I was really impressed by the service. The front office manager Yogesh was very polished and helpful. Food was quite delicious and reasonable. The pool was clean. Rooms very spacious. The entire property is recently renovated so we had a comfortable stay.

The room were very spacious. Wi-Fi was strong. It seems they have upgraded it lately. It’s a newly renovated property. Front office manager Rashi was very helpful. Altogether a perfect stay. Pool was very clean. Close to Taj Mahal.
Nothing that I can think of as my stay was too short.

The rooms were spacious and I loved the bed and pillows. Right amount of softness for a good nights sleep. Also finally a hotel where the WIFI actually works reliably and at good speed.
Breakfast had a lot of great choices but I wish more choices of fruit were there. As a bonus though, the servers were kind enough to bring the food promptly to the table from the buffet.

My stay at The Retreat, Agra was super enjoyable. Rashi at the front desk checked us in which hardly took a few minutes. We requested for a pool view room and that was taken care of as well. Yogesh helped us with the local sightseeing also providing us with a knowledgeable guide to take us around the city. The breakfast spread was quite decent and they even catered to our special request for cold coffee and masala chai. Special mention for their Wi-Fi. Apparently they have recently upgraded the whole system and there was not a single nook or corner where I lost connectivity. All in all an exceptional stay and I am surely coming back 🤗

Room was very spacious, comfortable and had a very large and comfy bed! Lots of natural light through the large window. We had some great roomali roti wraps delivered as room service, and enjoyed being able to make teas and coffees in the room with the electric kettle. We also really enjoyed using the outdoor pool, which was a good size and had nice sunloungers. The staff were very accomodating, staying up to check us in at 4am when our night bus came in!
The only drawback was the lack of hot water in the shower - unfortunately it only got tepid at best, and usually was cold.

Good choice of food. Room was good
Heater was not provided and no first aid available. And The manager denied our request to cancel for the second day inspite of sending a request email through booking.com. he just flatly refused to cooperate and wanted to take the money at all costs. That was highly unpleasant and very unprofessional way of dealing with customers. Manager you are Very very very greedy for money. Shame on you.

Paid a lot of money for this hotel.
3.5
Good room and a comfortable bed to get a rest. That is all.
Honestly, we paid for this place to avoid all the scams around Agra and at least it is honest about what they offer, and that was enough for us, it allowed us to enjoy the Taj Mahal and all the attractions in Agra.
They are trying really hard but it is not a luxury hotel at all: you will be paying over average just to get a regular hotel.
They don't warn you that the hot water is only working at 7am and 7pm. And that is if you are lucky, we had a problem at 7:30pm and had to wait until almost 9pm to get hot water after complaining 3 times and had a person coming to the room to check that, yes, there wasn't hot water running.
Forget about the swimming pool as it doesn't get much sun, the water is too cold and they are right now working on something around the pool so you will have like 5-10 Indian guys staring at you, without blinking.

This was rated good because they kindly gave us a cake as a surprise for our honeymoon. This was a very nice gesture. The room was big and clean... perfectly passable for a stay in Agra. Lift is also available.
A few works being done on the property when we stayed and the hallways were average.
