Great staff, but not a comfortable stay.

Friendly staff, public bath.

Wifi was terrible and kept cutting in and out. Staff tried to fix it but to no avail. Additionally people speaking in the hallways can be heard in the room and will wake you up if you're sleeping. The location is far from the station and buses are rare if you have no car.

Lovely to stay again.

It was a nice place. I almost got the place by myself. Breakfast was so great and pleasant.

Unfortunately, the customer using the room beside was so noisy, banging the wall and making a ruckus. I came by foot. The place was a bit far from the center. You need to know the bus schedules near the place.

The kindness of the staff. The rooms were clean and the facilities were good!

The breakfast could have been a bit more diverse.

convenient near restaurants and large convenience shop

small onsen, was assigned a smoking room as hotel was full- smoke smell was really strong

Convenient to stay in Nakatsugawa bef visit to Magomechaya.

Good breakfast. Helpful staff.

It is not at the center of town so it was a little far away

Pleasant stay. Quiet and comfortable.

The staff were friendly but spoke limited English. Bus stop very close that goes direct too and from the Nakatsugawa station.

It was quite some distance from the station. I required help from the information centre to figure out which bus I needed to catch.

2 Days in Nakatsugawa courtesy Routes Inn

Routes is a well facilitated hotel with lovely American breakfast. Rooms are compact but have enough amenities to run with. Routes Inn is about 2.5 Km away from Nakatsugawa JR rail station or bus stop but the location is far better than station area, I personally liked the location. There are infrequent bus services until nearest bus stop Tegano eki Mae. One aspect to consider, last bus leaves at 18 15 from station so if you are late, take taxi which would be of 1600 Yen.

Though Nakatsugawa has Infrequent bus services, I really expected Routes to have station pick up and drop services especially during odd hours. Of course, it’s about 1600 Yen to reach station but when we talk about facilities that is something they can look forward to improve.

Bed is very comfortable. The cleanliness and free coffee in the lounge.

Very thin wall, could hear the noise from next door room. Public bath is small.

A bit out of Tienes and the rooms were quite small considering the location
