Spezia or surrounding villages.

No complaints at all, the accommodation was more than we hoped for!

Very good hotel for this price, maybe even the best. The room is always clean, cleaning every day, new linen, towels and boteled water. Very close to the promenade and transport stops. The entire staff is very kind and will always answer any questions and help.

Very nice, silent and clean stay. We were accomodated in a room at the hotel a acrose the street to hotel ca’ dei Costa. I can only recommend.

The city, the location, the stuff were very friendly although they do not speak English. I highly recommend it to those people who miss the old days of simplicity.

Not worth the money

The bathroom could have been more clean The rooms could have been bigger The sheets were not neat and tidy The coffee shampoo body wash was not replaced after the first day There was hair everywhere in bathroom also used tissues The bathroom also stinks and was nasty
