Stunning views over the ocean. The rooms are incredible and the staff are amazing 😊

Everything was amazing!

Stunning scenery along the cliff walk, fabulously presented breakfasts with choices of hot and cold, warm & welcoming staff. A perfect travellers choice. A great location within a short 5 min drive to the regular farmers market held at Hermanus Cricket Club monthly.
Despite underfloor heating the room was very cold, and double duvets needed to keep warm. This a common complaint throughout the locations of our trip to SA and not unique to this guest house.

Everything. The room was big and extremely clean. From when I arrived, the staff was so helpful and accommodating of my needs. The breakfast was absolutely amazing
The underfloor heating wasn't working night 1 but was sorted the following dag

We had a fabulous stay. Probably one of the best places I’ve stayed anywhere in the world. Would love to come back again and again. The design was gorgeous, the setting spectacular, the cuisine delicious, and the service amazing. I also appreciated having a fitness center, which is a rare find for a boutique hotel. But if that’s not your thing, plenty of other ways to keep fit including the beautiful cliff path. There is so much to do in the area that 4 nights was definitely not enough. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our family holiday so special!!

Location was great! Comfortable room
Did not meet expectations. Did not feel luxurious. Overpriced - would say it was worth less than half of what they charged. Staff was also not very professional. Breakfast was very disappointing too. Overall, felt very disappointed in my stay.

Amazing spread for breakfast. Lovely quiet location with direct access to the cliff path. Staff were lovely & very helpful, they sorted taxis to get to the town, made recommendations, and allowed us to check out late and leave baggage. Lovely rooms and great decor.

The view and room was amazing. High quality furniture throughout the place - felt like a 5 star hotel.
For the price of this hotel, dinner or something else would normally be included. Also, for the price you would expect everything to be perfect including the little things. There was no body wash in the shower (only lotion and shampoo and conditioner), no bath salts for the tub, however when I looked at it properly the tub was covered in stains so I wouldn't have used it anyway. Our check in experience was average. Nothing was explained and when we were offered a juice we picked one but were then told they don't have it. The staff member then could not remember what he had just been told and had to go back. We then picked from what was available but were given the wrong one. We just accepted it to avoid further hassle and felt bad to send him back. The room does not have an aircon, just a fan. It's a nice place but overall expect more and something extra for one of the most expensive places. The bed was also rock hard - some may prefer this but I struggled to sleep.

What a lovely place this is - Staff were so super friendly and helpful. The hotel is very nicely decorated and clean and in the most fabulous location! We could see the whales from our hotel room! Perfect stay for Hermanus in a high end boutique hotel.
Nothing.

This hotel sits right on the ocean with access to a he beach/beach trail.

A delightful hotel. Wonderful staff who made our stay most welcome. The room exceeded expectation. It was really comfortable, spacious, functional with style. Lots of variety for breakfast; the fresh fruit was really inviting with its variety. The pool can be used throughout the day as there is an abundance of sun. Also being able to walk from the hotel along the "cliff path" was a real treat.
Although the breakfast was supurb, not being able to enjoy lunch at the hotel was disadvantageous. Adding a light lunch menu or buffet may be the cherry on top.

the location, well maintained, spacious, friendly
it is on a main road, which you might hear in the „normal“ rooms. we stayed in one of the suites, where you only heard and saw the sea.
