Old school hotel with fanstatic service and excellent location. Incredibly nice place to simply relax, enjoy the view of the Dolomites and let others take the strain. Fantastic pool, hottub & sauna which is exactly what you need after hours walking in the mountains.
The primi of the evening diner was outstanding, the the secondi could have typically been better. This is splitting hairs though.

The hotel is old, but clean and comfortable with decent size room for a family of 4. The staff is helpful, but sometimes come across abrupt, but I think it is a language issue
It was a bit noisy the Saturday as our room faced the outside garden and their was a live band that played until after 11pm.

This hotel is totally set up for families. With the view of the Mini Club from the evening free drinks/snacks to indoor pool, our kids had a great time. It was not busy at all when we were there, but I can imagine it's packed at certain times of year with lots of kids to play with. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Views were amazing!
The family room had nice dividing walls so we could separate the room. Tons of storage space!
The bathroom and shower room were small and older, but everything was clean and sufficient.
4.2
Staff and size of room. Very friendly staff. The size of the room was also great with enough cabinets in the room.
Bathroom was so tiny and old. For the price and the size of the room, the bathroom was such a let-down. I would only stay in this place again if I know they renovated the bathrooms. Would also be nice to have coffee and tea facilities in the room.

Hotel is old and has certain charm. Even though the rooms are run down, they are cleaned twice a day to make up for it. Everything is squeaky clean. Hotel staff is very polite and attentive which is not a common thing in Italy. This is a big plus.
The coffee at breakfast is the best one we ever had anywhere. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Not 4* quality, more like 2-3.
Hotel is far from town. Being tired, we wanted to stay in it for dinner every night after skiing. However, after trying hotel restaurant for dinner on the first night we were forced to go to town every other night. The hotel dinner portions are unacceptably small. It's an attempt at fine dining with one course. They are literally two bites each. What is funny is that portions from the kids menu are 5-6 times larger than the adult main courses. In all restaurants in town all meal sizes are normal. We found it really inconvenient that no matter how tired we were, we had to drive to town every night.
Family rooms have two bedrooms which are split with "makeshift" partitions and sliding doors which provide zero privacy in terms of soundproofing. You can hear people breading in the other room. This was a post solution visible in partitions hitting the window in the middle with a gap between window and partition. Issue of no sound privacy is a big minus for the hotel. Additionally, bedroom sliding doors could not close entirely, thus not having visual privacy either.
Hotel is very old built before electronic devices. There is only two electrical sockets in the living room of which one is low in the corridor. Your phone has to sit on a floor and you can charge only one at the time. There are no sockets in the bedrooms which is unacceptable in 21st century, However, there are 3 sockets in the bathroom, which is useless as they are low and if you want to charge the laptop, you have to keep it on bathroom floor that may be wet. In addition all sockets are flat so if you own an Apple product the plug will keep falling out of the socket and you won't be able to charge it.

Great place to stay in Cortina, easy parking, close to the town, great views, helpful staff, pool was a bonus, best breakfast.
Nothing!

Lovely room and view. We liked the idea of having 2 separate duvets for the bed ;)
The staff went the extra mile to make sure we had gluten free options.

It was very clean and everyone of the staff was nice and helpfull!

The Mirage is a very nice hotel, nice staff, and nice facilities. It was everything that we had expected and more. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and good.
Two flaws to point out - the rooms are "dated" - and a little old-style. Nothing major here - just a taste-thing. The dinner at the hotel was not great value for money and didn't have a wide variety of choices - especially for kids. Better off eating in Cortina where the options are much greater and more cost-effective for kids. One last caveat - we were on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator (and had big/heavy bags). Again - nothing major - just things to know.

Very kindness for everything.
Nice facilities & food.
Place from Cortina d'Ampezzo.
4.2
Great location! Nice staff and we have been upgraded to a bigger room!

Staff was friendly
Terrible value for money. Very dated hotel, broken things in the room. 400+ euros the night was basically too much for the state. We booked 6 nights and left after two. Loosing the money but it was worth going to a decent hotel and enjoy our holidays

The flowers at the hotel were abundant and beautiful and contributed to a peaceful atmosphere. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. The yard with activities for kids was a nice, unexpected addition. The breakfast was amazing!!! The location was a perfect central spot for hiking. We loved our view from our balcony.

Being just outside Cortina with free parking, this hotel was ideally located especially if you have a car. Only around 5 mins from the city centre and less than 15 mins from the slopes by car. The hotel is not new but well kept and has an old charm to it. Very clean. Staff were great and extremely helpful. Room was very spacious for a family of 5.

The barman and the receptionist guys were really amazing. very professional, nice and polite. Breakfast was very good. The swimming pool and spa amazing. We had a very good time. Highly recommend.
We had dinner once at the Restaurant of the Hotel, the food was ok but not great, a bit overpriced for what it was.
4.2
Friendly stuff, amazing view from the hotel
Bad soundproof of the rooms, old building and furnitures, small welness area.
4.2
Breakfast is very poor for what you pay
I was extremely disappointed by the quality of the Wi-Fi completely unacceptable… Barely usable
Needs to be refurbished (really old furniture)
4.2
The room was spacious, the breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety, restaurant was excellent, the pool and jacuzzi were nice, parking was great, good location near town. The staff was very nice and helpful.
nothing-perfect stay.
4.2
Very big room, comfortable, exceptionally clean, kind staff.
Older furniture, poor choice of food for breakfast.
4.2
Extremely cozy hotel! Would return for sure.
The restaurant has nice food but is very expensive when compared to similars in town. And there is no alternative nearby. We felt ripped off every time. Not a good option for those without a vehicle. The only offer shuttled to the city, which is far from the slopes. A 30Euro cab is required for each way to get to the slopes. And there is no taxi driver available. For all the rest, excelent!!! Kids loved it too.
4.2
Cosy room with nice view, child playground (although not maintained), peaceful location.
Shower in poor condition, hotel premises quite outdated, breakfast staff idle (not picking up used plates, not replenishing food), charged for jacuzzi caps without any previous notice.
4.2
Beautiful views, friendly staff, clean facilities, and so much to do for the kids. Location was also great.
I wish they offered more variety for meals.
4.2
The food was excellent and high level of service from staff. Beautiful spacious grounds with lots of outdoor seating. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable.
4.2
Great views, spacious room, easy parking and very friendly staff.
1. Wifi was so bad that it constantly disconnected during our 3 days stay.
2. Sometimes shower was only luke warm.
4.2

very friendly
a little outdated

The food was excellent during breakfast and dinner.

Location
Rooms didnt had European power sockets, USB chargers, Showers seemed too old fashioned and also impractical to use. Small jacuzzi for a hotel guest capacty of 100. Could have upgraded Sauna, Jacuzzi tubs to accomodate more people. Not ideal for SPA at all.
4.2
GREAT LOCATION , EASY TO GET TO AND PLENTY OF PARKING SPACE , ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF TOWN AND QUIETER FOR THIS REASON
A BIT NOISY IN THE EARLY HOURS
4.2
Excellent bed very, clean room.
Very good dinner!
Hotel outside the town -10min driving, not a long druve so jot that bad.
The breakfast could be more varied, it was very good, but same every day. Also, they could add some vegetables in the breakfast (fresh tomatoes, cucumbers etc.)
