Very surprised to see this type of hotel in the heart of a city with its beautiful surroundings .
My only complaint is they didn’t have any apple crumble desert

Lovely hotel nice and clean, very comfortable and well maintained throughout.
The staff were absolutely lovely from the reception staff to the cleaners and couldn't do enough to help you.
The health suite was lovely, clean and fresh and again the staff were lovely.
The swimming pool was quite cold

Property looked beautiful and picturesque.
We travelled with our daughter and granddaughter and were forced to have two rooms. We purposefully chose the property due to the pool and spa only to find out on arrival that children are not allowed in the pool, which I have never heard of. Although this was in the email I received after booking, it was too late by then as it was a last minute booking with a non- refundable stay. In top of this the room was poor. There was no milk to have a drink, no water apart from bathroom no biscuits and worse of all the bed was one of the worst I have stayed in. Both my husband and I didn’t sleep at all and had a long exhausting drive with no sleep. We booked for dinner as a family at 7:30pm and were eventually served our meal at 8:45pm by which time the baby was so tired and hungry and upset that my daughter had to leave her meal and take the baby back to their room and because it was so late they were not able to make breakfast that we had paid for. I have never been so disappointed with an overnight stay and wish I had not booked.

Lovely building
To get access to the pool I had to show my daughter’s ID and wanted me to have her copy, the Duty Manager didn’t know I work for the government and once I told him the change of speech was totally different. Before the book I rang and ask if they need my daughter’s ID, they said NO, I get there to a nightmare. Don’t use power to underestimate someone sometimes they are above you.

Our room 33 was huge and very comfortable .
All the rooms I booked for family that cost the same were different sizes.. some much more compact/ smaller beds which isn't right when you're all paying the same price!
Bathroom floors very slippy.
Webs on ceiling light fittings.

Good experience...
no kids allowed to be using swimming pool that was a bit disappointing

Location.
Tired, dated and grubby carpets.
Bathroom was new but poorly plumbed, water leaked out of bath and into carpets near the bed. The hot water was so hot it was dangerous and the shower fittings were confusing and difficult to get right.

Just out side vary deceiving
It was an absolute disaster it was old broken, cob web it stank of smoke, the bed sheets were dirty, cracked ceilings, no lift, spa fake and broken swimming pool out of order. Shower broken and extremely hot (DANGEROUSLY hot) cups in the hotel we’re nasty and dusty.
My child got allergic reactions from dust. We Left the place without shower .I spent horrific night in my life with my family. Avoid it at all cost .

Nice location, very pretty. Friendly staff and air con was a great bonus.
Was a shame we couldn't open the windows, we were only on the first floor so seems unnecessary to not be able to open them. In my dad's room behind the TV was a real mess and we only looked there because that's where the thermostat was. Pool being out of order was a shame, we weren't there to use that but no indication from the hotel before arrival is disappointing.

Good bathroom and shower, comfortable beds, aircon, good breakfast, nice garden, good parking and secure, friendly staff
Minor things: Rubbish bin in garden needed emptying. Toilet roll holder in bathroom fitted upside down so toilet roll kept slipping off. More hooks needed in bathroom to hang towel on whilst showering

the hotel is pretty good and in a perfect location for peace away from the city life and the mirrors bar is amazing and Marianne is perfect at her job and makes it a good place to drink and dine so is Louise a good person and Meena is good at the spa as well
on 21st in the early hours with the fire alarm going off at 3:30am and again at 4:30am cos their is no warnings in the rooms to keep bathroom doors closed while having showers to prevent the smoke alarms going off from the steam from the bathrooms or any signs not to slam doors to guests walking to rooms to state to respect the guests as some like a early night so please be quite and not to slam doors

Great staff, brilliant facilities including spa . The food is great, even the breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had.. Good location. Lovely clean rooms. The price was excellent. Spa treatments we had were wonderful and reasonably priced. Loved the pool sauna ,steam, and jacuzzi . Riley, on reception, made checking in easy and gave us all the info we needed. Marieanne in the bar was an absolute joy. All staff excellent. It's very handy for the Black Country museum nearby, ir Dudley Castle and Zoo. Very quiet, got good sleep every night. Impessive building. You'll love it. I'm so glad we booked.
Nothing it was all great.

Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast and restaurant food was nice, although restaurant and bar are expensive. Room was passable for being clean but was spacious.
Ah… what the site doesn’t tell you is it’s at the top of a residential area. Going out to eat isn’t really an option as the town centre isn’t the best for options. The sofa bed in the room was very uncomfortable, I was a little disappointed that we had booked a room with 2 beds for the family but were ‘upgraded’ (I wouldn’t have called it an upgrade) to a terrace room as I had my assistance dog with me - whilst grateful for that I did compromise the comfort of my 12 year old. As it was only 1 night it wasn’t worth the hassle of making a fuss.
Under 18s cannot use the pool area which is a shame as that’s one of the reasons we booked - for the spa and pool.

Breakfast was nice but ran out of pastries, location is lovely staff are great especially Sukhi who went out of her way to accommodate our requests and check to ensure we were enjoying our stay. Nice spacious room shower is lovely although can be slippy with products.
Room was not fully clean there were sweets left
Over on the floor from previous guests which was off putting sofa beds are very uncomfortable. Lift was out of order which they should notify of time of booking along with pool use is not for under 18s which should be made clear at
Time of booking especially when booking a family room with children so i had dissapointed children to contend with on arrival.
