Great Hotel, I loved it! Super lovely hotel staff, 24hr Service via WhatsApp, booked us lovely trips, food was delicious, rooms were super clean and there was a great Spa offering and a really good equipped gym. Will definitely visit again!

Good sized and clean villa, lovely pools and view of the ocean. Staff were very kind but the service was inconsistent. However, Adit really stood out for us and gets 10/10!
Often noisy from the road and temple next door, and there was nowhere to walk safely nearby. the meal portion sizes were also inconsistent (for the same meal).

The view and the size of the balcony. Strong wifi and hot water.staff very kind.
The night porter who checked me in at 3am due to a delayed flight was so helpful.
Breakfast was very little portions. You can choose one main and one "dessert". First day I complained so the next days they did serve more toppings on the bun so at least it would cover the entire bun.
Because of the portionsglas of Breakfast I didn't eat lunch nor dinner there.
Location unfortunately is not near anything. You must take a taxi to restaurants or minimarket.
On booking.com it shows picture of bathtub with the suite also in the description of the facilities of the room. But upon arrival to my big disappointment there was no tub and only 3 suites has a tub with ocean view. The Day after I was shown another room not same category but the bathtub looked like it had mold in the corners so I didn't want to move.

Our stay at the Samata was a really enjoyable experience.
We loved the grounds and the two pools : a beautiful place to swim in with views of the rice fields.
Our ocean view suite was amazing : large and airy with a desk , super comfortable bed , scented toiletries and perfect room service .
The food was excellent: breakfast and dinner both delicious with fresh ingredients.
The staff were thoughtful and considerate and went out of their way to be helpful : Aditya was exceptional in helping with planning our time there and booking taxis etc.
We very much hope to return.
Thank you.

amazing. staff were excellent breakfast and the setting was beautiful.

this is a quiet and small resort. There is a beach with black sand close by, but with little to no shops or warungs
the location of the property is outside mainstream sanur. so for some liveliness you have to go quite some distance

The staff were very nice and the hotel itself is very nice with a few pools and what appeared to be a great gym (we didn't use and were only there one night)
It was the first night of our honeymoon and they had very kindly prepared a bath for us with rose petals...very nice
They didn't have ice for the drinks we ordered. We also ordered drinks and then they arrived with just 1 (a beer) and told us then that they couldn't make the cocktails for us because they were out of an item. It would have been nice to have given us other options instead of just leaving us with a warm soft drink and a beer.
We had to leave early and ordered breakfast to our room, it was 30 mons lazte so I went to check on it and they had somehow forgetton to prepare it. It made leaving somewhat hurried.

Very charming and quiet hotel, excellent service, top personal! If you are seeking a special place, you should go for it. You will find lovely food, top breakfast, nice pools (almost private for you), a staff serving you in any respect! The rooms are very spacy and clean, we had a suite with a bath huge like a bed room. Room service is quick without any extra fees, you get delicious biscuits into the room for free … it was ecxeptional private atmosphere. Not like the rest of Bali with its crowded places.
The only one minus is the 6 km distance into Sanur town - so you always need a taxi (which staff is calling via app on a special price!).

The staff and the food was top class. The one bedroom Villa was wonderful.
on offer were massages, yoga sessions and Pilates. there was a gym and plenty of swimming areas
The location is difficult unless you have a car or use a taxi. Apart from the black sanded beach ( not a great beach) we could not find any other places to which we could walk. The other disappointment was the lack of white wine available even though there were 6 wines on the list

thank you all we hope we can come back soon to Bali !!

Beautiful location, Villa was clean and so luxurious. Loved the huge pool. Staff were fantastic. We used the spa facilities every day. Food was delicious, ate most meals at our Villa. Loved our stay at the Samata. Our disabled granddaughter was treated like a princess.
