Convenient for the airport

Close to the airport, functional, picturesque surroundings, had a convenient shuttle service which is cheaper than local taxis.

Would recommend if your flight is not very early in the morning or just staying for one night.

Good value for money. Hotel room is spacious,quiet and the staff were nice.

Property is not walking distance from Stansted airport. It’s located somewhere further and a bit secluded. Our flight was early in the morning but couldn’t book any uber so we have to pay £21 for the shuttle.

Cheap for a reason but good location

Proximity to Stansted Airport which was the reason for my stay to catch an early flight the next morning. Cheap but see below for the reason why! At least they are realistic for pricing the accommodation in relation to the quality of the property rather than just the location

The decor was so dated and the bathroom needed a refit , the bed was really uncomfortable, not enough pillows and no WiFi

Eccentric little hotel with a comfortable bed

Weird, fun mural in the entrance hall Comfortable bed Room right next to reception, even though it was described as being “in the annex” Quiet room The incredible intense flow of the shower, best I’ve ever had in any hotel, I even had to reduce the flow because it was a bit too much 😂

Old damaged furniture in the room Surly but accommodating night staff on arrival Stupid shampoo/shower gel sachets that were impossible to open, so I had to wash my body with the soap, which was also difficult to open, but not impossible, unlike the sachets

Park at airport it's cheaper

Rooms have been refurbished since I stayed a few years ago, fresh, clean, tasteful & modern. Nice size room & comfortable

Advertised parking charge is for 1st night only each 24 hours after is £1.60 extra per day, when I queried this is NOT stated anywhere receptionist honoured the lower price. They have increased the shuttle bus service to the airport to £15 one way !!!! The service also stops at 7pm so cannot get back on my return & a taxi will be £25 extortionate for 4 miles!!! Had I been aware of these changes before hand I would not have booked, meet & greet at airport is cheaper. Old property so noise proofing a problem can hear everything outside of your room.

Decent-sized room that's close to the airport and reasonably priced.

The shower in the bathtub faced the short side of the tub, making it less comfortable than it could have been. I also think a vending machine or some light food options would be good for after hours.

Door did not lock to my room. Was disappointed lots of construction. No covered areas outside. The address was not clear for any transportation to get you from the airport.

there was no way to lock the hotel room door . As a woman traveling alone this was very uncomfortable. they charged me £30 for airport transport without telling me I would be charged. also not informed on the site. Also not informed when I called

I liked the outside space and close proximity to the airport

the hallways smell really bad and when I arrived the man at the reception had different booking details to the ones I had made and said I hadn’t booked parking as well as a room - which I had. and he was saying it was on me to sort it out and he wasn’t willing to try and contact the partner booking companies himself to sort the problem out.

Hotel is perfectly adequate - but the limits of the shuttle bus service need to be made much clearer

Staff were polite and friendly. Dining room was interesting!

There were repairs taking place at the hotel. There was a "no entry" sign on the door to the corridor to my room! . The shuttle service only runs at certain times. This was not clear at the time of booking. It proved impossible to get a shuttle when I arrived which meant paying £25 for a taxi to get there. Since I was trying to find somewhere cheap to stay, it rather defeated the object of the booking.

Very poor

Nothing at all.

No any shuttle buses like described at web. Impossible to order taxi via Uber, FREE app. No garbage bin in room. Breakfast not included. Impossible to get even bottle of water after midnight. Come on, 21st century already!!!! Check out at 11:00. I was disapointed completely. Never ever return there. Be aware of this hotel.

Don't recommend, really bad experience

The room would be nice if it was clean and not that hot

Horrible breakfast. Nothing is available and despite me asking staff to provide it nothing was done. Staff doenst speak English at all. Check in is horrible as receptionist took hours to process info as he wasn't speaking English. Location is bad, even tho it's 5 mins drive away Uber costs £30 or hotel is doing pick up for very limited hours for £18 pp.
