About this house rental
Located in what was once Villore’s granary, apartment Granaio’s most outstanding feature is its beautifully furnished living room with fireplace, a large dining area, perfect for long evenings of entertaining with friends or family, and a dependence with a double bed. A kitchen, double bedroom, bathroom and a children’s bedroom complete the accommodations. Outdoor private area with armchairs, table, chairs and umbrella.
- Thanks to a careful restructuring, the Casale di Villore has remained intact over time. The interior design and rustic exterior combine in perfect harmony with the surrounding countryside. Looking from the windows of the old tower it is clear how the panorama is as it was in the past and the spirit of "old" Tuscany is still there waiting for it to be rediscovered by anyone who spends a holiday period at the Casale.
The village is divided into six apartments of different sizes but can also be rented as a private villa in its entirety. If rented separately, each apartment will have its own entrance, bedrooms, bathrooms, and private kitchen and customers will only share the outdoor spaces, including the swimming pool, with the other guests.
While, rented as a villa, customers will have the opportunity to enjoy the entire property privately and fully enjoy a holiday of relaxation and total independence. In this case the Sangioveto, Prugnolo, Cardisco and Morellino apartments will be unified with each other (with internal doors) and the entire farmhouse can accommodate up to 16 people.
All the apartments, and therefore the villa, have been furnished with great care by the owner, combining the old family furniture with original pieces of modern furniture.

Absolutely perfect
This is just the most perfect getaway! The house is simple, peaceful, and comfortable. The grounds are well kept, along with a great view of the countryside. We relaxed, played, watched the sunset, swam in the pool, enjoyed long lunches... Wonderful staff, everything great! I want to come back and spent a month someday. :)

Exceptional hillside property!
What is to be said of Villore that has not been said and reviewed before. Well, maybe this. We have been fortunate to travel many years and miles in Italy and we have never found such a complete, well kept and beautifully detailed property in all our travels. As with most things in Italy, your patience is rewarded. Finding the "right turn-off" and the "right back road" are always a challenge. However, Antonio, the gracious owner, met us near the highway and shepherded us through those backroads to his "estate on the hill", a place of well deserved pride. Located centrally between Firenze and Siena, guests can travels literally in all directions to encounter whatever their "Italian dreams" maybe for that day, hill town or city, Montepulciano or Frienze or even Orvieto, all within an easy day.
The design, accommodations, decor and grounds are done with a degree of detail we have never encountered anywhere. Everything in its place, a place for everything. Our only regret was not planning a longer stay, but now we know better for the next time. Villore is THE PLACE where a couple, family and extended family could easily locate for a 2 week stay and never be bored. Well, OK, maybe the occasional teenager..............You can spend more money, but you will not find better.
Grazie Antonio per la tua ospitalità, speriamo di rivederti presto!
Warm regards, Richard+Ann

Beautiful and peaceful Tuscan retreat
My friend and I stayed here for four nights recently and had a wonderful time. Located on a hill overlooking the beautiful Tuscan hill side (and hill towns), it was a treat to wake up and have coffee on the patio every morning. We stayed in the separate apartment and had more than enough room for two. It was near the end of our 2 1/2 weeks in northern Italy and we took advantage of the kitchen and had leisurely breakfasts and dinner. The location is ideal for visiting hill towns. Highly recommend Montalcino, the home of delicious Brunello wine. Took the bus into Florence from Poggibonsi for the day and that worked out fine. Don't take the train. Take note, no shampoo or soap. We also bought paper towels, napkins in Poggibonsi. A small inconvenience and more than balanced by the beauty of this rental. Also Antonio was most gracious throughout.

We can’t wait to return to the beautiful Casale di Villore! Perfect setting and accomodations.
We stayed for 4 nights and used this location as home base as we explored Tuscany. Half way between Florence and Siena in the heart of Chianti country we found this the perfect spot. We stayed in the Grainery and it was just right for 5 people. The pool and surrounding grounds were perfect! Loved it all. One word of advise, hit the super market before you head up the hill. Nowhere close to buy groceries.

Incredible Stay and one of the most Beautiful properties in Tuscany
My family...wife and 3 kids (10, 9 and 6) and I were spending 16 days in Italy and our 3rd stop was here. First off Antonio the owner is really gracious and was very accommodating. He was incredibly helpful our whole stay and his family produces some incredible wine. Secondly the property was spectacular. We stayed in the Granaio house and our patio was perfect for relaxing while you look out over the Tuscan landscape. The infinity pool was great for the kids along with bocce ball and ping pong. Antonio and his staff are out there daily making things look perfect. Our house itself was large and clean and we loved using the kitchen after a day of exploring the nearby towns. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore and would comeback in a heartbeat. Thank you Antonio. We loved our stay! Great Father’s Day there—The Miller’s

Tuscan dream!
Our 5 day stay was perfect! We stayed in the private villa where it was quiet and serene. I was hesitant as there was no AC but upon arriving early May the villa was VERY cool with the thick walls. I would highly recommend staying. Antonio was thoroughly helpful in planning our days and guiding to parking garages in cities.

