Magnifique situation avec vue sur la campagne. Très bel hôtel

L emplacement, la sublime vue sur les champs d oliviers et la beauté des terrasses, de la Piscine et des bâtiments rénovés.

Restaurant avec un mauvais rapport qualité/prix L emplacement, le charme de l endroit et la vue se paie, dommage que l enchantement ne se retrouve pas dans l assiette

Het uitzicht

De oprijlaan en foto’s wekte een bepaalde verwachting, maar het ontvangst was moeilijk te vinden. Toen we om badhanddoeken vroegen, werden we aan ons lot overgelaten. Het eten was ronduit schandalig: slecht avondeten, de wijn veroorzaakte hoofdpijn, de rekening was duur en het ontbijt was ook teleurstellend. Het was absoluut de €150 per nacht niet waard. We begrijpen de 8,8 score op Booking.com niet. Daarnaast waren er diverse mankementen: de wasbak zat los, de kamers waren gehorig waardoor we de buren konden horen praten, en douchen in een bad was onpraktisch.

Nella camera erano presente diverse cimici, ovviamente essendo in mezzo alla natura capiamo e non è un problema più di tanto.

Séjour dans la campagne Toscane

Magnifique résidence avec un passé historique … l hôtel pratiquement pour nous … nous étions très peu … hôtel retiré dans la campagne toscane … le réceptionniste très sympathique… petit déjeuner parfait

Malgré le peu de clients dans cette immense bâtisse nous avions des voisins Danois très bruyants , dommage 😱 … remontée d odeurs dans la salle de bain par les canalisations… arrivés en fin de saison le personnel réduit les lits mal faits … rien n est indiqué que les serviettes de bains doivent être déposées au sol pour être changées

Beautiful vacation in Tuscany

Everything. Location, staff, room, pool. We had wonderful time and we will come back. The owner told us about the history of the villa and I bought some olive oil and wine from own production. Infinity pool set in beautiful location. Tasty breakfast. My kids and I, we had wonderful time. Thank you. :)

Lucca Retreat

Fabulous infinity pool. Great location for Lucca but still very much in the Garfagnana countryside. We'll be going back.

Covid and the interminable Italian recession has taken its toll. Restaurant wasn't really fully open but breakfast was lovely. Great views from the dining terrace.

We really liked staying at Villa Volpi - it is a great location in a beautiful setting.

A great room and we requested a terrace and ours was excellent and we used it all the time. The swimming pool is an infinity pool and was beautiful. The property was beautifully renovated and our bathroom was excellent.

Dinner was a little lacking as the menu was limited.

They could have tied up the drinks from the outside tables from the night before quicker - just thought this was odd.

Beautiful landscape, building and pool.

Expensive/little breakfast (15€ for a coffee, juice and croissant!!) und slow/very unpolite staff (specially at breakfast). Huge advice: Double-Check the bill when you checkout, because mine was totally wrong!

Perfect Tuscany experience

Everything was beautiful, the pool, the room, the location, really what we expected from a villa in Tuscany. I would really advise this hotel to my friends

The property is an old nunnery with lots of charme. Wonderful scenery as it’s placed in between olive trees, cypress and wine.

The too moderate rating of the property on booking. The place is awesome and definitely a must stay if you’re going to visit Lucca. Also the owner and his family is very friendly and charming.
