Location of the apartment was really good. The common space (living room, dining area, kitchen) was enjoyable. The beds were comfortable.
The description of the apartment was not in line with the reality. First of all the two separate rooms do not provide privacy because the wall separating them does not reach the window and there is a hole at the end. We booked an apartment with a double bed and two single beds but instead we have got four single beds. Additionally, the apartament was missing a microwave, the wifi was not working and there was a unpleasant smell of cigarettes from downstairs. We contacted the responsible persons but we didn't get a response.

Great location with nice view, cost apartment
The smell of smoking (from the apartment downstairs)

Overall, great place with nice location and very clean. The cleaning personnel was super nice too.
I called their customer service for info on the check in procedure and they hung up on me.
We called them again during the evening to ask to fix the wifi. They toñd us they were busy with something else, then hung up on us again and never fixed it.

Location.
The room was too small with too high price asked. The staff has spoken loudly at midnight. We could not sleep because of bad isolation between rooms.

Location close to city center
Poor quality of facilities in comparison to price

Great location, right on the waters edge with a balcony and table, private parking and food shops close by
Power kept tripping and I don’t know why?

Convenient location on the way from Svolvaer to the rest Lofoten in a small quiet town. Despite the confusion with the room number at the beginning, the rest was ok and I rate the stay as pleasant.
Limited contact with administration. Although I got a few e-mails and text messages before arriving, when it turned out that our room was occupied by other guests, it was impossible to call and I received a reply to the text message only after a few hours.

The Statsbuene is super cozy and the view is amazing! The shared kitchen is very well equipped with anything you need. Same goes for the bathrooms. Internet works great.
The blind in our room wasn’t very effective in blocking the sunlight and the walls aren’t really soundproof so you can hear people talking and moving.

Good location, comfortable bed
Check in was bad. You need to call the number on the building when you arrive. There's three different types of rental options. A bit confusing where to go.

the location is great, the house is well equipped and very nice.
there were only 3 heaters inside the house and they were poorly located. not one was in the bedroom so it was very cold. hot water was very limited.
4.5
The kitchen, the room and all other facilities. The location is avesome. The facility has a great view. It has free parking also.
Check in was a bit hard. We didn’t get sms. Acommodation address was a bit different than the reservation.

the staff was really helpful, they answered all my doubts on the phone, thank you Markus! and the view from the room was just beautiful 😊

Clean and beautiful view nearby
Check in time by host is quite late (5 pm). We messaged the host for earlier check in but not replied. It was raining quite heavily & Check in was not smooth as the host did not give the exact house number and door code until we had to call the host to get the details.
It is an old clean place and the stairs to the rooms is steep. Our concern was the stairs holder is quite shaky. I find it not suitable for my elderly husband.

Location is really good. Building has so much potential.
Bedroom was much smaller than shown in the booking, a lot of the other rooms seemed much bigger, I think it's just pot luck what you get. The walls are unfortunately a bit thin too. One of the taps in the bathroom didn't work and there were light bulbs missing. Place was clean enough but everything seemed a bit run down. Just a little bit of effort and it would be a lot nicer. We never met the staff and it took a bit of time to find the right location. Signage would help a lot as we just used google maps to find the overall location and drove around for 10 minutes until we figured it out. Beds weren't super comfy. It's on the cheaper end of pricing for Norway and Lofoten though I guess so if that's the goal then it's a clean enough room to sleep, but definitely below the standards of home and where I've been overseas

Reasonably-priced cabins on the Lofoten. It’s on average less cloudy than further in-land, giving you a better chance of seeing the Northern Lights
I didn’t get the e-mail with the code required to enter the cabin (which they should give you on the day of your stay), but after a quick message I got it within 10 minutes

Really nice room in a sweet location (mind the pics of houses are not from the one we stayed, there is bit misinformation on booking.com about his place)
Good kitchen.
It was not clear when booking that this is a hostel... it means there were loud group of people cooking and hanging about and we could not go to sleep. No sound proofing at all, it was like party was on our bed.

Statsbuene i Kabelvåg is a former fishermen house transformed into a hotel. The hotel is located right next to the sea which means that there are very nice views on the sea.
The hotel could benefit from additional works, notably in order to make the rooms more sound-proof. As of now, you can hear very well what is going on outside your room. Also, our room did not have light-blocking curtains which is a bit inconvenient during the summer when the days are so long.

The sound insulation is a little bit bad
