Room was very comfortable with tea and coffee making and good shower.
Dinner was very good as was breakfast with a good choice. Bread could be better as it was a little dry.
Bread was a little dry so toast was very dry.

The Swan is in a lovely location beside the River Thames with a little walking path just below - about a 20’ish’ minute walk to Runnymede where the Magna Carta began its life! Our room was sweet with a little balcony overlooking the River. The pub/restaurant downstairs carries quite a nice selection of alcoholic beverages, cider and ale with snacks to enjoy as well as a nice dinner menu. There are tables inside with views of the River as well as spots to sit and watch the boats, ducks and swans glide by. We were warmly welcomed, check in was stress free and all of the staff lovely. It’s also a short walk from the train station and very close to Heathrow Terminal 5. We’d recommend The Swan to anyone visiting the area.

Our experience at the Swan hotel was wonderful! It’s a very fascinating building with a very good location . Our room was superb, cleaned and stylish , with a breathtaking view overlooking the river and we were welcomed with biscuits and other treats. In the room you’ll find everything you need for your stay and even more: not only is there a kettle with varieties of teas but also a coffee machine with pods and other kinds of flavoured coffee and chocolate.
The members of the staff are all nice and efficient and our breakfast was amazing, very rich ! And there were a wide range of choices, even vegetarian. I would definitely recommend the Swan hotel to anyone ! And I really home to come back one day!
Everything! Room, atmosphere, staff, food

The food offered was excellent. Relaxed comfortable dining area. Excellent attentive staff. The receptionist was the greatest asset any hotel could have wanted. Helpful, honest ( we were woken at an ungodly hour by a fire alarm, apparently do to someone smoking in their room) she was apologetic and explained what had happened.
The room was quaint. Fabulous outlook. The toilet had a huge build up of limescale which was badly discoloured. Totally unacceptable considering the cost of the room. The only table was littered with two coffee machines and a kettle, countless coffees to fit the machines and various teas. Totally unnecessary and very fiddly. The mirror was above this table but there was no room to use it. This meant taking the stool to the other side of the room to the long mirror. Makeup
On the floor with hair brush. Not good.

The view was lovely - just as I had expected, the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The Bramley washing products, coffee machine etc were a lovely touch, but personally I would rather have had a simple coffee machine and cheaper products and have the money invested in a better quality room and free parking permit.
The bathroom was not clean - dust/dirt along the runner of the shower door, breakfast was very slow - ordinary sugar would have been useful for putting on cereal - we ended up trying to grind up a sugar cube with a knife!! Even the carpets in the hallway had dirty stains and could have done with either new carpet, or a good clean. There were cracks in the walls in the room and the shower cubicle has seen better days - the water was so slow to run away, that at one point I thought it was going to flow over the top of the shower tray. Rather than putting an expensive coffee maker, Dyson fan and Bramley soap products (that are £18 per individual item :0), personally the money would be better spent on updating the room furniture, beside lights, shower cubicle, and filling the craps and giving the room a redecorate etc. and throwing in a free parking permit for guests.

Close to Heathrow, quaint old place on the Thames. Original parts from 16th century. Way better than a soulless airport hotel. (It helped that we had a 3pm departure;-).
The floor of our room was so sloped that we felt a bit seasick walking around the bed.

In general, we liked the hotel, the restaurant, and the facilities. Cleaning, decoration, and tasting details, such as coffee, chocolates, and tea, are unbeatable. On the other hand, the bed was quite uncomfortable.

Lovely location and views from restaurant and room. Food was great for breakfast and dinner, went for an anniversary break. Menu for dinner was limited, but understandably was quality not quantity. Friendly staff on checking in, and checking on parking situation. Room was comfy and modern touches and nice coffee and tea in room.
Bedroom walls look tired, could do with fresh paint, stair carpet going up to 2nd floor had a massive stain on.
In the Bathroom above mirror was missing a bulb which could have been put in. Generally room was a bit dusty in places.
Parking was a little tricky until reassured by staff once you get the permit.

They were nice enough to let me leave a bag there and check in at 10 am due to it being our wedding day. They had supplied a bottle of free champagne and a congratulations card which was a nice touch. we also did get a full refund which i did not have to ask for as the gentleman was processing it once he checked the card actually did not work on the front door. The staff were friendly when i phoned up and asked to check in early two days before and the people working the morning shift were friendly and nice when i went to get my bag.
The night of me and my wifes wedding we tried to get in through the front door using our card. the card reader would not work and allow us in the front door. And because they do not have a night porter we couldnt get hold of anyone to let us in so we spent the night of our wedding on a couch in my wifes parent's air bnb. was ruined by the fact they did not have a night porter. the gentleman checked the key card did not work on the front door but worked on our room that annoyed me even more. GET A NIGHTPORTER!!