A Calm Tuscan Retreat in Chianti Country
Waiting too long to book lodging for 5 nights in Tuscany, we expected limited opportunities. This proved to not be true in general, but having found this gem we couldn't be more thankful. We booked Il Granaio - a separate apartment within the larger complex of this property - just one week before we arrived. While we felt privileged with our own unit, all the units on this property were beautifully equipped and shared the very well maintained and beautifully landscaped villa property. We enjoyed our patio with its large umbrella for our meals and the expansive view across the valley towards San Gimignano. Wonderful at all times, but even more spectacular and calming with the evening setting sun. While the apartment was right-sized for our family of 5, the lone bathroom is rather tiny and probably due for an upgrade soon.
Our family (children of 17, 15, 9 years of age) found the opportunities at this apartment perfect for our stay: a right-sized pool, plenty of lounging chairs under olive trees for shade, a bocce court, a ping-pong table, and the largest fig tree with ripe, perfect figs that we've ever seen.
The secret to this spectacular property is the owner/manager, Antonio. In spite of our inability to get to the property within his requested window on the first night (bad timing with Milano and Firenze traffic) he treated us with all the courtesy and care of your favorite relative, or finest hotel. Antonio's sense of comfort, style and hospitality are evident throughout the property, and he spends his days tending to the numerous chores necessary to keep such a property in top shape. Antonio was always eager to share his knowledge of the surrounding Chianti countryside and its offerings. The two regrets for our entire holiday period was that we did not plan sufficiently to take advantage of a local cooking class that Antonio recommended - it booked a week in advance - and we missed his planned party on the night of our checkout.
This wonderful property, just close enough to the town of Poggibonsi for groceries, and other towns for markets and tourism, was perfectly secluded in the iconic Tuscan hills. We enjoyed easy day trips to Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, and Certaldo. Florence would be equally accessible - we left that to a 2-day sojourn after leaving Antonio's place.
Thank you Antonio! We look forward to staying with you again, or perhaps sampling one of your other properties in the future.

Stunning views in a serene environment
Antonio has a lovely villa with outstanding views on a perfectly manicured property. Our villa was quite spacious and had all necessary utensils and cooking equipment in the unlikely event you want to prepare your own meal. Our only issue was the drive to the villa is quite curvy and a little further than we had anticipated. Having said that, its a great location to explore Sienna, San Gimingno, Volterra, and Firenze. I would highly recommend staying here if you have several days to explore the surrounding Tuscan region!

A glorious place to stay in the heart of Chianti
Our stay at Casa Villore was wonderful- what a beautiful place. Staff were helpful and friendly but at the same time discreet and so although there were other people there it felt very private. The pool is stunning, surrounded by olive trees and a view of San Gimignano in the distance- it couldn't have been better. Our apartment was well-equipped, rustic not luxury, but in keeping with the whole feel if the place. It is just a short drive into Poggibonsi where you can easily get to Siena or Florence for the day, and in the other direction Castellina is a gem. There is a fabulous restaurant on the way to Castellina as well. We would definitely come here again. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

Lovely home in Perfect Chianti Location
Il Casale Villore could not have been more perfect. As you first drive up towards the property you just know it's going to be amazing. And it was! The property with the cypress and olive trees and gorgeous huge potted lemon trees accenting a most gorgeous home couldn't have set the scene any better for the view we were about to enjoy. We stayed in the Granaio and it was perfect, even larger than I had expected. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was super clean and in perfect working order. We really didn't need anything else. Back to the property - this deserves more mention, the infinity pool facing a trill magnificent quintessential Tuscan view, multiple seating areas and patios. All amazing. We always felt like we had the whole property to ourselves even though we knew the other apartments were occupied. Wish we had had more time to enjoy this. Perhaps next time. The location and proximity to the best of Chianti and beyond is as good as it gets. Lastly the owner, Antonio was fantastic. He was always prompt in responding to my questions prior to our arrival and available to us at all times.
A few highlights all within 30 minutes drive: Siena, Greve, the new Antinori vineyard, Montefioralle (where time has stood still) and restaurant La Cassale there.
It was a perfect vacation to remember and I would recommend to anyone!

Fabulous property in the heart of Tuscany
We had a wonderful time during our stay at Casale di Villore! The property far exceeded our expectations for so many reasons. It was well maintained and very clean. The owner Antonio was so helpful and always available for assistance - he made great suggestions regarding towns and vineyards to visit, booked reservations and local restaurants; and provided us little extras (e.g., wine upon check in, bug spray, electronic adaptors) that made the stay that much more enjoyable. The location was very central, therefore it was easy to visit all regions of Tuscany by car. We highly recommend this place, and have already booked our next stay there in 2017! Thanks Antonio for your great hospitality.

Wonderful Place and Great Service
We spent a week here and found it to be the perfect base from which to enjoy an amazing Italian vacation. Upon arrival we were struck by the beauty of the property and surrounding vistas. The grounds are gorgeous, the accommodations beautiful, and Antonio's hospitality was exceptional. Our trip included our 15 month old son, and Antonio was able to provide a crib and high chair for him, which made things even easier. Additionally, our accommodations included a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of space, so we had everything we needed at our finger tips.
We used Casale di Villore as a base and then took day trips to surrounding points of interest. Using our rental car to get around, we toured Florence, Pisa, Chianti and Tuscany. Of all the wonderful places we saw, our favorite day was visiting small historic towns near Casale di Villore. Antonio provided recommendations for the best places to visit, great dining spots, and wineries, which made everything very easy.
I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway!

A piece of paradise!
We loved our stay at Casale di Villore. This place is fantastic. The apartment "Granaio" is large and well equipped. The terraces are isolated from other residents. Which is very nice. Antonio is a very kind host. The wine made ??from his wife is delicious. A glass of wine in hand, facing the fabulous landscape in this dream place is't simply a piece of paradise!
