Good location
Faulty air conditioning unit, kept dripping water all night. Came back from a day out & water was all over the bedside table, put a towel down to catch the water
4.3
Comfortable rooms and very clean with everything you could need. Great breakfast as usual. We were visiting family, so it is ideal for us.
Nothing really accept the dining room tables are a bit off kilter making eating a rocky experience.
4.3
Excellent facilities - we had a double room which was very spacious and comfortable.
The outdoor drinks area was lovely.
Cannot think of one thing!

Staff and food were good
Air con was broken and dripping onto the floor next to the bed.
Reported it. The solution just put a towel on the floor!!

Room was well furnished and clean. Staff were accommodating and available. Breakfast was lush. Bed was comfy, room was dark.
Maybe the noise insulation to the hall could be better but didn't get woken at an unsociable hour so can't really complain.

The breakfast and food was very good , most staff very friendly some bar staff a little uninterested complementary tea coffee very minimal and only had one complementary piece of fruit in room for two people and when eaten not replaced a, for price paid on room would of expected more a. A
Bar staff attitude was hit and miss with some of them , as above for other things q

Comfortable rooms but a bit tired. Staff were all very helpful and bar downstairs was good.
Breakfast was very disappointing. My omelette was swimming in butter I couldn't eat it. My husbands mushrooms on his fry up looked about 3 days old. Minimal continental selection.
4.3
Large comfortable room. Very good food, Perfect location for me
Bed a little hard for my tastes, WiFi signal a bit weak in the room but fine in the hotel
4.3
The room was lovely, spacious, clean, massive bed, great shower
Entrance from car park was locked, sign said ring buzzer, no one came, went to an answerphone message, had to walk round the property, through the dining room and bar to get to reception, rang bell, no one came, went to the bar, told someone would come, waited another 5 mins.

Staff are always friendly and helpful, food here is really good but the scrambled eggs at breakfast are divine!
Cleaners not reading the do not disturb sign and waking me up! Fire alarm test was a bit annoying but they did try to warn me and waited till 10.45am, I was just having a lazy lie in

Staff were incredibly welcoming and accomodating. Provided with a free upgrade to the superior suite which was outstanding. Huge bed, luxury shower, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary biscuits and fruit. Had a lovely relaxing evening. Bath was amazing. Absolutely no faults.

4.3
The location for visiting central London using Southern rail, the traditional English atmosphere including the in-house pub, nice restaurant, very pleasant personnel, nice rooms, also nice for families
Windows of the rooms did not close very well, bit old. Difficult to have some fresh air in the room.

Food was good
We were put in an accessible room with a sink far too low for us! If we required an accessible room we would have requested one and certainly did not expect to be given that room especially when we booked 2 weeks prior to our stay! A staff members response was that the room is still a luxury room! Well I will have to disagree with that when you have to kneel on the floor to use the sink! Also told to put in the notes if we book again that we do not require an accessible room which we thought was odd being that it’s normally a request if you require one! The heater was not working in the bathroom so it was too cold to shower. After a member of staff was informed she came back to say that they were aware it was broken so if that’s the case the room should not be in use especially at this time of year. Woken up several times by noisy people leaving the hotel one time being 1am! The food in the restaurant was good however it was so loud in there you couldn’t hear yourself talk. Was like being in a nightclub!
Checking in was not great either. There was no one on reception so we went to tell them in the bar as the instructions stated. However, we were left stood waiting for 20 minutes and it was not until we went back and told them we were waiting that someone eventually checked us in.
