I have stayed here a couple of times when visiting Hervey Bay and it’s a beautiful place to stay.

I love the roof access. The beds are so comfortable. I stayed in the penthouse which was very spacious with an amazing view

Brief stay, perhaps longer next visit.

Being close to the beach exit. The spacious living area.

We were initally disappointed in having the room with all the disability appliances in the bathroom as it felt more like a hospital room. Once over that we were fine.

Loved the position/sea view, bed & spa bath. Outside, but still attached to the resort, Mineral Earth Wellness centre and Salt restaurant are both well worth a visit. Treat yourself!

Parts of the room was very tired. Needs a refresh. TV was quite difficult to navigate.

We were disappointed

The location was great, rooms were amazing and the check-in staff were pleasant.

We didn't know the pool facilities were closed due to renovations. Our view from our balcony was of a construction site and wouldn't have booked our stay with Oaks had we known. Considering we paid top dollar it was very disappointing.

The shower over the spa bath is very spacious... not in a good way. Bathrooms need renovation.

Overall the stay was comfortable and relaxing.

Apartment was clean and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and property was right on the waterfront.

We were aware that the pool was closed for renovations and couldn't be used, but didn't expect the level of disruption of access to and from the building as well. Also we booked an "Ocean View" apartment, but found out when we checked in that this really meant "Ocean Glimpses" and still looked over the construction work on the pool. Maybe the description of these rooms should explain that they are "partial ocean views", as when I mentioned this at reception I was told it does cause a lot of confusion with guests.

even though we knew there was no pool it did take the ambiance away from the place and is an eyesore.

staff were friendly and helpful.

my room had some loose outdoor tiles on the patio area right at the door. i did tell staff when i checked out but apparently the owner doesn’t want to spend the money to fix it. i told them its a safety issue as the tile could be lifted out completely.

awkward finding way in/out of property Swimming pool out of action. we knew about this before we visited.
