The doors in hallway were too hard to get through

Room clean, comfortable and spacious
The heating appliance did not work well in providing heat for the whole room. Breakfast options were very limited and on day one our hot food was cold. The area for breakfast could be more inviting, without taking up any more space requirements.

The only thing that I like is that they allowed our dogs to stay with us in the room (we paid $100 for extra cleaning), but the facility is not really dog friendly. No easy way to go out, there are plenty of stairs and no garden or any other place to go for a very fast "toilette" for them.
Another thing good was the WI-FI unlimited.
Where I can start?
1) We arrived and the car park was full of mud, we had to carry our bags or everything was going to be muddy.
2) Our room was very small, with no table, no chairs and we paid $350 per night!!! Not acceptable!
3) They NEVER clean the room, we stayed 4 nights and they never change the towel or clean the glasses we used to drink and there is NO space or sink to clean anything ourselves.
4) They said that we can have breakfast by paying $20 a person but we cannot bring the dogs with us or leave them in the room while we were eating...so...how?
5) the heating system was so loud that woke me up every time during the night.
6) There was a big TV but with only the 3 free channels, so, not really useful.
7) The bath/shower was nice but not enough hot water to have 2 showers, so, we had to to 1 shower per person per day....what??? My husband had a shower after me ( I normally have a very fast one) and he had a freezing water.

good shower, room was warm and comfortable.
no lift, snack machines only used cash (no atm on site). in fairness it was under construction. sadly it was dated, very worn and tired.

I loved the food
The way the power is set .. we had trouble working out why the power wasn’t going .. the key turns the power on . The bathroom shower and conditioner fell off the wall (gave me a massive fright) . The beds were very uncomfortable , to hard . Room service was great !,there was no where to eat it .. also there was no knifes and forks .. the coffee and sugar containers that hold the single packets was absolutely FILTHY, also the window sills were caked in black mould . The smell in the room when we first arrived wasn’t very nice , smelt like someone had takeaways in there .

good room set up.
There three nights. Poor housekeeping. Carpet not cleaned one day. Mugs never washed. last night’s restaurant room service dishes not removed the next morning.

noisy due to the pub across the road having a live DJ. road noise and carpark right outside window.
Restaurant is in a noisy bowling alley. Food very average.
Rooms dated, sink cracked right through, toilet flushed poorly, beds were ok. $50 extra for a rollaway bed is quite expensive.
Reception friendly.

Bowling alley was good to have. Large carpark so easy parking.
No lifts and only one entrance into the hotel which meant a long walk to room and having to carry bags upstairs was not ideal.

We we to the Olsen Pool so that’s why we stayed at this place.
Loud nooses from the corridor we can hear them in the room. Also, the hotel is currently being renovated.
An expensive place to stay and far from town.

That we could bring our dog.
No where deliver3d food to this location, they didn't provide food except for a vending machine. The hallway was filled with vomit stains and was quite expensive for the quality of the holiday inn. IT IS NOT A RESORT. They do not have a spa or sauna which they say they do online.

It's away from the city so it's nice and quiet. There is a bus stand just infront which can take you to town for just $2 which is nice they have an indoor bowling arena and restaurant so you can just chill in the hotel. The room Is nice and clean and had a bathtub to relax in. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
The internet was playing up during our stay and then the tv wasn't working at all, nor would the tv let me insert my usb and use it so the whole time we were in the room we had to watch stuff on our phone which sucked.
