Amazing location in the mountains nearby an authentic village. Warm welcome of the hostess and great spacious room with great view.

We had a truly wonderful time at the Pritanio. The surroundings are beautiful, there are nice taverns very close by that serve good authentic food, and by sheer luck, we happened to stay there at the weekend when the Experience Festival took place in the neighboring village of Vamvakou. We didn't even know about it, the owners of the hotel made us aware of it as they were looking for activities to keep our kids entertained in the heat. Which brings me to the best thing about this beautiful place - the people who built it and are running it. It was such a pleasure chatting with them, thank you, Marguerite! Breakfast is a mix of a very varied buffet and freshly cooked local specialties that change daily. In the evening, sitting on the beautiful terrace with a glass of wine and taking in the star-studded night sky is a wonderfully relaxing experience. I'm pretty sure it's also very nice and cozy in winter, judging by the huge fireplace in the comfortable bar area. To sum up: the Pritanio and also the villages and landscapes surrounding it are well worth a detour from the beaches of the Peloponnese!
I honestly can't think of anything. For us, it was pure luxury combined with a laid-back atmosphere - we felt right at home. I only wish we could have stayed a little longer.

Good location if you want to visit this area, though it is in the middle of nowhere. Everything works well. Very pleasant bar where you can buy snacks. Taverna in the village was excellent.
Breakfasts a bit unimaginative e.g. not enough fruit and too much on the pies and fritters front. Staff could have been more helpful in relation to local walks and the like.

This place is a real gem. Beautiful hotel, great scenery. Food was excellent too. The host we're very welcoming
Drive to and from was fun for me.....but my wife found it sketchy.

This was easily our favorite accommodation during our two week stay in Greece. It is a beautiful building and our room was designed very well. It is just above the village and our balcony had a wonderul view of the billage and surrounding hills. The buffet style breakfast was very good and included some special treats (pancakes and French toast). A short walk takes you into the village where there are numerous hiking trails.

Only stayed one night. Beautiful views. Next time will stay there longer.
Need screens on windows. There was a nice breeze but no AC but we couldn't leave the windows or balcony door open because of the mosquitos.

stunning views, lovely buildings, great playlist at the bar, friendly and attentive staff.

This hidden gem, tucked away in the mountains, is an absolute dream come true. It is quite the adventurous drive to get to it, but once you are there, you won't regret it. There were even some very friendly kittens to play with!
The room was big and spacious, with a balcony (mountain view) and fireplace. Nice rustic but functional bathroom. A very cozy mountain lodge feeling.
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They even helped me do something special for my boyfriend's birthday!
The bar is very cozy and open until late. The restaurant unfortunately wasn't open, but there is an amazing taverna on a 4 minute drive away.
Breakfast was a spread of the gods. So much choice and such good quality.
The WiFi didn't always work for us.

perfect location for mountain lovers, facilities well equipped and clean, nice coffee bar and restaurant for breakfast only (due to covid-19 restrictions), friendly owner and staff.
room which we stayed had an inclined wooden stair for accessing the loft with two single beds, which considered a little unsafe. if you have small kids take special care when going down the stair.
