Wenn Lugano, dann im Atlantico!

Sehr freundliches Pärchen das dieses kleine aber feine Hotel führen. Man merkt richtig, wieviel Herz und Kraft sie in dieses Hotel und ihren Gästen stecken. Von Sekunde eins an, haben wir uns wohlgefühlt. Preis Leistung Top, super Lage. Die Promenade ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar und überall gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Frühstück war auch super.

Die Parkplatz Situation ist etwas schwierig. Wenn es nur einer nicht so ernst nimmt mit dem parkieren, blockiert er womöglich alle anderen. Also immer taktisch klug parkieren...

Tutto molto pulito. Posto tranquillo. Letto comodo. Colazione molto buona. Apprezzato servizi aggiuntivi come parcheggio, biglietto pullman. Staff simpatico, gentile è professionale.

Il bagno è un po' piccolo. La doccia con tenda è un po' scomoda sopratutto se ti si attacca addosso. Valutare di mettere cabina doccia dappertutto, ne vale la pena perché per il resto non c'è nulla da dire.

An excellent stay

Breakfast was very good with a variety of nice bread and homemade jam and cake. There was plenty of fresh fruit and yogurt and a selection of tea and coffee. A boiled egg was also an option. The bus stop and the Lake were a short walk away, 5 minutes max. Also you could make a hot drink at any time of the day. Staff were very helpful.

Great hotel, great location, clean and big room

We loved our well planned room, it had an open wardrobe which kept the room nice and organized, we were a family of 4, and the room was big! Very clean and maintained :) We stayed there during easter and they hid chocolate eggs in different spots, my 4 years old was very excited about that

I would highly recommend this hotel! Located by the quiet lakeside, very close to bus stops (bus no. 3 or no.2). Hot tea or coffee at any time. The breakfast provides kinds of bread, yogurts, cheeses, sausage, cereals, coffee and tea. Cozy room.

The WIFI was sometimes unstable.

Relaxed, friendly and a real gem! Pick this hotel for your Lugano stay!

I was absolutely delighted with Hotel Atlantico. The location, my balcony had a partial lake view (not expected!), the friendliness of the owners was lovely. I particularly liked the tea and coffee station in the downstairs lobby. The breakfasts were very nice and the small touches, like ability to pick up more toiletries from the hallway, the iron and ironing board in the hall, the books to read. The desk in the room was great as I was on a work trip and there was plenty of space to hang and store clothes during my 4 nights stay. This small hotel has a really friendly and relaxed vibe, in a lovely neighbourhood and feeling very safe for a woman travelling alone. There was also a direct bus to the train station and a beautiful lakeside walk to reach the old city.

Usually I always prefer to have a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but since these were provided in the hallway it was almost as good for me.

wonderful hotel in all respects

The staff is most helpful and speak English. Very warm and inviting welcome. Tperiod the hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the area and free parking as a benefit! 2 point the breakfasts are fantastic and plentiful. The hotel is very simple yet very clean and quiet! We had a wonderful stay and will highly recommend.

The hotel is perfect for those on a budget and Lugano is a beautiful city.

The hotel is in a good location and the staff are very helpful. The lady provided local information and gave us a travel voucher for free bus rides. The room was small but had all the facilities required.

Staff great - hotel clean and tidy otherwise a compromise.

Lovely staff, very clean and nice walk in to town.

The room was tiny but had a balcony but did not have air-con and had metal shutters instead of curtains so we could't breath with them all closed so we had no option but to leave the door open to the balcony which looks out across houses which were noisy - people banging around, moving metal, slamming doors from 4 am - nightmare. Bed was so uncomfortable, sagged in the centre and had thin cushions, 1 per bed, which were tidy and so uncomfortable, no stop sheets or duvet just a scratchy blanket to cover yourselves with. A safe but no key, confusing layout and no lift that never seemed to go to the right place so carrying luggage up and down narrow stairs. Parking is a problem, there are maybe 10 spaces in the car park so when we got there there was no space so we were told we could park in the street in the blue bays but was then given a time card to place in the car (like a blue disable badge) and told to put 1 hour on it and then at 6 put 8am on it so we could stay till 9am and then go down and put it to 9am so we could stay till 10 and on and on - crazy situation.

Extra friendly hostess. Good location - about 2 minutes walk to Lago di Lugano and about 10 minutes walk to Reformation Square. Small free car parking lot next to the hotel, also can leave a car in the public car park nearby. Large rooms with balcony. Good breakfasts. Free coffee / tea at the entrance to the hotel.

One of the best place I could have imagined for my family and for myself for an affordable price.

+ breakfast was delicious, we got vegetarian, lactose-free food, felt amazing [the homemade jam was super-tasty] + the room was clean and comfortable + the location was perfect, close to the center and bus 2-3 + our host was simply fantastic, made our travel/day/fun even better

- I always try to add the "to-be-improved" points, but I cannot list anything here :) You have to try it yourself.

They facilitate thoroughly.... I requested to keep some food items in fridge, i got a mini fridge in my room (couldn't be more happy)... Lift is there to carry heavy suitcases upstairs, you just have to mention it that you need lift as it is adjacent to the attached building..... Breakfast great (heavy on the sweet palate). Late august, I didn't need any additional cooling via AC, although it was nearby my room. Daily cleaning and room service. Location is great to commute via bus in city and to lago on foot, and to hike on Monte Brè (Ticino city ticket provided upon arrival has alot of discounts, itsa free feature for tourists by this Ticino region in Switzerland..... What else, Ironing board, additional sheet, towels everything was there.... The staff and team is very communicative, caring and supportive, in case of any additional request, i just mentioned and they facilitated me. I didn't use but appreciate the free coffee tea at the ground-floor. And decorum of the place is very nice, cozy and pleasant to the eyes.

Itsa warmer region and one may find tiny ants roaming around within the buildings and rooms. They gotta live too, but they are harmless so nothing to worry about.
