Clean, nice space, great service

Friendly staff, not a chain hotel, room size, clean, breakfast, evening meal. All round a great place to stay although on the basic side but clean.
Parking, the Old Four’ has facilities at Warwick race track but between 6pm and 8 am on street parking is free, either side of that it is two hours maximum.

Room compact but exceptionally clean an well equipped.
Fluffy big towels. Great breakfast (and evening meal)
Would prefer a simple kettle and tea/coffee sachets, instead of the pod machine

Clean and cosy room. Comfortable beds. Friendly and kind host. They made for us a lovely breakfast to go because we couldn’t stay for a hotel breakfast( we left very early morning)

The Old Fourpenny Hotel is an unassuming little pub on arrival, but is a bit of a Tardis when you enter. We were located in a room in the courtyard which was excellent! The food and service are also excellent. I would rate their breakfast as one of the best I have experienced. The location is also perfect for a visit to the racecourse or Warwick Castle, both of which can be reached on foot. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The only minor disadvantage is the parking which was on the racecourse grounds. Luckily there was no race meeting during our stay. I am not sure what the alternatives would be if there had have been. The racecourse isn't far but you would;d need an umbrella if it was raining. The racecourse is locked overnight so parking is secure and guests are provided a code to the gate should you wish to access your car when the racecourse is locked.

Bar, location & breakfast as well as the majority if staff.
Room was dated in terms of decor & furniture. Parking was at Warwick racecourse which is not great in the rain. Person checking me in was pretty unwelcoming and it seemed too much trouble for her, I was given a time range to choose from for breakfast and then told it would be 9.30!

Rooms were fab, smart and super clean. Complimentary room items were to a high standard. Food, including breakfast, were exceptional and far better than what you'd expect in a traditional pub setting. Breakfast was particularly good with the homemade Granola and marmalade additions outstanding.
All staff were pleasant and courteous and overall the stay was good value for money. Highly recommended 👌

Location within easy walking distance of Castle and Town centre.
All of the staff were excellent, so helpful and pleasant.
Food prices a bit too expensive for us but if the Breakfast was anything to go by the quality was excellent.

It’s an authentic English Inn and pub!
No on-site parking, but we figured it out!

Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Pub itself was well decorated and inviting. The garden was spectacular with a lot of work obviously being put into it. I especially liked the little garden table and chairs just outside the room..meant for smokers, but I used it just to sit outside and have a glass of wine..

We loved everything about our stay here! We had a warm arrival and great help with parking. Our room was beautiful with loads of lovely touches and very comfortable. Shower room felt like a spa. We had a very tasty dinner downstairs and the staff went above and beyond for our children's needs which we were so grateful for. Breakfast was lovely with happy friendly service. I particularly loved the fresh fruit selection. We were sorry to only stay one night. We have already recommended to family & friends. Hope we will be back one day.

The lady who greeted us showed us a safe place to park 2 motorbikes, she arranged to have our luggage put somewhere safe so we could go to the Castle althoyugh we were too early for the room, breakfast was fabulous a lovely choice of pastries, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereal and cooked breakfast. The evening meal was extra but so worth it, very good meals and excellent friendly staff.
It was all lovely, I can't fault it.

At least the staff did their best to please.
They did not have the car park advertised and offered poor advice what to do. It was not a hotel, it was a room over a pub. We were assured a sheet and blanket would be provided but it was not until I made a fuss. The bathroom floor was slightly raised and I stubbed my bare toes going in. There were miserly rations of tea, coffee and milk. The bathroom floor had unhygienic cracks and gaps between tiles and the door was falling off. £145 for a room over a pub is ridiculous.

location, comfy beds, welcoming staff, outstanding breakfast, wonderful coffee machine, included biscuits and water. Devine reed diffuser. Good range of toiletries and towels
Couldn’t hang a full length dress in the wardrobe as hanging length only accommodated shirts.
Bedroom windows overlooked by block of flats across the road, had to have curtains closed to get dressed etc. Nets would be good.
