Exceptional staff, would help anyway they could and go above and beyond. Helping us plan activities, and always making sure we ha everything we needed. The Food was absolutely amazing with views you would only dream of. Was a perfect place to stay for our honeymoon. We can't wait to go back!!!
Laundry service is not onsite and expensive.

A gorgeous boutique hotel just north of Sienna, with wonderful staff, a relaxing pool scene, and fantastic breakfast & dinner. We loved every detail about this charming little spot.
We spent 5 nights here and visited Florence, Sienna, Radda and Greve, among others. This hotel is in a great location to access all of Tuscany’s gems, while feeling quiet and removed, in its own pocket of paradise.
Breakfasts were full of quality food and lots of choice. Even a glass of bubbly rose to wash it down. Dinners on the sunset terrace were very beautiful and full of tasty menu choices. So many wonderful memories made here, thank you!!

Amazing location and view on the winery!!

perfect location, wonderful staff, lovely views of countryside, beautifully presented food, breakfast excellent lots of choice, crystal clear pool to relax around, superb local wines. a place full of character, not at all corporate. Unique.
very close to road, and the road noise briefly spoils the ambient peace of the countryside during the day, but no road noise overnight

What an amazing place! Nestled in the beautiful tuscan countryside, Hotel Belvedere offers both peace and quiet, and proximity to beautiful cities such as Florence and Sienna, and the cutest tuscan towns. We walked a picture-perfect path to Castellina in Chianti from the hotel to get a croissant and an expresso. the Hotel itself is ‘’enchanteur’’ with all the amenities of a large hotel: pool, spa, high-quality restaurant. We took a cooking class with the chef which nit only showed us how to make fresh bruschetta, pasta and tiramisu, but which gave us a little bit of Tuscany to bring home as we will certainly try those cooking techniques back home.

The property is absolutely beautiful! Our room was charming and had a view of the vineyards. The property is meticulously maintained and the landscaping and flowers were stunning.
Wonderful outside terrace for drinks before dinner.
We had dinner all 3 nights at Il Cortile and the menu was fabulous. We met other travelers there at dinner and it was enjoyable. It is a little off the beaten path and if you don’t have a car, you need taxi service. The staff was accommodating in helping us book taxi rides to Siena train station.
Breakfast was delicious.

Superb evening meal at night, we went with the set menu, great value for E35 each & I had to refuse desert as I was sufficiently full. Wine was great value & we had a glass or 2 earlier in the evening in the very comfortable lounge area after our swim in the pool. Breakfast could be taken either outdoors or indoors with a great selection of meats, cakes & hot food also. A memorable last night in Chianti & would highly recommend this hotel for a stay of 1 night or longer.

Delicious breakfast with lots of food choice and the outdoor breakfast area has a magnificent view. Great location, reachable by car, lovely view, great to spend vacation. Very friendly staff, they allowed us to check in late (at about 23.00).
The bed was a bit short, so the legs were out of the bed, and we're not that tall (1.70 m and 1.85 m). Else, the bed is comfortable.

Evening meals quite expensive, as was wine.

authentic Tuscan feel with modern hotel facilities! excellent food and hospitable staff to go with it! lots of wine variety and recommendations from the staff!
loved every minute of the stay!
bathrooms could have been bigger and could have had more bathroom amenities.

Beautiful surroundings, with hills and vineyards, very nice garden and pool.
Very good breakfast.
High quality, natural soap and shampoo.
The hotel has one major flaw: it is located too close to the road with cars passing by quite frequently. In a place like this one would like to enjoy just the nature and not be disturbed by the noise of cars.

Wonderful hotel in the middle of Chianti and I can not believe it's so cheap. It's happened to be my birthday and I got an upgraded room with a direct pool view. But I think the other rooms will be just fine as it's overall well designed and well maintained. I will recommend all my friends this hotel.
Nothing, everything is perfect

The location, the food, the service, and the facility.
I personally found the bed/pillows uncomfortable. Additionally during the night it was audible noises of water (dripping water, like when a toilet leaks water) behind the wall. I don’t know if it was coming from another room or from outside. The room was the 31.

Everything was fine. The room was very clean, the breakfast very good. Also the dinner at night left nothing to desire.
The Hotel is very well situated to a lot of beautiful places in Tuscany and even though it is directly at a Strada Provinciale (which makes travel by car very easy), the small amount of traffic does not distract the place.
The building is very nice and dates back to 1791, has a wonderful view over the landscape and also a very nice pool.
if any....the weak wifi

True Tuscan experience with free wine tasting and the sweetest staff who organised a cake for my birthday and even gave me a little birthday present!
The hotel is beautiful with little spots to just sit and relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. The pool is also stunning. The rooms are also big and spacious and have a cute rustic cottage style

It was a beautiful property and location in the Chianti hills. The pool and terrace all had wonderful views of the vineyards and rolling hills...like a movie set. The restaurant was actually really great, which was very helpful since it is out in the countryside. It was very close to San Gimignano and Siena which made day trips very approachable. It definitely catered to foreigners looking for a luxury style experience, which was a nice change from some of the smaller/homier places we've stayed but it also did not break the bank. The restaurant was pricier than a traditional trattoria but the food and presentation and wait staff were very deserving of the extra couple euros each dish cost...it was really exceptional. Also being available on site meant we could taste as many of the Tuscan wines as we wanted without needing a DD
While the wait staff and those working in the restaurant exceeded expectations, the front desk experience was perfectly amicable. We had booked this trip pre-COVID and when cancelled, all of our other hotels instantly gave us credit for a future stay, even with non-refundable stays. It was not so straightforward with Belvedere di San Leonino. They eventually allowed us a credit for a future stay (due to booking.com getting involved on our behalf), but it took a lot of convincing and actually quite a bit of legwork and emails with the property, none of which were very pleasant. In the end, we appreciated they allowed us to rebook for our future stay when they were within their right not to, so overall this place is still a 10/10 and would definitely recommend with the one caveat that they may not be willing to be very flexible as some other resorts.

Beautiful views of the vineyards, such a feeling of space. Great breakfast outside on the front terrace and supper whilst watching the sun set with a varied menu and wonderful well priced wines. It doesn't get much better than this.
