Plenty of options to get food. The rooms are plush and very clean and comfortable and the grounds of the hotel are beautiful. As we were working we didn't have time to try the spa facilities or anything like that.
Its a very long way to walk with your luggage to some of the rooms.

Location only
Everything - very dated most furniture damaged, chipped and scratched. Decor very poor. Thread bare dirty carpet everything stained and in need to updating. Cracked sink - ceramic tiles cracked and in places where they had fallen off replaced with hardboard laid over and taped

Breakfast not too bad but very busy. Cutlery dirty. Coffee luke warm.
Staff very unhelpful, Never smile. Just dreadful. Spa women's changing room floor slimy and covered with hairs. I only swam once. Rooms very noisy. Stained carpets. Tired decor. Food in bar overpriced and not nice. If you complain to reception about issues they argue with you. Very poor experience.

Location
The bed was too short in length and iam only 6 foot tall.
Mattress was lumpy and very uncomfortable. Both of us had a bad nights sleep while there. Breakfast was a farce and we couldn’t get a seat. This was 7.30am. No cutlery. No hot water for hot drinks. Shortage of food in the bain-maries

At first glance it was clean and smart
The bedroom was clean and functional however the bathroom floor had black stains and cracks in the tiles. One of the lights was not working and the tiles had black mould in the grouting
The door in the corridor caused a noisy vibration that woke us up everytime someone used it
Lastly a fire alarm went off for 15 mins and no one checked on the guests, it then went silent and no explanation

staff are very professional
The room was dirty requested a change on the first night and was told not available to do so due to being busy. Made a complaint to on duty manager as room was very dirty and infestation of Beatles bugs still waiting to be contacted regarding my complaint.
ended up checking out early .

Location
It was scruffy, the food in the bar was horrendous , they only allow one towel per customer although you have to use that same towel for the spa which os also disgustingly dirty.

The Bar menu was better than the main Restaurant , Soft drinks were a little expensive
The twin beds in our room were built for children , I did complain but the staff didn't seem interested , I would like to see the Manager pay a room rate then try and get a good nights sleep in one of the kiddy beds , THEY NEED REPLACING

Der Parkplatz und der Außenbereich sind sehr schön und gepflegt. Das Zimmer war sehr groß.
Die Atmosphäre war etwas komisch und der Boden im Zimmer war nicht so schön.

Barn great but not good for disabled. When arrived the facilities were not good at all. But the staff were great and changed my room to accommodate me for my needs. But did enjoy my stay and staff were wonderful. Drinks were expensive and I think a happy hour should be used. Overall the stay were enjoyable xxxx
Drinks prices at bar and gnats and mosquitoes in the rooms drove me to distractions

The pool and spa were great.
The noise coming from our room next door. We were next to some sort of laundry room/cleaning room. Room (604) the noise coming from the room next door went on for all hours. Then the noise from other guests walking past the room. The floor boards made the furniture in our room shake. At one point we thought someone was breaking into our room. So we barely slept at all.
The breakfast situation was a shambles. Not enough seating for the amount of guests. Ran out of food, so we had to spend time waiting for food and clean plates. The food wasn’t very warm and some items of food were hard.
We left the hotel feeling extremely tired and disappointed.

Breakfast that was about it
The place isn't tired, its exhausted, poorly maintained, and of in need of a good top to bottom over haul.
I would avoid going here as it is a very poor quaility hotel.

Clean spacious rooms. Lovely spa. Nice food in the restaurant. Friendly helpful staff. Good value for money. Great car park.
Only thing for us is the upstairs rooms with the slopping ceilings and my partners head!! Haha

Location was good
Room clean
Nice looking
We wanted to swim at around 4.30 but we’re told the pool was full capacity. We weren’t aware this may happen. One of reasons property was chosen was because we enjoy swimming.
There was someone noisy above us, pacing during the night.

No draught beers available and when one was it tasted like water had to return multiple times, the food we ordered took over an hour to arrive and when it did we couldn’t even eat it- paid £8 for 3 burnt cold chicken wings!

There was a lovely pool and spa area. Quiet and safe location
The bedroom was very tired and dated and the knobs on the drawers and wardrobes were not fit for purpose ie came off when tried to open up. Very old and battered fan in room very ineffective and this was an exceedingly hot day

The staff were friendly
The hotel was so hot it was unbearable, the worst sleep I had in very long time.
3.5 / 5.0
The staff were exceptional. Every single person went above and beyond to serve us.
The hotel was a bit dated and needs a new coat of paint.
We couldn't watch the rugby in the lounge as the tv's didn't have prime.
It would also be good if there was a games room, at the very least a pool table. Not much for teenagers to do.

The location was close to where I needed to be. The hotel communal areas looked nice, however we did not use them.
-Hot water tap was scolding.
-When trying to adjust the shower, the shower head fell off as it was only balancing on a fitting (nothing secure to put it) where it fell off and sprayed boiling water up my arm which left some irritation.
-Curtain was ripped so room was light around 4am.
-Room was extremely warm, and even sleeping with the window open did not help.
-Room key failed at midnight. Husband went to reception and there was nobody there. Phoned the number listed to call, which called the phone in front of him. After 10 mins, someone reset our card. This card failed so he had to go back, called again. At this point they said the battery on the door had failed and they would need the master key. It took half an hour in the end to get us back in our room.

Staff were friendly and welcoming.
We have stayed in several Best Western hotels previously but unfortunately on this occasion we were disappointed. The first room we were given had ripped curtains, an iron mark on the carpet and the room looked very tired. We requested a change and the 2nd room was better. For the money though I would expect a higher standard of provision. Staff were all friendly and attentive.

Cleaners and chefs were really friendly. Pool and spa facilities were nice.
The hotel feels quite dated and breakfast was hugely overpriced for what it was and cold by 9.15am and being cleared away by 9.30am even though it was meant to be available until 10am. The dining room isn’t dog friendly and we felt like we were inconveniencing staff by eating in the library area (which is a little distance from the main room and not set for anyone to eat there so be prepared to ask for cutlery etc) the carpets were also cleaned around us whilst we trying to eat so conversation wasn’t possible. We felt quite unwelcome there. We sadly wouldn’t choose this hotel again which is a shame as this could be a lovely place with a little more care

the room was really nice and clean.
the pool changing room wasn’t the cleanest. I think it just gets a lot of people using it so may be hard to keep on top of.
