Location

Breakfast was extremely bad could not eat at all had to eat out for breakfast (pison cafe near by) it was also unhygenic we saw lizards right by the food place which was dirty and disgusting. The worst breakfast ever had in a five star hotel.

This was our favorite hotel of our entire 3 week trip!

The hotel is located in the heart of ubud and in the beautiful environment of the rice terraces. The pools are peaceful, clean, and large! The bathroom has a shower and bath tub which is well designed and gigantic!

Overall an amazing experience

The hotel is well situated near many restaurants and few attractions. It was quite a comfortable stay at Alaya. The resort is surrounded with lush greenery so you really don’t feel the heat much.

Best place to stay in Ubud

Absolutely exceptional. Exceptional rooms for what you pay, staff exceeded their expectations of welcome guest and Great

Absolutely a spa like hotel. When arriving you feel really invited and at peace. I love how the value for money gave an exceptional hospitality & room. I booked the double bed room and did not expect to be a luxury bath tub, rainforest shower within the room. It felt very luxurious!

The only problem I had was the tv, it was not working and it took 2 maintenance people to come and fix for over 30 minutes. They decided to replace the tv.

The boutique feel, the rooms with verandahs that you can walk directly through to ground level, the location, the quietness- even though the property is located in the middle of Ubud! The staff were so lovely and hospitable x

Amazing location and great service. The staff is excellent and very friendly.

The rice paddy fields which were shown in the photos next to Swimming pool were actually looking like muddy fields.

clean rooms and great location

It’s in close proximity to the Ubud market, yoga studios and restaurants. Room was clean and spacious and had everything that I needed (even the lighting was perfect for makeup). Furniture in the balcony was also clean and well maintained. Spa at the hotel was amazing too. It is definitely worth every penny. I would visit again.

Good location great service nice breakfast clean resort comfy beds .

The breakfast was very nice , fantastic service ,staff are amazing .Room was cleaned every day even when you got back from breakfast the room was cleaned .Didn't have a main meal at the resort so can't comment .

Only thing that I could complain about would be the distance and steps to the room but thats just a miner thing .

Great place to stay when in Ubud

Great location in the middle of Ubud with an amazing pool area within rice fields

Would definitely recommend the hotel even if we had some issues with our room door not letting us in - this took a while in the night which was very unfortunate

Everything about the resort and facilities were amazing. The customer service was great, the comfort of the rooms and the activities available were perfect. My only critique was the breakfast option was underwhelming. That is my only critique other than that... everything else was superb.

The breakfast offering was very lackluster. But luckily, the location of the resort is by other restaurants with great options.

everything. it’s was truely an amazing experience

we stayed at the back and the hike to the street was tough…. not! it was incredible to be in the centre of town and yet still feel away from it all. the rat in the room on the last night wasn’t the best - but I’m not complaining
