The property was not ideal for our family of 4. Poor access to the property, narrow street and steep stairs. Not very welcoming especially when you have luggage to carry.
On entry the house was not clean when we arrived although we were advised it was cleaned prior.
The house needs a renovation. Definitely not worth what we paid. The overkill of mirrors down to the locked cupboards made it feel like a haunted house. I travelled with 2 teenage girls and they weren’t staying 1 night in that house.
We prepaid for 4 nights and didn’t stay 1. checked in, then left 40mins later once we found suitable accommodation which cost us twice as much but our family were happier in the new accommodation.
Contacted the owner and they weren’t willing to offer any form compensation/refund. They were quite abrupt. We definitely won’t be recommending this site to anyone.

The location of the unit was good - only 10 min drive from Queenstown and better priced than units in the Queenstown itself. The unit was very spacious. Full kitchen gave an opportunity to cook own meals. The patio was large. Hot tub was a nice bonus. Unit had laundry facilities too - which was great. Internet was decent.
The unit was filthy covered with a thick layer of DUST all over the multiple decor items all over the walls. It was almost impossible to breath in bedrooms at night, had to sleep with windows open.
The Master bedroom had a huge chandelier over the bed, also covered with a thick layer of dust. The bed base was broken under the mattress, so one side of the mattress was "hanging" down.
The second bedroom had a heavy smell of MOULD. and the mattress was deformed so when you lie down your feet felt higher than your head.
The kitchen oven was very dirty, and when we attempted to operate it for the first time, there was smoke and strong smell of burnt food coming out of it. One of the burners on the gas stove wasn't working.
The patio had a "hanging egg-chair" of a metal stand which was unstable. When our 7yo child sat on it, the chair fell on him, so the child barely escaped without an injury. DO NOT SEAT on that egg-chair.
Worst of all, when we left, the host messaged Booking.com demanding payment for extra cleaning services ($92), calling us names and swearing at us to Booking.com claiming that we "shat in their shower". Whaat? We are Genius 3 Level Canadian travel bloggers who are always exceptionally neat during our stays and on our departures. ..we even loaded and launched the dishwasher for them. It is no surprise that we were taken aback by both the rudeness coming from the host and the claim itself. We did leave a small piece of leftover SOAP in the shower on our departure - natural soap that we bought from a local health store. It may have looked weird, but it smelled nice and was on a shelf with their own shampoo bottles... However, the owners never reached out to us to inquire. Instead they used swear words and unacceptable terminology when connecting with Booking service. We are appalled and disappointed with Host's behaviour. Especially since we paid over $1200 for our stay. Extremely disappointed.

Beautiful place with panoramic views of the mountains. The hot tub is perfect to come back to after a day on the snow. Overall would stay here again it was beautiful.
Beautifully designed inside but felt a little uneasy with how many mirrors were facing the bed in the main bedroom and also with having another place above we could hear them stomping around throughout the night.

The location is great but I'm afraid our experience staying at this property was the worst we have ever had!
We run accommodations ourselves and are avid travellers, this experience was one out of the box! We booked for three nights as part of a family holiday. On the first night we had an extra child stay with us, due to flight changes, this amounted to a total of six hours. The next morning we received a message from the host to say she'd been viewing activity on her security camera and told us we had to leave and threatened to call the police to have us evicted. We called the police ourselves and the council, they were completely relaxed with the situation and said not to worry, we were within our rights to stay. For the record the police said they do not get involved in such matters. We thought this was the end of it however the host then proceeded to bombarded us with rude and threatening emails and we felt she was surveilling us the whole time. It was awful. At our expense we ended up leaving early and on further investigation found that the host has been fined for dodgy behaviour in the past https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/queenstown-woman-fined-over-reckless-use-of-shipping-containers-as-airbnbs/XSVQYTSSTYA564KNU3XNBJ6OX4/
The actual property itself is okay but the bed in the master is has broken slats and slumps on one side. The bathroom is adequate but a bit tired and damp. Also the interior design is interesting and our kids found the excessive mirrors a bit creepy. The fire place and spa are nice extras. There are plenty of other places to stay in Queenstown, I would recommend people look elsewhere.

This house was a beautiful peaceful home base for exploring the area. The view is really lovely. The spa also helps you to relax.

