Location: near the train station, has Hemkopp supermarket nearby. Staff: friendly and helpful, good English fluency. Hostel facilities (shared bathrooms and shower, kitchen): bathrooms and shower cleaned regularly; did not go to kitchen much, but seemed well equipped for utensils; the cupboard for extra pillows and fans were well stocked, although the ironing board and iron might not always be there. Breakfast: good sweet and savory selection, with DIY waffle and jaffle irons that are a bit challenging. Good value for money for a single hostel room with breakfast add on.

Hospility nice.

AMAZING STAFF! Booked this due to an emergency family stay at local hospital and nothing else available. From the moment I arrived the staff were excellent. The Hostel is situated across from the Central Station in the city centre with a supermarket across the street. You can walk everywhere within the historic centre and the more modern part of Uppsala. I was surprised on how clean the shared bathroom facilities were, since I arrived with very low expectations. I know my room would have no window like most of the rooms. It was perfectly dark to sleep but depressing if you wanted to be in your "cell", don't be claustrophobic if you book here.
I did like that after the breakfast finished you could use the cafeteria for work/study or just hang out. I did a zoom course while I was there and was very impressed with the internet speed. The breakfast was good for what I wanted, but don't expect a "Hilton" style buffet - it's simple but very good. Staff was ALWAYS on hand day and through the night should you need anything. There is actually a fully fitted kitchen you can use to make your own meals - I did not. You also have access to a washing machine should you feel inclined to do your laundry while travelling. I brought my own snack and wine and used a quiet corner in the cafeteria, which the staff said was fine and they encourage you to use the place as your "home from home".
First of all I would never normally book a hostel nor a room with no window but on this occasion I had no other option. I didn't like that there was no "night lighting" in the corridor. Since you room is pitch black and should you need to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light in on full blast - that could have been set to a more softer light during night hours. Staff were very receptive to my suggestions. Also there could have been hair dryers in the shared bathrooms and some more information on what you could ask for. Staff receptive to investigate some sort of information sheet to stick to back of room door. I didn't like the singel bed. I am a slim person and felt on occasions I would fall out of bed - it's tiny! Less than three feet wide. I managed. It can be noisy due to all the room back on to each other in three corridors of sorts. IF you are unlucky and there are noisy guests, you will be disturbed. I must have been lucky, it was quiet during my week's stay.

Stay was ok. Nice bed and quiet room location.
Breakfast need to be fixed. Pancakes and toast were the only hot things among coffee and tea.

Breakfast was good.
It serves the purpose.
Short stays are fine.
Bathrooms, even though shared, were clean.
Near to the central station
The rooms are suffocating. Too small, I am claustrophobic and the room dint help.
one of the staffs was not friendly - giving all the info so fast and behaving like she has no time to attend to the customer.
For short day- one night its just find to crash but dont plan anything more. Family is a big no.

I and my girlfriend upgraded our booking to a large room here last night.
The window blinds in the room were broken, and the hole on the window locks brought in cold air in the night. The room temp was only 19c and the heater was not working.
They told us the park outside of our window was quiet at night, but we had been woken up by a moped parking in.
The working staff at the reception was kind.
The breakfast was good.
1, Very bad isolation. The neighbour came back after midnight and woken me up with the shower sounds.
2, they didn’t serve lactose free milk for breakfast.
3, the only one chair in the room was broken, the table was full of dust and their bed cover smells when we checked-in.
4, we paid about 90€ for one night, but we need to take the bed linens and towels to the recycle box by ourselves when we check out.

Exactly what I expected.

The proximity of the location
The room is too small and couldn't contain me and my luggage. Does not commensurate with the value for money paid. I honestly think there should be a price review.

Good breakfast, excellent location. Small but nice room.
There was no elevator to the 2nd floor.
