Great location, but need to improve quite a lot on staff & breakfast.

Location

The breads in the breakfast were stale. The breakfast was so bad that we did not eat it on the remaining 2 days. The staff was very less.

ESPECTACULAR UBICACION Y SERVICIO

Ubicación inmejorable en plena caldera. Terrazas en casi todas las habitaciones. Mejoradas de hace 7 años que estuvimos aquí. Desayuno espectacular. Tuvimos un problema por perder un ferry de enlace y el hotel se porto maravillosament, acogiéndonos otra noche, y con una sonriisa. Muchas gracias

Este hotel como todos los que están en la caldera, tienen el problema de las escaleras. Es un buen ejercicio, pero a veces según la edad puede ser un pequeño inconveniente.

The hotel has the best central location and the one of the best sunset view in Fira. We can’t get enough of it ! The whole hotel is decorated very beautiful and our room is very clean with all the essentials we needed. All the staff are very friendly and working hard , especially Khali (who is at front help us with the luggages and early mornings set up our breakfast table) He does his job with passion and always very helpful with our questions. and Alexandra at front desk too. The breakfast is very good like gourmet style. overall, we are so pleased with our experience and definitely recommend it ! We can’t ask any better than this hotel with the great combination of location, view , service and good food to enjoy Santoroni .

The hotel staff make you feel safe, valued and make you see to stay feel extraordinary, service with lots of smiles

The location was superb and the staff were extra helpful , extra friendly and approachable and always on hand to make sure we were safe and comfortable. The male receptionist who worked the mornings was so friendly and helpful and delightful to talk too. The young man that helped us with our luggage was super friendly, helpful and accomodating. Having travelled Europe and stayed in hotels numerous times , the staff that work for the “Kavalari Hotel” are simply exceptional, best hotel experience to date !

Very kind and helpful staff. Great location with very decent view.

Very poor facilities. Bed was good, but the room was damp, with only window leading to the common courtyard. Staff have to bring dehumidifier between guests visits to help it. Wals are quite thin, so you can hear your neighbors using toilet at night...in great detail.

Amazing, a lot of stairs but would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The staff were amazing! Everyone there made you feel like you were at home. The views were breathtaking, the breakfast was delicious, and our rooms were one of a kind! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Decor was neat and clean but furniture was a little old and the air conditioner was not the most powerful. The bed was comfortable and the room was a great size for two people.

Awesome views

The view from this hotel cannot be beat. Watching the sunset over the caldra and surrounding islands was was amazing. The rooms were Cycladic-style giving a real authentic Greek feel. Our bathroom had an exposed rock wall adding to the charm. The staff were friendly and were very helpful. They all seemed to enjoy their job making us feel very welcome. The rooms are not overly large but there was plenty of space for two people. Our room opened onto the terrace which gave it a feeling of added space. Because the rooms are like a cave they were very quiet giving you a good night's sleep. Truly I could've sat on the terrace staring at the sea all day. I liked everything about this hotel. Some people may find the stairs difficult. There are lots of stairs which in my opinion added to the charm. We were only mid way down and only stayed 3 nights. I could see if you were closer to the bottom or here for longer the charm of the stairs may wear off. Loved loved loved the view.

If I had to make one suggestion at an improvement it may be the breakfast. Food tasted great and was very fresh but, they serve the exact same thing each morning. It would be great if they could mix it up a bit. This was common at a number of hotels we stayed at in Greece though.

This hotel was centrally located in Fira. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The view was excellent! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Be prepared for a lot of stairs!

I would return to Santorini just for this hotel experience

Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The architecture of the room was so cozy, clean and thematic (it looked like the inside of a Cycladic cave). Breakfast on the patio overlooking the sea and volcano was beautiful.
