The hotel is very nice and the location is great for skiing.
We thought we had booked half board (it was stated on our reservation), but on arrival were told that there was a mistake. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters. The owner was not at all apologetic, nor even acknowledged that this was an inconvenience and would be significant extra cost for us. I felt she took advantage of the fact that we were already there on vacation and didn't have a choice at that point. After I called booking.com to complain, the hotel offered us an afternoon snack, which was not useful since we had already missed it the first day and were out skiing the other afternoons. We've stayed at this hotel before, but will not come back again. I don't like to be treated in such an uncaring way.

Breakfast was nice, we did not particularly like the frankfurter sausages, but everything else was good quality, the coffee was nice and plentiful.
We did not have a bath in the room, there was no alternative room available.

The breakfast offered a good variety of meats, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt and breads. If you wanted you could order eggs from the kitchen prepared as you wish. Definitely did not go away hungry, and the food was a high quality product.
nothing to speak of.

Food - the Chef just killed it!! - For a whole week, the supper was not repeated even once! Each meal was served like an art, amazing!
Spa, hotel staff, location, cleanliness, service.
The attitude of the hotel staff is excellent.
Everithing was grate!
Our junior swite was not warm enough for the first 2 days, but the hotel administrator solved the problem and the heating returned to normal, and our swite became warm and very cozy))

We had the most wonderful stay at Huber's Boutique hotel - it really did exceed our expectations. The hotel itself is stylish, modern, comfortable, light and bright, with lots of different places to relax and unwind. We had one of the suites with a lovely big bathroom and a really comfortable bed - we had a view out onto the mountains and there was a nice balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the fresh air. The good sized outdoor pool was heated and very clean, with beds all around to relax on, and you can swim and admire the mountains above. There is also a sauna but we didn't use that so can't comment but it had a really nice view. The food was AMAZING - I'm veggie and my husband eats meat and we were both really well catered for with delicious 5 courses including a very good salad bar. With 3/4 board you also get a buffet of cheese/breads/meats and cake in the afternoon but we were often out walking then. The hotel staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful, not to mention efficient! They were a huge help when we were trying to work out what Covid tests etc we needed for our return home.
We had some really varied and interesting walks in the area - big mountains, contour walks, riverside walks etc - and Mayrhofen itself is a nice town with plenty of activities on offer. Public transport links are really good and easy to use. All in all a brilliant holiday where we felt really well looked after and rejuvenated by the time we left.
Really nothing - it was just fab and we'd definitely go back!

location
Description and pictures were not realistic. We booked the biggest room (advertised as junior suite 45m2), but we got a 29m2 double room.
Design of the actual room was more old school. All the floors are carpet, and the carpet in our room was kind of smelly. Not what you expect in 4*…
The restaurant is not comfortable, very small and packed with dozens of tables.. so if you can choose, don’t take the half-board and rather go in town for a good diner…
If you re « unlucky » to get a room in the newest of the 2 buildings of the hotel, then the connection to this new part is very uncomfortable as well… you will need to go each time at the reception to -1, walk a tunnel/corridor in the cellar and then back in your building you can take an elevator to your room… you see they expanded the hotel but did it the cheapest way not connecting both buildings properly…

Location is great - near mountain lifts and few minutes from the main street. The hotel has wide wine selection. The food was excellent - we had half board. Rooms are convenient and very clean. Staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much!
It was not obvious from the description that the hotel has only the outdoor pool and no indoor pool. Few small points for improvement: we missed coffee/tea making facilities so much and wider section of toiletries would also have been appreciated.
