The staff were great and went over and above. Our van had broken down on the way to Glastonbury and John the receptionist/manager kindly froze our ice packs for us overnight in the staff freezer so we could keep our cool boxes chilled for the weekend. The pool was lovely and the bedroom comfortable and quiet.
The pillows were far to big - it would be nice to have a couple of smaller options. I had to sleep on the decorative pillow with a towel over it, as the normal pillows were too high for my neck.

Location to meet friends
Decent breakfast- plenty of choice ,
Pool , access to hot tub dangerous ( my partner and I have mobility issues)
The steps into the hot tub are too deep ( around 18” per step)and NO HANDRAIL to assist getting in and out !
Beds were uncomfortable, 2 single beds pushed together, we spent more time pushing them back together all the time .
Lightbulb on wall light on my side of bed was missing , so couldn’t read in bed 1st night. Rectified following day.

Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty. All in all a positive experience
Room was fairly small. The bathroom light took 2/3 mins to turn on which wasn’t great at night! And the television didn’t work in our room.

The reception staff were good, and the room was fine for my purposes. Appreciated the really good water pressure in the shower.
The whole restaurant experience was a debacle. I arrived on time and was seated. It was 40 minutes before someone came to take my order, during which I observed at least two other parties leave because they had been waiting too long. Another 20 minutes later the server returned to say that he had lost the piece of paper and could he have the order again. I noted that he appeared to be taking orders on pieces of till receipt strip instead of a proper notebook or POS. So a whole hour to just get the order successfully submitted.
When the main arrived one of the sides was missing. I had to ask someone to go and get the desert.
When I asked for the bill it was brought to the table together with the card machine, but the server then ran off to deal with at least two other customers before returning to take the payment.

Nice to have a break away. Nice hot shower.
The tables were stained and dirty. Wallpaper hanging off the wall, not enough toilet roll, stains on the bed frame.
Iron not working, dust visable everywhere. Hair grips found on floor from a previous guest.
Breakfast cold and poor.
