The entranceway and decor in the lobby
The staff were rude were not friendly and very unaccomodative, even the simplest of questions were met with rudeness. The rooms are very small, so bear in mind when taking luggage etc. The balcony couldn't be accessed and we were not pre-warned. I asked for cotton buds but was made to feel as if this was an unusual request. We couldn't use the gym at checkout which we already got ready for and wanted to make use of the facilities before we departed (as we had a late check-in).

Stunning interior with a lovely room and super comfy bed. The staff were extremely friendly (especially at the restaurant). Buffet for breakfast and for dinner was incredible with great variety of options to choose from. We also paid for the afternoon tea which was lovely and very filling! We also used the spa which is free for guests to use (make sure to take your robe and slippers from your room to the spa but they do provide towels). There are loads of beds to use at the spa and it wasn’t busy at all (we went during half term week so expected it to be busy). Overall such a pleasant stay for my sister’s 30th birthday and we will definitely be returning!
Nothing to dislike about the stay!!

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff good spa facilities.
Room we stayed in was quite small, breakfast service could have had more options and felt quite rushed.

Probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. Room was very nice with a lovely view of the River Thames, Breakfast was very good
The staff where very miserable, evening meal could’ve been better and the selection of beers was very limited

Location was restful
Some of the staff were a bit rude

lots to do, lovely location and great staff. Beautiful views and clean rooms. the grounds are lovely. construction work on at the moment but didn’t impact much.
outdoor pool closed when it was 30degrees!
a little over priced, £4.50 for a coffee and £75 for a 40min massage was a little excessive.

Breakfast was very good with a great choice of food and the light meals in the Lounge were very tasty (we didn't have dinner). The room was very comfortable and clean and had a lovely view of the Thames and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The noise of the air conditioning was a little annoying, but better than opening a window and hearing aircraft and the M25! It would have been helpful to have instructions for the coffee machine (they are all different).

Clean and friendly. Pool was amazing and we hired a boat for a few hours that was very fun
We found the dinner buffet to be over priced but the breakfast one was well worth the money

Location, spa , comfortable and clean room
I arrived to check in at around 6pm, very very tired .
I was 3rd in line to check in ; only one staff member facilitating check ins . Would I have been kept waiting if I was a business man ?
This is disappointing. I have been a regular guest at The Runneymede and I’m used to better service.

Breakfast was amazing, like really good! The outdoor pool was nice.
There were heavy smokers at the pool with a vape and as its heavier than air it settles on top of the outdoor pool so everytime I came up for air I was smoking vape, which was not nice. Also there were lots of white towels used about, so was not sure where to sit or put my stuiff when clearly people had just left stuff about rather than putting it in the used towel bin.
The indoor spa had some nice stuff but lots of plastic cups left about, used white towels again but people walking poolside in trainers/shoes with no bags on their feet which worries me.

Lovely spa area. Huge plus with outdoor pool with plenty of seats. Large lounge and restaurant areas. No queuing for breakfast. Great selection on the buffet for dinner and breakfast. Lovely setting by the Thames.
Rooms are small and there was a strange odour in one of the rooms.

A lovely stay. Welcoming staff. The quality of the food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the river by boat. Could not have wished for a better experience as it was a treat for my sister in law and husband for their 60th birthdays.

Wonderful location, absolutely perfect in every way. The staff were lovely and attentive even leaving a birthday card in the bedroom for our arrival. We had lunch the next day and it was wonderful!
Nothing, I would of loved if they did room service

Very buzzing place over bank holiday weekend. Room was fairly big and comfortable bed. Shower and bath were very modern and stylish.
Attentive and informative staff. There was a fold-out table hanging from a wall which was useful but I have never seen it before. Car park was very close and plenty of space so that I don't need to drag my bag too long.
The river is just outside and plenty of sitting area where you can have meal, drinks. Very tranquil.
There were lots of group of people and the place feels a bit like an airport hotel.

Friendly professional staff. Good restaurant with a plentiful selection of well prepared food.
The room was overly heated without having the window open.

Good buffet dinner and breakfasts, though very expensive. The room was spacious and clean with lovely Riverside views.
It was so noisy at night that it was hard to sleep. Not good sound proofing in the room. The guests next door had the TV on loud and late into the night which carried very easily through the wall against the bed. Other than that it was a good stay.

Some parts of the spa were rusty/could do with a lick of paint

Location is brilliant. Food is excellent.

Lovely hotel food as always is superb. Great breakfast choice
Paid for a deluxe room with river view but ended up with a smaller room. Spoke to reception but nothing was done to change the room. Have stayed here before and the same room type i booked was a lot bigger. Disappointed by the lack of help at reception. I was also told the duty manager would get in touch but they never did. Shame as i like staying here but after the last stay i will not be hurrying back.

Really enjoyed our meals at Breakfast & lunch. Quiet & lovely location by the river.

Breakfast was extensive and tasty, great value for money! The spa facilities were also some of the best I’d experienced in a spa hotel at that price! Staff were super friendly and considerate and the location lovely
Having a more extensive evening meal menus would have been nice as we felt that we couldn’t justify the £35pp food price as that would be a lot of food to eat and the bar menu a little low on choice so we ended up leaving to go to a restaurant in Egham when we would have happily stayed at the hotel and had drinks and food of choice more suitable

very well positioned
it’s expensive
