Ein wahnsinnig schönes Hotel mit der Jungel-Atmosphäre

Das ist ein sehr außergewöhnliches und empfehlenswertes Hotel in der Jungel. Man genießt die Pflanzen und Geräusche vom Regenwald, die Außenanlage ist sehr schön. Es gibt einen Pool, den wir gern benutzt haben. Mit dem Abendessen und Frühstück im Restaurant waren wir auch sehr zufrieden. Unser Zimmer war ziemlich groß und hatte eine Terasse und eine gute Klimaanlage. Die Betten waren bequem.

Comfortable stay in lovely surroundings

The hotel is nicely incorporated into the surrounding and let you enjoy the peace of rainforest without disturbing it's natural charm and beauty like some huge hotels nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful, providing fast answers and support so you can spend your days and plan daily trips to the best of your schedule. Enjoying the evenings by the pool with a tasty cocktail from the bar is an added value after a day spend on exploring the area. Comfortable big room with a comfy bed. The terraces/balconies are 'fenced' with mosquito nets so you can calmly spend the time outside and also leave your door open for a night to enjoy the fresh breeze and sounds of the forest. The hotel is offering free walking and biking tours - don't miss that one if you have a free morning or afternoon cause the guide we had was really knowledgeable fantastic person and we enjoyed the walk discovering local fauna and flora very much. Good food selection at breakfast.

The restaurant offer in terms of quality is falling slightly behind the overall great rating for the stay, place and facilities.

The staff's non-interest in finding somebody to hep with luggage as there no trollies, it was pouring with rain, and we could not carry everything with one go. In general staff was not that friendly.

Nature surroundings with polite reception staff

The room was way too humid. the staff in the restaurant didn’t pay attention to us. the first night we had to call go to the after 30 min to get drinks and dinner options.

The place is located inside a forest. Its very relaxing and calm, perfect for those ones who loves being in contact with nature.

The staff was awful. There was just one person working on both pool bar and restaurant. Our drinks took forever to get ready.

Nice and relaxing hotel to visit Iguazu waterfalls

Nice location in the forest with all the sounds of the jungle. The pool is Nice and they serve good cocktails. Breakfast offers a large choice in a pleasant setting. The staff is helpful for example to book transfers to the waterfalls or airport. The room is comfortable but the bathroom is maybe a bit outdated.

Everything was good. Price/value for money is according to this very touristic area.

lovely surroundings but totally reliant on expensive taxis with hotel staff who are pretty uninspired

there are building works going on next door. they start at 7am and are very loud. this was right outside our window. when we spoke to staff about this they were disinterested and did not offer to swap rooms or have any suggestions. we did not feel like anyone cared and we were just another bother to a long day of work.

The location, the staff, the food, taxi service. The rooms need a bit of upgrade, but they are clean and neat. Wifi on the premises is good, we didn't come to watch TV, but programs could have had a better reception. The pool is great.

The smell in the room was weird, I don't know, was it from AC or something else. The faucet in the bathroom sink was spraying, we let the water running for a few minutes, because it was brown at the beginning.

Not what we expected for our honeymoon

The hotel is in the middle of the jungle so you get to see butterflies, lizards and all the flora while walking around. The bed was really comfortable and great size. The trip to the waterfalls was just amazing (although the Devil's mouth was closed when we visited) so in the end we enjoyed the stay.

We came as a part of our honeymoon and the hotel disappointed us. We were put in a standard double room (which we booked) right next to the parking with a small French door (nothing like you see on the pictures) and shabby looking interior. The staff at the reception (well, one of them) were very helpful and as everywhere in Argentina were able to arrange taxi ($1000 to the city, $3500 to the airport and the same price for one way to the Iguazu waterfalls) and give you all the information you needed via WhatsApp. The staff in the very basic looking restaurant were not that enthusiastic, although the food was very good. The breakfast was ok with lots of sweets and fresh fruits. The pool is rather shallow and quite crowded. If you want a better experience (the jungle feel is really nice) do book the deluxe room. They looked really amazing.

Fantastic place, let down by the restaurant

The room was beautiful, the location was good for the fact we were in the jungle. The staff were really helpful and would book anything we asked via a very handy WhatsApp assistant system. Good cocktails at the bar.

The restaurant food was poor. Both for lunch and dinner. My wife is vegetarian and had limited options. The problem is that there are no other food options within walking distance.

Great staff great to organise your trip to Iguazú

The staff were very friendly and useful, clean well presented.

The property is a little far away from the town meaning you probably need to eat at the restaurant there unless you have a car or taxi. While in a quiet location, you can sometimes hear noise from other rooms

beautiful location in the heart of the jungle .

La Cantera is in the most beautiful location in the jungle. We had a fantastic balcony and could have a bath with a view of the jungle too! the bed was really comfortable. The staff were really helpful and it was easy to organise taxis to both Argentinian and Brazilian sides of the falls. There was a really interesting walk through the jungle provided and it was also only a ten minute walk to visit the local indigenous village. while there wasn’t a lot in the way of vegan options, Chris on reception organised some soya milk to be collected for us which made a huge difference. We didn’t use the facilities much in the day but on our last day between checking out and going to the airport we used the pool and it was fantastically refreshing on a very hot day.

we would have liked a few more vegan options on the menu, but there was a delicious pasta and salad!

More than perfect

Everything ! The place is incredible, in the middle of the rain forest, everything is perfect, the restaurant, breakfast, pool, rooms etc They upgraded us for free, the staff is very nice, speaks a lot of languages. The service is very friendly, everything with wa I recommend 100% !!
