Preis/Leistung passen nicht

Die Bilder im Internet entsprechen nicht der Realität. Frühstück war von der Auswahl OK, was nicht in Ordnung war, dass eine vergammelte Apfelsine sowie eine matchige Kiwi angeboten wurden. Außerdem war unser Zimmer sehr hellhörig.

Colazione abbondante e personale gentile, pulizia

Struttura un po' datata. Non presente il box doccia pertanto Il bagno dopo ogni doccia era impraticabile in quanto allagato. L' acqua arrivata fino in stanza. Richiesto il cambio stanza al primo giorno senza riscontro ( prenotazioni di due notti).

Buona colazione. La recensione è legata al rapporto qualità prezzo, con un prezzo inferiore la valutazione si sarebbe alzata.

Al momento della prenotazione ho chiesto informazioni sulla via da percorrere per raggiungere il centro città e mi è stato risposto che era agevole e sicura. La strada è di circa 1.7 km ed è tutta in salita, senza marciapiede, di fianco ad una strada al alta percorrenza a due corsie. Cuscini bassissimi, infissi delle finestre che non isolano dai rumori della strada, struttura da ritoccare. Prima di poter lasciare l'auto nel parcheggio bisogna effettuare il check-in. Colazione gluten free poco fornita

Favorite hotel out of 7 we stayed in during our trip to Italy.

Every person on the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They had detailed answers to every question I asked about the area, what to do, where to go, etc. Fantastic stay at La Colonna.

Superb

Small and cozy hotel located just outside the centre of Siena. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. It was nice to go for a quick swim in the cozy backyard of the hotel. The breakfast is really nice for it’s price and in general it’s a good deal to stay a night or two here.

Nice pool but outside the city

Lovely pool

It was not very close to the centre about 30 mins walk on a road which was unsafe (too many cars). Or a bus for 10 mins (but watch out the bus finishes at 8.45pm so you can’t really have dinner in Siena).

Disappointing

Staff so helpful. Clean. A.C. ok. Room too small if you stay more than 1 night. Lobby area is terrible ,2 couches so old and not comfy. Food good but not enough meats cheese or bread. Pool area well kept. Bus to city outside door very handy.Would we stay again for more than 1 night. Sorry but No. Thanks staff ye were all lovely.

Graet location easy bus ride to city, staff all really pleasant. Pòol was teally nice. Stayed an extra night it was so good.

Only down side fridge in the room wasn't working.

Great stay!

The room was as expected. The pool was very clean and well equipped with "tan chairs". The breakfast was great: good choice, very fresh and the waitress was really nice and professional. The lady at the reception was so nice and helpful, we had such a pleasant welcome. Everything was very well explained, including a map where she explained how to get to the city and the main points to visit. Thank you so much!

Exceptional

The Hotel was Super clean, easily accessible (right next to the bus station), has a supermarket next door. The room was spacious and comfy... has acceptable soundproofing. But the best of all was the host Stefania, she was extremely helpful with eagerness to support by any means while always smiling.

A throwback to motels of the early 90s, in the worst possible way

The staff at the hotel was pleasant and informative. With regards to the facilities themselves, the shower pressure was dreamy, which is ideal after a day of touring.

The room was dark and very 'retro'. You couldn't really open the curtains/shutters because the road the hotel is essentially a four-lane motorway so it's super loud, even with the window closed. Essentially, this leaves you sitting in semi-darkness with horrible artificial lighting. As indicated in the description, there is indeed a bus stop right outside, but the bus stops running at about 20h30 so not convenient in a city where dinner doesn't usually begin until 20h. Walking back is an option, but there isn't pavement the whole way and you're essentially walking on the hard shoulder of a big road. It's just not worth it. The photos of the garden and pool were clearly taken in better days.

I wouldn't stay at this hotel in the future

This hotel was opportunist and didn't allow for a necessary change in the booking 3 days ahead of the change requested, just to keep the pay amount as is!

Customer service - off the charts. A wonderful pool. Air conditioning. Fabulous breakfast. Great location

Superb

Easy to hop into town. Large rooms nice bathrooms. Loved long open hours on pool. Pool and solaruum were great. AC worked well.

Hotel nicely located 1 minute from the bus station to the center of Siena. Good place if you just want to sleep over and spend most of the time sightseeing. Quite tasty breakfast but not fantastic. Reception was very helpful when it comes to activities in Siena.

You better not choose the room from the side of the street as there is huge trafic. Despite closed windows, the noise was very disturbing from the early morning. Payment rules are confusing, be prepared that beside the normal payment, the hotel will on top blocked approx. 40% of the fee on your card about week before the stay, keep it for nearly 2 weeks after and still claim that they have just closed the preauthorization. After the end of the stay, communication with the hotel is a bit difficult, even via booking.com

Comfortable and pleasant stay

Surprisingly, the room with a view to the pool was very quiet. Good air conditioning. Close to a bus station. Good and available parking (for a small sum)