Nothing
There are 51 mirrors throughout the house which gives it a creepy vibe. Where ever you turn there was a mirror and reflection.
The TV and heated floors didn’t work.
The mattress has a massive dip
The quilt was not covered. There was a flat sheet on top and on the bottom. So unhygienic.
The pictures on this website are old as you can tell the spa in the picture did not have a fence. It now does. The house is so old and everything is dated.
After the first night I was considering booking elsewhere and forfeiting the accomodation cause it was so bad.
We tried to be out all day to avoid staying at the house cause it just freaked us out.

Location was good!! Place was great
Pillows seemed very flat. Also other room bed was too low and we couldn't use this bed as it seemed like it was almost about to break.

Beautiful house so nice and cozy.
My family enjoyed it even though we had only booked it for 1 night it still was a comfy cozy and relaxing place to be in.
Just the mirrors it kind of freaked out my partner little bit, I think we counted 50+ mirrors in the house.
That's all though.

The spa had leaves all through it, was hard to find wifi password with all the rules and instructions, some plates weren't clean and the bed was very uncomfortable

A hidden gem!! very comfortable with beautiful views

and the egg chair on veranda was broken, so when I sat on it, it came crashing down! A few bruises but could have been worse.

Good, central location, great for self catering with fridge, stove and microwave, lots of crockery and utensils. The rooms are quite quirky with lots of decorative pieces. There is some road noise but the outlook on the deck into the tree canopy is relaxing.
Lots of steps to get to the accommodation, we found it difficult with luggage as we aren’t as agile as we once were, but it is Queenstown. It Is more geared towards a winter stay, it was quite warm and the air conditioning wasn’t able to cool the room sufficiently. Some of the furniture is showing its age, particularly the cow hide rugs and chairs. Unfortunately some of the outdoor wood had recently been oiled and there was an overpowering smell.

Absolutely gutted with this accommodation! we had booked 8 months before our holiday (as it was for the busy Christmas/new year period). We turned up and instantly got off to a bad start when the bed in the 2nd bedroom was broken. You could tell as soon as you walked in as the bed slipped down towards the pillow, further inspection showed that the frame was broken. This wasn’t the only bed. The main bed slats kept falling off, after further inspection as it was annoying in the night we looked and to our surprise they were all taped together with black tape and all broken. So obviously have been temporarily repaired over and over again. The house wasn’t super clean and could do with a spring clean as well as many other issues including…crumbs in the pantry, range hood full of muck, washing machine draw full of old powder, dust everywhere, animal fur in carpets, holes in walls temporally fixed, carpet tacks sticking out and the list goes on! There were quite a number of issues with this house and it’s really sad because it could be a very luxurious place to stay. We contacted the owner who at first was great. However after sending more texts she starting going back on her word and made us feel like we weren’t welcome to stay! We had to continue to stay on as there was no other accommodation available in Queenstown at the time but would NEVER recommend or stay at this house again.
Absolutely gutted as well that she didn’t even pull through with a partial refund or at least a box of chocolate and bottle of wine (when her cleaner come to check things out). Absolutely just in it to make a quick buck!

Great location!
Bed was super uncomfortable in one of the room. Mattress needs replaced. Old and buggered.
Way to many mirrors in the two bedrooms. Abit creepy haha.

Everything. House was warm. Spa awesome. Views amazing. Facilities perfect. Home away from home
Where the carpet has come away in some parts and I kept standing on sharp things.
I didn't stay long enough

Lovely escaping the chaos to a quiet paradise with relaxing scenery from the lounge yet being close to town. Spa was awesome as a treat at the end of the day, even when it snowed. Super warm place and heatpump was enough in the snow, there is a fire also with heaps of wood supplied. Everything we needed for our stay was supplied. Spacious. Good shower pressure. Easy prompt communication with owner.
Beds aren't very comfortable, mattresses are getting worn. Noise in one bedroom from a loud drain when rains/snows? Noise in the other bedroom from upstairs, can hear shower, toilet and them moving around at night. Place is looking a bit worn cosmetically, but it was dry and warm and was fine for what we wanted. The mirrors everywhere weren't our cup of tea! Electric blankets would be a bonus. Drier is useless BUT there is a clotheshorse and washing dries easily overnight. Would certainly book again...would love it if there was new beds by then though! 😀
