Located couple mins away from grand baie, the Hotel is the perfect 3 star accommodation venue for travellers staying in the north side. Only a few minutes drive away you will discover the major shopping, entertainment and restaurant centres. , You can enjoy the rare beauty of nearby beaches and walkways. The hotel offers FREE WI-FI and the foods, cocktails was amazing with authentic mauritian food. Staff are all very very friendly 🙂 the go beyond and above.

Excellent welcome at reception with drink and cool towel. Helped with bags and quick check-in.
Nicely landscaped grounds. Room is very spacious, king-size bed and sofa makes it very comfortable. Bathroom area is large as well. Hotel is not too big so only a couple of minutes from reception to room. Staff are friendly and professional. Fairly busy road outside hotel but security always on hand to ensure safety. Bar staff excellent.
Pool doesn't get a lot of sun, so is very cold but is nicely designed. The food is buffet style, so inevitably overcooked. The Mauritian food is better prepared than the 'western' food.

Tranquil property full of greenery. Service-minded staff who also did a great job helping me celebrate a family birthday. Thank you for the extra attention and delicious cake.
Pools are not heated.
Communication for activity bookings could be easier. I wrote via booking.com directly to the hotel; I was given an email and when I wrote twice, I never got a response. Had to go in person, only to leave a message, and then follow up.

Great rooms, Kot Nou Resto excellent. Facilities good. Management very willing to rectify issues. Offered to refund a couple of nights stay as we had to leave early for medical reasons. Offered discount on buffet. Very pleased with responses. Fantastic hot/strong showers were devine!
Buffet. Not good value for money, quality and variety. (We didn’t pay for half board or all inclusive.) Ok if you’re after quantity over quality. Hot food generally colder than it should be, but they did supply a microwave on buffet table!

The facility and structure of the hotel were amazing. There is a small kids' play zone, small gym, little shop, reasonable size of pool for kids and adult to have fun with the family. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was awesome. The rooms were decent size with a little balcony. There is also spa treatment available. You cross the road and you will find the beach with plenty of water activities included in the price of the stay. The staff is amazing and they are always there to help.
The tea and coffee station in the room had never been replenished.

The staff were very nice, the drinks and the food were lovely and we’ll be back for sure!
A little disappointed by the boathouse staff as they were not as interested or motivated as the others it seems

Me and my fiancee appreciated a lot for upgrading our room as we came back to the hotel for a second time in less than 5 months. The room, the swimming pool, the food and drinks were enjoyable. Thank you for the wine as a surprise gift. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely visit again.

I chose this hotel because it's deep in the green, right opposite the beach, kids-friendly and eco-committed. Beautiful pool surrounded by palm trees, shallow on one side for kids and deeper on the other side. I loved the bar with swings and the restaurant by the second pool. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. I loved the food, so much choice every day. Everything was locally grown and sourced, fresh and delicious, from breakfast to dinner. I also really appreciated the free fountains to fill in your own water bottle, so that we could help to fight single-use plastic. Included in the price there are beach towels and umbrellas, kayak, paddle boat, and a glass-bottomed boat tour. A special mention to the staff, all of them! From the receptionists to the cleaners to the waiters, to the chefs, to the guards. Everyone is so SO nice, welcoming, and caring. Mauritian people are lovely!
The beach is not one of the best on the island, but it's conveniently located right across the road and if you have a car (I highly suggest hiring one) you can go explore.

We really really enjoyed our holidays. Hotel is very family friendly. nice welcome, good food and nice rooms. The garden is well maintained and the pool is great. Unfortunately you could hear the street when laying at the pool. The beach view is beautiful but the beach itself is so so. It’s not cleaned for swimming from seaweed etc. We would take a Lokal bus and drive to nearby beaches instead. Also there’s only this much time one can spend at the beach cause of the sun. Hotel taxis are much more expensive than Lokal ones. Staff members are friendly and helpful. They make an effort to make you feel welcome. We had half board as we’re not alcohol drinkers and lunches at the beach are tasty and cheap. Food at the hotel was tasty and well prepared. With HB option our soft drinks were not covered at dinner. I’d suggest at least water should be free to refill at the restaurant like it is at breakfast.
We traveled with a 2,5 year old and he really enjoyed.
The noise of the street and that to reach the beach one needs to cross the road. It was known to me before I booked but somehow bothered me once there.

