The local staff that are employed at MG Cocomo are lovely-
I feel sorry for them if the manager treats them like he does the guests.
I would not recommend staying here. I had terrible trouble with the manager (Alex from Hong Kong) regarding being double charged for my booking, and charging more than the booking . com quote. I spent a week wasted of my vacation fighting for what was owed to me.
Appalling management.

Absolutely nothing!
The manager, Alex from Hong Kong, is an arrogant, rude manager who stole money from my bank account.
After numerous attempts to retrieve MY money I have been ignored. I would not recommend MG Cocomo.
Upon departure I was not apologised to and made to feel like it was my fault and my problem.
I was charged twice for my five nights accommodation, AND charged for a nights accommodation that I had cancelled over three months ago.
Alex- you bring shame to your family. Disgusting behaviour.

The breakfast the pools, the playground for the kids , activities, ie fishing , playing with the cats and the other 3 little boys staying there. Our kids had an incredible. And the room we had was great ,close to super market and easy location

This resort was in such a great location, so easy to catch a bus to the city and a grocery store right next door. We loved the breakfasts that were offered for free and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.
We were quite disappointed with the quality of food for our first lunch, so we did not eat at the resort for lunch or dinner the rest of our stay. The Tv in our room did not work and the walls of our room were not soundproof at all, meaning we could hear the people staying downstairs very clearly. There was limited outdoor seating to relax by the pool or the inlet, aside from the restaurant chairs and tables.

Staff were awesome, and the location is good if you're self-catering, as supermarkets just outside the resort. The bus to Port Vila, it is also just outside the resort. Attractive landscape, on the lagoon, with small beach. Nice pool. Nice and quiet, unless there are festivities taking place. The villas are nice and spacious and comfortable. A good few choices for breakfast. I'd recommend this family-friendly resort to anyone!
The food in the restaurant was below average, and although the service was ok, the waitresses needed more supervision/training. Having said that, if you requested something, they went out of their way to satisfy you.
There is no system in place to identify maintenance needed. We stayed in three villas over our three week stay, and each one had a number of faults, which should have been identified and repaired before the "guest" moved in. They were put right once I reported them, but they should have been fixed before we moved in.

Staff were responsive and nice. The room had everything necessary for 1 night stay. Basic but hot breakfast available from the menu.
A bed was too small for 2 medium size adults. Moreover, it was weirdly on wheels therefore rolling and moving with every slight move.
Also the door in the bathroom would not shut as the washing machine was on its way.

It's a beautiful location with easy access to town. A fresh river flows by. The pool facilities were enjoyed by many locals. Food was excellent too. Staff very helpful and understanding.

Excellent facilities for families. Restaurant was great. Staff were exceptional - went above and beyond to support us in every way.
Beds were a little firm, but we found that everywhere in Vanuatu.

The staff were amazing!
For what it is, it’s definitely overpriced.

Cooked delicious breakfast every morning. Friendly staff. Lovely view so lovely my boyfriend proposed here. Free access to kayaking equipment etc. Wifi extenders in room. Awesome pool playground area for children with children happily running around creating a great family friendly atmosphere!
Transfers were a tad expensive compared to other places we have stayed.

The grounds are wonderful with old trees and jungle vines. The childrens' pool is a delight and the restaurant is wonderful, just to enjoy the lagoon and the happy attentive staff.
Our room was a good size and well laid out with the balcony overlooking the view of the beach and the lagoon, as well as the many gardens below.

Breakfast selection was a bit poor.
Could do with fresh fruit and more options to choose from.

Staff were incredible!
We fell in love with Mimi the cat 🐈
Only one small issue with room not being cleaned for days.
We didn’t know we should have a sign for the door until we mentioned cleaning and staff gave us one.
A bit of noisy work going on but it wasn’t too disruptive

Every member of the staff from reception to the bar, restaurant, cleaners was happy to help and did it with a smile. They made our stay so enjoyable. Our rooms were spacious with a deck that steps onto the beach of the lagoon. Close to the city, it was easy to get to wherever we wanted to go.
