There was nothing to like. Deceptive pictures and poor quality!
The location isn’t accurate and it’s located off of a dirt road and was difficult to locate. We had to climb to 2 flights of stairs to get to the room and we’re a family of 5 with multiple luggages. There was no help and no elevator. We rented what was described as a “deluxe one-bedroom apartment” and it was definitely not as described. It was a one bedroom room with no seating area and barely enough room to move around. There was a small separate room, separated by a doorway, that had a bunk bed, very small kitchenette and a bathroom all in the same area. One AC unit in that room and we had to blast it on high so we could feel a little of cool in the other area. The bathroom stunk so bad and we had to keep the door shut at all times. It is also outdated and in really bad shape. We couldn’t even use the kitchenette because it was right by the bathroom that stunk. The hairdryer in the bathroom is outdated and the tiles were broken. When I complained about the smell and informed her that my kids couldn’t even sleep on the bunk beds due to the odor, the owner simply replied that she doesn’t smell anything! To make matters worse, the beds weren’t covered with fitted sheets. They just had sheets on top and every night we’d wake up sleeping straight on the bare mattress. There was a small balcony off of the kitchenette and it had cheap plastic table and chairs that looked like they’re ready to break any minute. The door to the balcony doesn’t lock. By the door there was a yellow jacket bee nest that made us really uncomfortable due to it’s dangerous potential of stinging any of our kids and yet again the owner said that’s how it is all over Crete! They did end up taking care of it after numerous complaints. The kitchenette lacked basic amenities. Not enough cups or plates and some were cracked! The water kettle doesn’t even turn off. You have to stand there and make sure to turn it off after the water boils.

Super friendly staff and perfect for a solo traveller. 5 minute walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and supermarket
nothing!

Excellent room, very big and beautiful (exactly as shown in the photos). They clean every single day and organise our things too. The pool side was extraordinary with grass, plants and furniture under umbrellas where you could spend the whole day. Definitely underpriced.. Totally recommended. Thank you for the hospitality!

Second time here and there will be a third for sure.
Clean and well kept public areas, tidy and cosy room,
convenient location. Thank you, Maria!

the room is pretty fresh and sparkly clean. everyday cleaning, very friendly stuff, pool area very nice
some kitchen essentials were missing: decent knife, cutting board and kitchen spatula;
our window faces quite loud road, it was inconvenient to sleep with open windows, take earplugs

Super nice and clean. The room was very big and worth the price. It's in a quiet place away from things but still close enough.
The king bed was two twins put together

Very clean modern apartment with pool, easily accessible, plenty of parking space on the street. Located close to the beaches and shops, restaurants still very quiet. Cleaning on request with fresh sheets and towels. Staff and Maria were very kind.
The kitchen could have been a bit more equipped, not many tools for cooking, but it was manageable. The bed matraces were separate and a bit bumpy.

Surprisingly quiet location, however close enough to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. Very nice, friendly and helpful owner and staff. Overall, great value for money.

I have no hesitation to recommend this superb place to anyone visiting Crete. Great apartment with a modern touch. Well located in rethymnon close to all the amenities which are literally 5-6 mins walk. The beach is also close across the road and takes no more than 10 minutes to walk to. The apartment is owned and managed by a very professional, considerate and a friendly host Maria who cares for her guests. It has a good sized swimming pool which we made use of including a pool for infants. The apartment was well equipped which included a kitchenette. All the cutlery we required was present to cook breakfast or the odd evening meal. A well maintained apartment cleaned regularly. We had a great time here (10 days) and won’t hesitate to book again if we ever return to Crete.

Maria arranged for smooth and comfortable airport transfer both ways for very resonable price. Accommodation was refurbished and most of the interior has nice minimalistic feel and looks rather new and not dated.
Kitchenette and small safe are included.
I had several requests unrelated to accommodation and Maria was very wellcoming in helping in any way she could, we felt really personnaly taken care of.
Despite overall new interior some items still await modernization, e.g. wall hair drier was of older origin.
Sink plug was not fully operational and it made rinsing of salt soaked swimming clothes more difficult.
Air conditioning unit placement blowing air directly to bed made the AC use during night uncomfortable.

We were given a spacious appartment refurbished, clean and beautifully decorated. The stuff was extremely helpful and friendly and made our vacation even better. The location is convenient since it is situated at a quiet road but it is no more than 3 min on foot from the shops and restaurants. Also, a big beach is in a distance of 10 min on foot and Rethymno is about 10 min by car. We will definitely come back!

We liked the room’s space and standard, the swimming pool and breakfasts.
The location is fine as long as you have a car to drive around