The beach was beautiful.
Some of the staff were lovely!
We had a good sized room and the hotel was clean.
3rd or 4th time going there. We used to love it but wouldn't go back again now. I was embarrassed to have brought my inlaws here.
Cats roaming at restaurants, and one night, a cat caught a bird and ate it in front of us and the kids. Shocking to say the least.
Cost cutting everywhere. Drinks are watered down, and we witnessed them doing this. You pay for a beer and 3/4 of your glass is filled, and the rest topped up with water.
When we questioned management about this, they didn't deny it but apologised. Made us wonder where else they were ripping people off.
There was no water in the 3 rooms we booked when we arrived at 7 pm in stinking hot weather. We paid for bottles when we should've had 2 already in each room.
They charge you for filtered tap water at meal times, not bottled water, I think 130rs per bottle.(you can fill up for free during the day but we weren't informed of this until the next day). When I asked if it was tap water they denied it initially, then admitted it was infact tap water but filtered- this was important for me as I had a young baby and didn't want to risk him getting sick. Another surprising cost given its not actual bottled water.
They refused to organise tours for us as there were not enough "Australians that booked through booking.com." There was no alternative given and no other information. We had to do our own searching and organising.
Staff are misinformed and give wrong information all the time. An example is when we asked for an umbrella as it was pouring down with rain - staff said there should be one in our room. We ran back in the rain and got soaked to find no umbrella. We then found out from another staff member that we had to request one and go back in the rain to reception to get it.
At their restaurant Kot Nou , we waited over 1.5 hours for mains and kids meals. So we left and went back to the buffet. There also was nothing authentic about their Mauritian meal 'tapas...

Staff was welcoming and friendly, the room was cosy and comfortable, food at buffet for dinner was delicious, and there was a nice variety. Breakfast was missing some fruits variety though but the fruit salad still covered for it. My kid really enjoyed the swimming pool.

Breakfast spread was unbelievable and had so many options as well as the location for breakfast was picturesque. Resort was beautiful and the bar area reminded me of a setting in bali. Barmen where very nice and were just there to have you make a good time.
Only drawdown from staying here is that you have to cross the road to go to the beach but it isn't a busy road so not too bad. additionally the beach towel system was a bit of a drag but suppose it's needed.

great place great people at the bar
poor service in general and people at front desk / reception not really nice with customers

The staff was friendly, the location is nice, beside the fact it was close to a noisy road. The exterior design is cute and modern. The room was o.k but not the cleanest. The food is weakness point; it seems as they make things ready hours before serving and the vegetables look very poor and not fresh. We saw a few time things that were served for dinner, giving again for breakfast (leftovers). The food in general is not very tasty. All in all a cute hotel but not something to write about home.
The food. Definitely something the hotel need to improve

The buffet is lovely, so much variety of food you will not be disappointed. The look & feel of the hotel is very welcoming.
Its best to do All inclusive. It includes lunch & your drinks, which is convenient considering a lot of the supermarkets & restaurants are a bit of a distance away from the hotel.

Small eco style property
Not beachfront and beach not very accessible, but there are lovely beaches nearby.

Variety of foods and Drinks. Together with the TabaJ, has the opportunities to get food at any time. Room was very clean and cosy. Big thanks to the hotel for free upgrade to family suits and also for the birthday cake.
While there are certain staffs who offer good services, there are many who’re not welcoming at all.
No smile and good welcoming upon arrival itself from the staff. The women there was not helpful at all. I need to ask question before getting to know what shall I do upon check in itself.
And there’s one guy at the bar who we managed to get his name (Akshay). He is not helpful and welcoming at all. He’s also very rude in his work. I went to many hotels in Mauritius till now and first time came accros a barman like this. Like if we were bothering him by asking for a drink.

Breakfast had a good choice and Manuella was very pleasant as well as the staff at the entrance. We were offered a late check out
We requested to change our booking to all inclusive package on the spot due to limited dining areas in the north on a Sunday night. To which we were told we had to book an additional night first. However on booking.com there was no restriction to book the all inclusive option. She then told us to cancel and rebook knowing very well it was not refundable! The check in staff had more attitude than the hotel itself. The room was not ready and we were blamed to have booked last minute when booking.com confirmation said we could check in at 2 pm. Limited amount of hot water in the shower and if you need an iron you have to go get it from reception. She ended coming to give it to me but it leaked all over my dress
