Good breakfast
We where hoping for a evening meal in the hotel but on arrival we told kitchen was closed due to a wedding party
(Not before), if we had known we would have booked Premier Inn

The hotel manager was very efficient, and the breakfast was substantial
Wi-Fi is vey poor as is the lift. We had a superior room which was very “tired’. Carpets on the floor not great, and bathroom was not particularly clean….

I had an issue with noise, coming from outside, on my first night. The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate my wishes when they moved me the next day. They not only moved me but also upgraded my room. They couldn't do enough for me. The staff, in particular the Hotel Manager, were really kind and helpful. One of the receptionists even wheeled my suitcase to the taxi when I left.
It was rather hot in the bedroom. I did turn the radiator off but the room remained on the hot side. Opening the window did help.

Room was a great size for the price. Bed amd pillows were comfy. I liked how there was a dressing table to get ready at. I didn't hear too much noise so slept well. Information packet was available. Tv worked well. Easy to check in and out.
Would have been nice to have some bottled water on the tea tray in my room as I do not drink tea or coffee so would have to go to the bar or use the bathroom tap for water to drink. When I stripped the bedding off some of the pillows has yellow stains on. Doors are quite loud when they shut and set off a Lound hight pitched beep If not shut properly. Would prefer curtains instead of a blind.

It was close to shopping centre, train station. The bed was comfy. The staff were friendly.
There were only wooden blinds in the room, it would have been nice to have some blackout curtains. The room was very warm but there was a fan in the room.

The size if the room
The noise of a man who was shouting and banging at silly aclock in the morning

I like the location. It was perfectly close to the event where I had to go. I will go there next year too.

Staff are lovely and very helpful! Really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and help if you need anything! Just need to ask.
Big big plus.
Easy to get to from the train station
Very loud as in town centre and seems like there's lots of noisy people around even during the day. They warned after the booking was completed though so kinda expected it.
For the price it's not very impressive, quite run down and simple. It's clean for sure, just a bit old and not what I expected when i booked.
You've got everything you need in a hotel room but it's very pricey for what it's like.

Made a special request for my room location and it was done. Close to the bars and shops, nice big car park.

Good value, very comfy bed, easy walking distance from station, friendly staff
Although clean the bathroom really needed some maintenance, fittings loose and sealant peeling and discoloured.
Quite a noisy location, although this is advised when booking.

Staff very attentive, very friendly. Room very clean.Hotel position is excellent.
The bed was very hard, which made sleep very uncomfortable. The TV in the room was very small, could hardly read the text on TV. There is no food served on a Saturday and Sunday night, which we did not know this when we booked the hotel. So we eat out.( 2 nights stay) outside space very limited. We left with mixed feeling about our stay. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

Just the staff
The room has not kittle for any cup of tea. The hotel doesn't deserve the amount they charge.

Could check in early. Friendly staff and a clean room.
I thought the bar area could have been more "cozy". Needs to be more of an ambience to entice people in. Not a lot of atmosphere. No food available.

Perfect for a one night stay after seeing a concert

Perfect location, very friendly and welcoming staff, big sized rooms. We will definitely stay again on any other next visit of Basingstoke.
We only had a little problem with the hot water. But staff were quick to help.
