Great staff and great location

The staff - very polite

Lovely hotel in great location with lots of good restaurants nearby and a Metro stop 5 mins walk. Easy access to the Acropolis, Syntagma, Plaka, etc. Good sized family rooms. The staff were first-rate, particularly duty manager Dimitri and bellboy Costas. They really helped smooth over our rocky start, as described below.
Last minute family getaway and we missed something in our quick booking. The reason we chose this hotel was the rooftop pool and restaurant area with views of the Acropolis. The pool had a retractable roof and seemed enclosed. Their own website said it 'operated all year round'. But alas, the entire area was shut tight. CLOSED FROM NOVEMBER UNTIL 1 MAY. Not even access to view the Acropolis. The website needs to clearly state the dates that it is not open. We had paid approx €1000 for a room, a gym and a downstairs bar. If not the pool, surely there is scope to open sections of this area during shoulder season? What a waste of prime space! An off-season room rate would also be welcome to reflect the lack of facilities.

Everything is good in the hotel except for the evening reception employee. I do not remember his exact name. His name starts with the letter k and his hair was at the time of arriving at the hotel at dawn. I have a pre-booking online, but he asked me for more money and the way he spoke to us is very bad. I told him that we have a reservation From the company in the hotel to attend the Arab-Greek meeting that was held in the hotel, but I left the hotel immediately after the meeting ended because of my lack of respect by the receptionist..
Observing the evening reception staff, but there is a young white employee who is very young and respectful. He tried to help us with everything, but the other employee, who is older than him, has a little white hair, he was forcing him not to help us

Everything was absolutely amazing!
The pool. We were hoping to see a bigger pool
4.3
The rooftop pool was a great vibe and the staff were really nice.
It’s 2km walk to central shopping and restaurant district
4.3
The bathroom
The decoration was outdated and tired.
The room did not reflect the cost.
Due to VIP’s staying at the property we were treated as unimportant. We were not informed that we would have to go through metal detectors every time we walked in the property.
There was a function one day which was in the same location as the pool. Had to walkthrough people in suits saying excuse me to get to the pool area, very embarrassing.
Room service trays were left in corridors all day without being collected. Then when they were collected at 2:30 am we were woken by the noise.

Service was excellent in assisting us with ordering taxis and other transportation. Good advice given on activities.
Drinks at the roof top bar were over priced for base drinks and glasses were not filled more than 1/2 full.

Staff of hotel
The sheets were clean but some had black stains and dots
Also the roof top restaurant prices were super high
4.3
Everything was awful it’s the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The staff are racist, rude and unhelpful. Perhaps because they’re racist. They are unfriendly and unwilling to be hospitable. The facilities, the room, the hotel in general are at best a 2/3 star hotel. The rooms are awful and tiny. The value for money is zilch. I would never stay here nor recommend this property to a friend

Nothing in the hotel is worth liking.
Staff were mostly unfriendly, even rude. Airconditioning did not work properly. Coffee amenities were not refilled, and staff blamed us for their inability to do so. Location is bad. Facilities are mediocre and old.
4.3
swimming pool and the bar on the roof top
the towels are cream white and they are old. they have lost their luxurious cotton
tea and coffee were not replaced
4.3
Thé staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The lobby is spacious, the gym is practical. The rooftop restaurant is worth it. The neighborhood is clean.
The bed was super uncomfortable, the pillows were uncomfortable. The entire room needs some renovation, one bathroom tap was lose and outdated. The layout of the bathroom is poorly designed. If you need to open the door to the bathroom and you’re not careful you could injure yourself. The gym isn’t 24h which is a shame. I would like to see more attention to details. I can’t call this a true 5 star hotel.
4.3
The location is good and central, about 20 min walk from Syntagma square. The staff is friendly. The ambiance is good and the roof top bar is fine.
room size is small, cleanliness can be improved, quality of bathroom (black spots, fungus, stained glass, old style tub shower) is bad. In general, the property is old, demands maintenance and is not value for money (due to other modern properties available).
4.3
The rooms were large great views. The pool was located on the top floor with the bar & restaurant also with great views.
4.3
Breakfast was very good and super nice restaurant with rooftop and perfect view to Akropolis. Rooms were big enough and staff was very supportive and friendly
It was a bit noisy from the street even with closed windows and the beds were too soft
